Alright you guys (and actually a bunch of others from around the internet) asked me to sell the iPV v2 3D printed docks. I honestly had no intention of selling any of my printed work, but people seem to be interested and honestly I really like the designs. So here is the "deal", for now I only have a Facebook page and a shotty one at that at www.facebook.com/vape3d. I might have a site up by the end of the week to make this a bit less "IM me your email and I'll send you a Paypal invoice" but for now its a Paypal transfer.

I thought long and hard about pricing and have come up with this. For the solo dock it is $10 shipped and for the atty + dock it will be $14 shipped, at least on Facebook. For you guys, I'll make it $9 shipped for the solo and $12 for the combo dock. To give you an idea of what's involved, it will cost probably between $3-$5 to ship. Each print takes about 2-3.5 hours to complete. I have to set up the colored filament, process the job, clean it up, and all that other jazz. Trust me, working at McDonalds would be far more profitable. :)

Now with the longest intro post around, here are some pictures. Keep in mind these are still "prototypes". The finals will have VAPE3D above the cable exit, the base will be a little tighter to the iPV, and other minor changes. Names can be customized on the side, but that's 2 bucks for it since I have to redo all the text, export a new print job. If you're interested PM me.

You can get either of the designs (and a 3rd one coming with 2 atty holders on one side, 3 drip tip holders, and a tray area on another) in any of the following colors: Black, white, red, green, yellow, orange, blue, or clear. All orders are custom made by me and will be printed in the order I get them.

I'm in awe of the response I've gotten so far. I really had no idea people would find this stuff worthy of actually buying. The Facebook page is up to over 60 likes (in just about 1 day). Anyhow, I have come up with 3 "final" designs that I am really happy with. The big change is to the solo dock I added a little side support just to play it safe. Check it out and if interested, please feel free to PM me. The atomizer dock has been updated. It has a wider outlet for the USB cable to fit that chunker that comes with the iPV itself.

Could we ask for the files if we know someone who can print these up?

Open source"ish"? or no?

Would be cool to have it fit the MVP2, w/ say regular 22mm holes on the side (for holder at work to avoid the vapelache when one of my mods falls over it doesn't take the rest of em with it)

Like this, but with say 1/4" to 1/2" deeper holes

For now I am going to hold on the the originals. It's really easy to send them out and spread like wildfire. Not saying you would but if I sent to you, then I have to send to him, etc.

The MVP 2 is coming really soon since I have the device and has the same issue with the bottom charge. I could definitely make one side mod friendly. The problem with making it 22.5 mm or so is how many 18650 mods aren't actually 22mm. It's something I can easily do though. Lmk the 4 side section setup and I'll gladly configure one.

I gotta have one or two when you get the MVP 2 ones done, maybe I won't put them in my water glass like I did the itaste vv3's! Will definitely order!

Anyway you can do an MVP 2 with room on the side for tanks like the nautlus and iclear 30s? Put me down for an order! I would love one that fit two Mvps, maybe I wouldn't stick them in a glass of water like I did the two I tastes! When you figure it out go ahead and put me on the order list, and send me a message. I will get payment out ASAP that price is amazing!

@Damwow with the MVP 2 box, everything is going to scaled down a little and yeah instead of "atty holders" they are going to be tank slots since I felt it to be a bit more fitting. I'll let you know, but I do already have you in for a purple or red one or have you forgotten already :).

So that was the reason behind your "random" question! Lol

What about shipping internationally (he asked in scared tone of voice) ☺
International is no problem. I prefer to ship to FexEx internationally. It would be actual cost -$3 for the small docks or actual -$4 for the larger.
Dhim AWESOME job.
Thank you so much. I have to say I'm happy with how these turned out.

Hey no sweat at all man

Cool that you are doing this...I might see if I can try to build me one for a MVP2 and say 2-22~mm mods on each side with about 3/4" to 1" deep pockets, I don't know anything about the opencad or whatnot...learning alot about Eagle CAD and PCB design though :)

Yeah the MVP is going to be the next device dock I release as it suffers from the same lower charge port as this one. I have also been tinkering with a mod drip stand. Now knowing that their is this much interest in this type of stuff I am really excited to get designing. Here's a little peak of some of the items that have gone out today to some (hopefully) happy new customers! Man it sounds really cool to say I have "customers". So far people have only gotten black, grey, and blue. I want to see what these things look like in red, yellow, and green! The cupholder was a custom thing for a guy that wanted a iPV 2 and Hana box mod holder for his truck and he had a pretty darn large cupholder!

These are freaking awesome!!!!

@Dhim What would it take to go crazy?? Like hold multiple bottles of juice, attys, MVP 2, a 18650 mod (mech), and a tool area?? Yeah…. I like that… A LOT!!!!

@BUDKISS just shoot me a PM with whichever large model you want (accessory or 4 atty) and your PP email address and I'll shoot you over an invoice.

@GargoyleK1 I could probably do something along those lines, however the problem becomes build time and design. It takes hours to design a print and if it's so far out there that it would be a 1 design to 1 print it might be not feasable. With that, if we change MVP 2 with just a plain box slot and make the tool area not massive, it might be possible.

I do however have a prototype printing right now. Rolling the dice on it as I like minimalist but purposeful designs. If it turns out to be strong enough, I'm going to Truffle Shuffle (alone in a dark room).

That sound great @Dhim !!

Could you possibly notify me when you have something made up? Your designs look fantastic and I would love to organize something!! Even if its just my DIY supplies or juice bottles… SOMETHING has got to get better organized… LOL!!!

Actually I made it open source...file is at tinkercad

But if you wanna rip me off a copy I would sure appreciate it! ;)
https://tinkercad.com/things/aVu8MkwFa3l-mvp2holder

It's alive!!! (I found a fellow member at another forum I belong to to whip me out a prototype for stupid cheap)
proto_type.jpg

Even though on my initial proto-type there is an odd seam...I believe I have corrected that though

proto_type_odd_seam.jpg

By the way the new fix the rectangle for the MVP is 24x44mm, round holes are 25mm

I know it's super simple and amateurish [nowhere near as nice or as refined/smooth as yours]...but it's the best I could do not knowing a THING about 3D cad or design

That's actually not bad considering how wonky tinkercad can be with angles. Nice job man.

Ooh...Just came up with an idea...instead of it saying MVP2...I wonder if Vaping Underground would fit on it (or at the minimum VU) :D

Go all the way across the bottom. Put MVP 2 across the top where you have it. Would look nice!

Oh Garemlin.... you *almost* read my mind. I am finishing up a what I will roughly call *Prototype for the 10th time please be within threshold you bastard*. I think it might be right up your alley.

--- I think I need to think of a better name for this new stand...

Does almost reading your mind deserve a freebie??? LOL j/k

And 2x4 would be a great name for a 2 mod/4 atty holder

I'll print that configuration next and call it the 2x4, but for now here is a preview of the stand. I built it to be super minimal, in fact the post in the back isn't even really needed to support a mod, but the side pods can have battery holders, atty holders, drip tips, open space, multiple mods... well you get the point :) Once I get to print out another sample config or two I will open up it's own post with a VU exclusive giveaway. So consider this a "teaser".

That isn't was I was thinking. I was thinking more like the one for the iPV but having two holes in it for the mods to stand upright.

Buttttt I really dig that!!! That is thinking outside the box for sure. How hard do you think it would be to do two holders side by side with attys on each side??

I know what you were referring to, but meh who wants just boring "holes to stick something in"... oh wait.... nevermind. :) I can actually quite easily make just basic holes. This is just an idea that I have been playing with for myself a bit, and doing this whole Vape3d thing and seeing mech stand requests, I wanted to really get it printable.

I was actually talking about this design with the "2x4". I'm going to try and prototype that one next. 2 mods in the middle, both sides with atty holders. Should be a pretty cool looking stand (again extremely biased).

You know what would be even better??? Or maybe another option. Two attys on one side and a slot for batteries on the other side.

Just like it is with two mods in the middle and make like a box slot for the batteries so they don't tip over. Maybe put the drip tip holes in the front for a little easier access.
