What a lame excuse for banning vaping in Roswell Parks!

From WSBTV: ".....
"We want our parks to be healthy and to appear healthy,” Recreation and Parks director Morgan Rodgers said.
Rogers said the city already banned tobacco at parks and he says allowing the E-cigarettes was confusing some visitors.
"People see somebody using that and they think smoking is OK because they don't know whether it's the vape pen or E-cigarettes," Rogers said.

...."

And so it begins

"War,war never changes

Only The Means of Destruction"

The ability to use electronic cigarettes in public spaces will actually improve public health by inspiring other smokers to switch and reduce their health risks by an estimated 99%.

Exactly, and that is probably why the idiot put a stop to it in the park. Cig tax is the motivator for many decisions we find outrageous...Confusing some visitors....What an asshat!!!

Can't say I'm surprised. I was born and raised in the greater Atlanta area and most people in the Roswell area are well... resistant to change.. or anything that even remotely doesn't fit into their perfect little idea of what life should look like. Think... Desperate Housewives type folks.

"OOooohh... that young man with the piercings is smoking a weird looking box with a button... I don't want to see that! ban it!!!"

ugh...

You know in Roswell the only ones that will speak out will be the geriatric historic downtown clique, and no doubt it'll pass. And if ticketed for such nasty behavior, you can't fight a "code violation" in Roswell like any other type of infractions, ask me how I know....

Yeah, it got passed ... sadly and for dubious reasons.

Okay, so how do you know? :p
