I'm going to try this, minus the Bavarian Cream and menthol. Those two don't like me. I might reduce the percentages, but the flavor combination sounds great. Thanks Smoky!

you welcome! Happy St Paddy's day :)

the bavarian is used as a filler.. the menthol is for coolness for the shake bit..

You could swap it for Koolada, perhaps? Why not a Bavarian fan?

no its not to take up space.. it's to give a mouth "feel" without it, it's not the same..
as it plays nice with the malted milk.. and gives the overall "thickness" of a shake..
if you do not like it, french vanilla at the same percentage could work..

and no, the menthol isnt noticeable as a menthol.. its used in place of koolada, which does fade after a few days to a week..
i stopped buying koolada a couple years ago.. its a waste of my money to do it that way..

i also like to drop a bit of butter rum/scotch/caramel into things like this, to give it a "lip smack" taste ;)

I was thinking 1% Vanilla ice cream, .25 coco extra for that nutty creaminess.

FA Coconut + FA Walnut might work better as replacements.

Just thinking out loud:D

nopes the butternut is essential.. using what ever coconut and walnut will change the taste of this juice..

but if it is all you have, and you are bound and determined ;) go for it..
then describe what you taste..
when you can purchase the butternut, then you can tell the difference between the two.

I have worked on this recipe off and on for the last 3 years ;)

That's fantastic! 3 years of time and experience, as you developed your own tastes. I apologize for insulting your piece and thank you for an excuse to spend more. =]

i didnt take it that you were insulting..
just trying to explain if you use something different in a recipe, you will get a different result than what you are trying to make. :)

I completely understand. I'm going to give it a whirl this weekend... can't wait to taste Malted Milk in higher %'s! Extra Malt Milkshakes is my absolute favorite.

I placed an order with Wizard Labs last night because I am in need of some 1cc syringes. Ordered 10x 1cc, 3x 3cc and 1 20cc.

Had to add in Vanilla Butternut and TFA Butter. =] I can finally try out your recipe. Can't wait. Sounds delicious.

Excited to have another mix to add to my arsenal. My favorite recipe right now would have to be a cinnamon danish capella recipe. So good =)

Not finding any Vanilla Butternut or (Butter Nut) even at the TFA site.
(Unless it's a discontinued flavor).
Are you sure it's not NF or LA?

Wizard Labs only lists LA brand.

This looks yummy, first time in awhile I'm missing a flavor for something I want to try.

FWIW Smoky, have you tried FLV's Creme de Menthe in here instead? Stuff is fantastic.
