Evening all, had a question....anybody know how to fix an ipv2 (the 50watt) to stop it from auto firing when you screw an atomizer on? Trying to figure out how to fix my friends(which I sold him a few months back and never had that problem) ....any ideas?
That is weird...I never had that issue either, "did he try to disable the finger sensor thingie?

Yeah was one of the first things I tried(but gonna try again anyways lol) I've seen people talk about juice getting on the sensor and it doing it but tried cleaning that off too(on the outside not under ) but wondering if maybe it leaked in
I can't think what else would cause that, has to be chip freaking out from drop or spill inside

Can you turn off the sensor like the ipv3li I know when mine auto fired I turned off the sensor and I stopped so I cleaned the sensor and it fixed it

I looked it up and apparently was a pretty common problem with the 1st generation of the 20W and 30W.. There was/is a fix for it according to quite a few YouTube videos so my question is... (Drum roll please)... Did any of you have the problem and if so, did you get fix that was made for it and did it work?? My apologies for being long winded... I know its something I have to work on

The eleaf is great for carrying in your pocket. I carry it all the time. Lightweight and small. My first one grabbed onto an atty and wouldn't let go, the second has been problem free.

Hi I'm new on here so not quite understanding everything yet but I think the PIF thing is amazing!! I just don't have much of anything so idk how I could help. I've been vaping for 2 years now but can never afford what I need and my only mod just messed up so I've been trying to come up with the $ to get a new regulated box w/tc but every time I get close to being able to get it something happens bills that need to be paid, my toddler needing stuff, my car breaking down, etc... so I think what ya'll are doing is very commendable. I wish I could have a mod just given to me but my life just doesn't work that way it's just bad luck all the time or so it seems.

I used to carry my VTR in my work shirt pockets till it died, and usually keep either my reo or the smpl in the little mini pocket on my pantsI carry my ipv3li and Velocity in my pocket .. But yeah I know what you mean

I always had leakage with the reomizer. Put a chalice on it, seems to be better.

I haven't really had much leaking, but I usually have either my zenith v2.5 on it or the chuppin on occasion or the clt v2 that I converted to bf. originally got one of the converted igo-w's with it but hardly use it
Pif box 5.1 will have to either dismantle, or begin accepting new members. There is no way to run a box from 2 locations, as some have suggested.

I would be more then happy to vote for you to take it over \m/ got no probs here broas Jim has stated ... in light of recent events we will be changing the box up a bit sounds like gloomy news but in the end i think it will benefit more
ive been a member of this pif box since january ive poured nearly 9 months of my life dedicated to this box and the people in it im sure noone would object to me taking over to continue as leadership of this box rather then see it die out ... actually even if i have to put stuff in the box and mail it to myself i wont let it die out
so if noone objects then if you give me a little while to get my ducks rowed up ill get it going and put out the details i do know old members will have priority status when it comes to slots in the box they will be the first chosen people that have communuicated in the thread and showed intrest will be second on that list follow by any new members i decide to add in ... i dont look at it as we lost the community i look at it more as like the changing of the guard per say
so shoot me some feed back let me know if your interested in continuing and let see what we can make of it guys... and gals

Brother, I feel you. Just gonna state my disagreement briefly. My loyalty is with the group and the leader - not the internetal geography. VU said fairwell to the leader, but my loyalties weren't affected. I will be sticking to my one box philosophy, but I'll still visit for as long as I have family here.

I just wanted to clerify its not the geography of the box, its not about staying on VU. If you read my post over there you would see the reason I'm doing this but I didn't want to bleed stuff over there to over here, but the reason I chose to stay here is cause over at vaping Blips I was given a choice... Move to vaping Blips to continue being a part or 5.0 otherwise your spot will be given to someone else I had no choice in the matter which makes it an ultimatum and I don't like my hand to be forced like that
And I even tried to suggest ways of a dual forum single box community that way the ones that didn't want to choose could stay hell maybe if make the box larger between the two communities its easy enough for the admins to run each side and contact each other by text message and I use Tapatalk and follow both forums real easily it seemed like a good idea.... Yet it gets shut down saying "its impossible" " can't communicate" "refuse to have a messenger" to me... That's making you choose ...not working it out
I don't want people to have to pick and choose and move if they don't want to that's why I wanted to continue with as much as the original family as I can
But whatever you choose it won't bother me you know your always welcomed dred and anyone else for that matter

There was no choice to be made other than to stay a part of the 5.1 or not. The only thing that changed was the first page with the order of the box and typical chat about relevant information about the box itself has transferred to VB... It was never once said that if you choose to stay a part of 5.1 you have to do all of your chatting on VB and can't start your own box over on VU... That's not at all how it happened... It was simply, all the information about the box will be posted on VB so let us know if you are in or out. You already frequent both places so I don't see why this would be a problem, but to each their own.

That is the choice I have a problem with cause if I want to stay over here I can't be part of the box because there's no box here so yes there is a choice to be made you say "stay part of 5.1 or not" but I see "move with us or bye!!!"
