This is what happens just to save $2. I would have had it tomorrow if I went the USPS priority route. CA to nj takes 2-3 days tops. Lesson learned:/

My D2 from W&V shipped Priority (cheapest) on the 6th is scheduled for a Monday, 10th delivery. So's the tempered nickel from LV. Not likely, I've never had an order out of Bradenton/Tampa arrive to Ohio on it's expected delivery date. The previous kanthal order shipped on the 3rd was scheduled for delivery the 6th. It made Allen Park today and I should see it by tomorrow. The TI wire from Stealthvape.co.uk may get here first, lol.

I paid for priority but Houston USPS bites. Left San Diego on the 5th, with an expected delivery today. No, it's undoubtedly sitting in an unsorted shipping container at the Houston airport. Based on experience, I can almost expect USPS to get around to my container in time to get it across town by next freak'n Friday. Do I sound frustrated?

Morning. (munch...munch...crunch...slurp...belch...) Sorry I'm not usually a breakfast person but I'm just eating my words here. Everything but the TI wire is out for delivery. Not a big surprise for the mod coming from the west, stuff that comes from the west (as long as Kent, WA isn't involved) usually does pretty well. I'm gobsmacked that the tempered nickel from FLA is actually going to arrive early as a rented mule team is the usual method.

Still waiting on shipping from efun.top. On the bright side, my Goliath V2 from Gearbest is in the U.S.

my d2 shipped from wake and vape on the 6th USPS scheduled for Monday delivery coast o coast in 3 business days. But my spider silk from CA shipped same day form a different part of CA by USPS is supposed to be here today, weird.

Mine was updated to showing up today. USPS really stepped up their game on this one. Tracking is a step behind but I can let that slide when they go 2 days from clicking order to my door LA-IL.

This is almost too small for big hands. I'm not sure how the TC resistance fluctuating when it fires translates but I think it's reading the volts. Wake & Vape sent a sleeve and a wrap for the battery cover, so I used the wrap on my cap.

It does seem extra small. When my ipv d2 comes Monday. I'll post a side by side with my Sigelei 75 watt TC for size comparison. Unless someone else wants to beat me to the punch and already has both in hand. After reading thru some of the other forums, it seems many people are torn between the 2.

I was going to get the seigeli but since it has some unknown board I went with the D2. Yihi CHip=no brainer

With sigeleis reputation for reliable, long lasting devices do you honestly think they would put a sub standard or untested board in one of their newest mods...? Don't get me wrong, I have been very satisfied with all of my yihi powered devices but this "unknown chip" could end up being a yihi killer...

I myself just purchased the sig 75 and thus far couldn't be happier with it, and the tc seems to function far better than my ipv4 with the same atty at identical settings... Figure that one out...

yes you have a point. but everyone makes a mistake, the sigeli board may be as goo dor better then a yihi board or it may not be.
This is my first real mod, only used egos and isticks till now. So price, size, reading all the good stuff about yihi that has been posted in recent months etc led me to my final decision. And tbh I thought the d2 looked better then the sigeli.

+1 on yihi, again I own several yihi mods and have been more than happy with all of them, the ipv4 really turned me off of p4y. I own one, while it is a decent mod it just looks and feels cheap, like it was rushed to release before all the bugs got worked out, and doesn't seem to perform as well as my sig 150 or 75 with the same atty and identical settings. Needless to say, I'm sticking with sigelei from now on for vw mods, and my next purchase will likely be a 120w raptor or okr box...

These boards come out way to fast for any of them to "kill" each other. The IPV4 is the bastard mod of P4Y's lineup imo so I wouldn't use that mod as a gauge for much of anything. Lol.

I like my IPV4. Too early to tell but with first impressions I'm considering another IPV4 over another D2. IPV3 was never a consideration and still isn't (I don't like built in batteries).

P4y does have quite a few great offerings out there, and I agree that the ipv4 is the "bastard" of the bunch, but that being said can you name ONE sigelei that could be considered a bastard? I would buy a sig over any other Chinese mod on the market no questions asked due to their history of quality and longetivity....

I like it. I think TC is going to "fit" for me. The only drawback is as a straight wattage mod I'd prefer that it bucked below 3.6V but since I bought it for TC use and the TC seems to work well it's good. The tempered nickel was pretty painless and I'm looking forward to trying out TI when it arrives. So far I've only used the nickel to recoil a couple of Isub coils but they are working great. I've got an Istick 50W for bucking below 3.6V on the rare occasion I need it. The skin and the silicone sleeve pretty much have it covered. The "sock" that I thought would never get used is deep enough and has a decent carabiner that will hang nicely off my golf bag I think.

I'm not arguing Sig quality at all. Simply stating I think the IPV4 is a turd compared to other mods. Just an opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I love the d2s small size, tc and wattage capability. If I had the money I would absolutely own one, it's tiny size would make it a great back pocket mod for work or whatever... But given the choice between that and the sig, it would still be the siggy. Hands down.

I stand corrected, a little before I really got into vaping. I LIKE P4Y products!! I don't like the fact that , in just in the last six months they released a substandard mod (ipv4), released the ip3li (which is a bad ass mod imo) which I'm going to venture to say most including myself would have rather had, and then they have the nerve to wait until the ipv4s, which is what the ipv4 should have been like in the first place, to release the software upgrade for the ipv4!!!!!

Sorry to rant but damn I would have rather gotten the ip3li rather than my half done ipv4, and would have happily waited!

BTW ipv4 black/updated for sale
Great condition, few scuffs on bottom from being sat down, normal light wear
Functions just as it should
$40

I hear you. I sold my IPV4 the instant the LI was announced. All companies have screw ups and bad products here and there. It doesn't stop me from buying from them necessarily if they have a new offering that looks cool as far as features, price, etc. I've gotten accustomed to turning over a lot of stuff just from my curiosity purchases. Haha

Hell I keep them all. Two SX Mini M's, IPV 4, IPV3LI, IPV Mini M 70 Watt, Kanger Subox, eVic VT, IPV D2 coming and the Sigelei 150TC. Plus and shit load of mechanical mods and several older 10 to 15 watt mods.

I keep maybe 8 or so at a time if I know I'll use them in some capacity. If not I don't want to look at that much stuff laying around for no reason. That's just me though.

That's funny because I have quite a few of them some 901s and about 100 510 atties in my vape drawer. Can't bring myself to throw them away.

I have a bag of used eGo-C heads. If I'm not going to use my eVics I'm sure I won't be using those. I think part of it is with regulation looming not knowing how tight things will get.

The negative battery contact may be an issue down the line. Only way to tell is see. I actually was happy to see that they had moved away from micro USB. The barrel connecter is tried and true and likely to be more durable than micro USB in the long run. You can't update through one but the chip is not updatable and is already at the limits of a single battery. It's not hard to find and inexpensive to pick up one for the car if you don't want to use the one supplied. You lock base resistance when you do the original coil reading by pushing up/down. My short term memory sucks but even I don't have a problem remembering what that was. Monitoring real time coil resistance used in figuring TC doesn't bother me. IDK about yours but mine brightens when any button is pressed and therefore is in bright mode when I'm making adjustments.

Thanks for that summize Shark.
I'm looking for a back up to my sx mini.
It has to be rugged and dependable. I think this is not the one.
I need to see results from the drop test also. My mini passes all those requirements, but I need to find a back up - just because......

Yea the battery life at higher wattage isn't great, I'd rather pack around a couple spare batts than a huge mod...

Plus it will charge through the USB in a pinch, I myself wouldn't unless I had no other option...

I haven't touched another one of my mods since I got the 75. I paired it up with a Herakles tank with ni200 coils and this combo is #1 in my rotation.

Get one, I've not spoken to a single 75 owner that regrets the purchase...

My short term memory sucks but even I don't have a problem remembering what that was.

I can't remember mine and don't really see the need to see what it was locked in at. It's kind of interesting seeing it how it fluctuates, if that is what it's showing (mine seemed to peg at .64Ω from 430+, then another time it went up to .68Ω) and the fact is that once Ω is locked in it does fluctuate. Seeing it is just something people aren't used to. Perhaps seeing it fluctuate will be more useful than seeing the lock in. Maybe it pegging means you've reached the temperature limit for that build and available power. Maybe it will let us know when it's time to change the coil like Ω increases with a kanthal build.

I thought the -battery contact potential issue was a good one and convinced me that I should use the silicone sleeve and charge in mod. Watching the bend between a battery out and in I'm not sure it's a given that they'll suffer stress and break, seems to arch along the flat and not at the bend.

My main issue is it's so freaking small. I can only operate two button commands with a single thumb. Yes adjusting is stupid fast.

I need to see results from the drop test also.

Passed once here so far. Another issue for me with it being so small.

True. It does move right along when adjusting.
My other two regulated devices ATM are an Egrip and Istick 50w so I guess it doesn't seem to be that small for me.
I have a bunch of VCT's and a couple more Sammy's not getting a lot of use in my mech's these days so I suspect my -connection is going to get a workout.

With deference to those who are satisfied with this thing...
Mine just rolled in and after an hour, my impressions are not that great... The size and the spring loaded 510 are it's best features. The design and fit of the condom is the best I've seen... ever.

The build quality is... okaay but the D2 is a cheap cheap CHEAPly "engineered" mod... A few examples...

The negative batt contact is a ridiculous piece of bent sheet steel with a little spring crammed inside it.
Looks like it'll last about 6 months before the tab snaps off.

The charging port absolutely sucks.

They eliminated the micro usb and elected to use one of those little "pin"connectors from the 1990s to charge it.
... So in practical terms there is no charging capability, cause yer never gonna have that wire when you need it.
This is a seriously stupid design choice. I never would have even ordered it if I had known.

Even the TC portion of the Yihi chip is a question...
Calibrate it to a .2 tank and press the button. The resistance on the display moves up! WTF?
Then when you fire it again, it's reading .28... Next hit it's at .36 ohms. This is completely useless display information.
Just show me the resistance of the freakin' atty! willya?!
After a half dozen hits the resistance has drifted alla' way to .5 ohms. Once set, the resistance should be locked...
and not be skittering around indicating the real time temp compensated resistance. I consider this a defect in the chip design.
Also, the adjustment moves too fast IMO.

The timing of the 'brightened display' is completely foobulated. It brightens the display only when you're firing the mod,
and goes back to dim when you're actually looking at and adjusting the mod. Yeah, picky I know, but nonetheless, that's an embedded chip error.

Is it worth 50 bucks? I dunno, but I'm not too impressed...

Thanks for the review/warning!

Yet another reminder why I need to wait for a device to be on the market and in the hands of vapers for 90 days before I will consider purchasing it.

No matter how good the photo's look or how great it sounds on paper!

Back to looking at the Siggy 75TC mod again.

im still waiting for mine and hoping its as good as I expected. I am not expecting it to be the best built mod ever that does everything. just built good enough to hold up to my use and do most of everything. I think the SIg 75 is ugly vs the d2, I think the d2 is more pocket friendly which is important to me. The price was right for 55 with a battery ,which since I had 0 batteries to strat with being my first mod which needs batteries.

So if there are some minor flaws or what have you . I can live with that. I m sure someone could nit pick the sig 75 or any other device on the market. hell this forum can nitpick a device that hasnt even made it to market. So Im sure there will be those who say this or that could have been done better or differently for the d2 and Im also sure the same can be said of any mod.

I usually wait. Unless something comes up like it bursting into flames I'm not mad that I didn't wait to see it in person (at this point having it in my hand is the only thing that would've got me to not buy it).
It doesn't seem to have any issues like buttons that don't work or overheating so far. But yes, 90 days is a good amount of time to see if electronics are going to fail. Generally if they last 90 days they last.
Generally, there was my first HDTV that burned out from cheap capacitors right after warranty but by then there were tons of reports on the internet.
