I hope the moderator will allow me to please clarify this issue and put and end to this squabble. (thank you)

Ok gang. I sent a skype message and an email to my source at Pioneer4You to help clarify this issue and clear my name.
Please read it. (And oh, by the way... if you were one of those nice people who said disparaging remarks about me... an apology might be nice). I hope this resolves the issue and answers some questions about honesty.

Subject: Please help resolve and issue with elev8

David,
There seems to be some real ongoing concern about elev8 selling ipv2 (and your statement below in highlight). I have been chewed out and cussed at by certain folks online about relaying this information and called a liar and a fraud. One even accused me of working for a competing company and trying to slander elev8.

In an effort to defend myself and my reputation can you please explain to me your statement, "Elev8vape won't receive any ipv2 from us” from our previous conversation and your last email?

Thank you,
Steven G*****
(aka BUDKISS)

We canceled orders of elev8, and refund his money, they are lying, later will be a statement tell everybody that anyone bought from elev8 will not get the after-sales service.

Now I am fucking furious! It's bad enough when some schmuck drags your kid into a flame letter, but now this? So the warranty is now void? What the Fuck!

I apologize for cursing so much, this situation has got me riled up.

Holy SHIT... I got banned from e-cig forum for posting the email from Pioneer4You to me about elev8 lying.
So much for trying to clear my name.

Why does the bad guy always seem to win?

I was banned for putting up a Valkyrie clone for trade or sale and calling it a Valkyrie clone in the description. The mod who banned me said I was selling a counterfeit Valkyrie, even though I described it as a clone. ECF mods are a bunch PC power crazed assholes.

Here's one thing that is bothering me. I have talked to both Budkiss over PMs and Elev8vape in person and both seem like good people. I have a feeling that part of Elev8vape's reaction was a bit knee jerk. He seems to have a lot of people waiting for their iPV's and his communication has not been all that great keeping people informed. Those basic updates of "shipping" when we can does sort of make people a little aggrivated when delivery was initially posted as 7/15 shipping. On the flip side it looks like P4U has been really backlogged with their order fulfillment so I can see his frustration as well. Personally I think both guys here are good people, everyone has "bad days".

What I am not fond of at all and directly impacts me and my thoughts on the iPV v3 is P4U's second response. "later will be a statement tell everybody that anyone bought from elev8 will not get the after-sales service." <- THAT ONE. I don't care what drama, issues, or gripes they do or don't have with each other. I bought my iPV (as many others did) from Elev8vape as a agreed retailer of the product. They took his order and shipped him units, which he sold to us. Perfectly good transaction. They have absolutely NO RIGHT to deny after sales service or warranty. If they do announce this, they will be a perminant no buy vendor in my mind. We as consumers have absolutely nothing to do with the gripes of those two. You can't just "take back" a warranty. Well sure, it's China and they can do whatever they want, but if they do I hope that people get behind me saying that P4U is no longer a respectable vendor. That is some awful business practice. Again, this is only if they make with that statement.

If P4Y does not honor the warranty and service they touted in their sales information, then they are a company that is black listed in my book. The 1 year warranty is one of the major reasons I ordered a IPV2-50. We as a vaping community need to get this cleared up, if P4Y won't honor the warranty, then that fact needs to be brought to their attention with some pretty firm statements on how they will lose sales due to bad PR. All it takes is a bunch of drama and bad customer support/relations to stigmatize a company in the vape community. Think Amerivape and the fiasco around their Manhattan Competition Mod.

Here is what i believe has happened. This is my opinion based upon several conversation with P4Y over the week.

I think elev8 DID order an initial preorder and sold those at a coupon rate like hotcakes.
I think they tried to order more and were asked to adjust their price based upon MSRP of P4Y. They didn't and then tried to get sneaky with the whole website coupon up, coupon down thing (like nobody in China checks the web at night?!)
I think they were told they could not buy anymore from the manufacturer and that all units sold by them will be void of warranty.
I think they then got another shop to order more for them (which is why the long delay in the PRE-order delivery). THAT shipment was apparently delivered last night by a friend (NOT ME btw). BTW... Have you noticed that there has been no shipping or tracking number given or any pictures of the package postmark shown?

Here is the deal. P4Y knows where every single iPV2 unit is shipped based upon the Serial Number found INSIDE the back cover. The truth will come out soon enough.

Concerned? If you got a elev8 ipv2 look inside the back cover. Take a photo of the serial number and send that pic with your name and purchase date to [email protected]. They can tell you if you have a valid warranty and it will help them determine where it was shipped to.

Man you have spent so much time on this wowzy man I think you need a vacation ;)
I am not defending anyone I will only mention that on Elev8apes site they have said they will honor all the IPV v2's warrantys themselves sold so ok are we done?

I have spent a lot of time researching the ipv2 and ipv3. I thought it was exciting. Until...
I never imagined that i was gonna have my integrity called into question and then booted from a forum for trying to do the right thing.

Bottom line... I care about honesty and fair business practices. I care about the vape community. I care about customers spending their hard working money on a product and getting what they deserve and not being lied to and screwed.

I will be done when my name has been cleared, when I get an apology from elev8, and when I get my forum suspension lifted.

I think you'll be waiting a long time, I think you've done all you can at this point, I also think you know going into all this mess that if you poke a pig that pig is going to squeal back at you and should be prepared for that. That being said one final question BK, are you a vender or setting up to be one during all this drama? Curious minds wanna know.

No. Not a vendor (although I think having a shop or even working in the vape field would be sort of fun).
I am a stay home dad on medical leave after a long term hospital stay (I was in a coma). I don't leave the house much.
I have my vape and my mac. (sort of sad, i know.)

I am not holding my breath on the apology (or the "other" forum lifting my suspension for that matter).
I am however hopeful that integrity and honesty win out in this situation. Honor is a code of life that applies to us all.

The problem I see BudKiss, is Elev8vape has shot your information down. Which does call into question what you have said, as well as your motives. You stated that per your conversation with P4Y, Elev8vape wouldn't be receiving any further units. Yet they have received their units and are getting them shipped out as quickly as they can. You've stated P4Y won't fufill the warranty on any units sold through Elev8vape or other companies that sold below their price. Legally they cannot do that. They are obligated to fulfill the warranty irregardless of who you bought through. They might make it hard to do so, but ultimately they must fulfill it. And, Elev8vape is going to handle the warranty, for their customers, themselves. They, as the retailer, are not obligated to do so, but they are stepping up to the plate to make sure their customer's needs are met. Personally, beyond the fact that I am a customer of elev8vape, I dont' have a dog in this fight. But I do find it curious as to what your motivations are in this.

My motive was finding out about the iPV3 pure and simple. I was super excited about the new box.
In the process of that interview I learned the P4Y stopped selling to elev8. It was ONE question, one line in the whole interview
I posted the interview and then quickly got clobbered by (apparently an elev8 fan or the owner or employee or whatever).

Yes they now have units in stock. You are correct. This new shipment that they received were purchased by another vendor so elev8 could get around the P4Y thing. P4Y did not sell these directly to elev8. (They never showed a tracking number, shipping invoice or anything did they?)

Of course elev8 has tried to shoot this info down (and try to smudge my reputation). It is bad for business to be caught being less than honest.
P4Y is investigating where and how they got this new shipment and their response will be made public very soon. As God as my witness, and on the eyes of my three children... I promise you!

Friend, I have absolutely nothing to gain in lying about this. What would be the point?! I didn't order from them. I am not a competitor. I don't have a dog in this fight either. I only want honest business practice and integrity in the vape community. Don't you?
When they attacked me personally for trying to show the truth I was deeply offended. When I got booted from a forum for posting evidence of that truth i was rightfully upset. When elev8 continues to poke fun at my expense (on their web site), boast of their accomplishment (as if they succeeded in pulling the wool over P4Y and customer's eyes), and deceive people... I get angry.
At some point this should stop and they should be held accountable.

PLEASE feel free to email David at P4Y direct to confirm all of this. Perhaps then a 'thank you' instead of questioning my motive might be in order.

I cant really comment about the warranty thing. I passed on what was given to me IN WRITING direct from P4Y. (I am not sure if that is legal either truthfully. I figure if you can an iPV and the little warrenty card in the box then they have to honor it, right?)

Don't count on your other forum suspension getting lifted. They are rather draconian and self-entitled in that aspect. As for getting an apology from Arlind and his fanboys, won't happen.

100W is... beaucoup watts :) About 85 more than I'll ever need personally. But I can see this mod being a very desirable item for a couple of vaper friends who are into that sort of thing.

With all these problems, I think I will stick with Regulated Devices that have a 5 amp output max. I dont have any intention on sub ohm chasing, nor do i need more than 12w for the tanks I use. I think part of the problem with mods today, is that we have a group of people trying to go bigger on wattage, with devices that were intended to have lower amp output on continuous use. If you read the disclaimers on more and more juice producers, even they recommend using 1.8 and higher on the coils and atty set ups, they also recommend using lower wattage as to not "burn" the juices they are making. I was in a local BnM the other day and a youngster sneered at my lil groove with the Giant I have on it, we were both using the same ejuice. He told me to try his set up, which was a 50w box with a tugboat atty on it, he told me I would be impressed at how much more flavor and clouds I will produce....I took a few toots, and I could barely taste it. Big clouds, yes. Then I had him try my set up, 5v 10w with 1.9 ohm Giant, same juice mind you....He ordered his Groove II right there from his phone, and spent ten minutes baffled as to how much better the flavor was, and the clouds were a respectable size. Bigger is not always better, unless you are hunting attention....This however, is only my opinion.

I do have interest in trying new machines, dont get me wrong. But i tend to like the models that boast long daily use and sleek design, over super wattage. As someone who smoked cigs, pipes and cigars, for over twenty years, I vape a lot more often than a lot of others that are younger than myself, my vape device is in my hand all day long.Stopping to redrip every five minutes is not practical as I have a lot of tasks that are on my to do list, daily....and I go through around 7 to 10 ml a day of my juices....

I went for the atomizer, I can't see putting out that kind of change on something that has not been around a month or so. My Hanna clone fried in only 12 hours. I can wait a month or so. Besides I just put a wiring diagram on the "why is mod hardware a secret". Thread for OKL2 /T20. It puts out 110 they claim. That's 10 more than this Mod. Soon as UPS finds My Shipment from mouser I will build one and see.

I don't have a v1, but I am pretty certain it is the exact same box. Just a difference between the 35w and 50w from the chi
Dhim or Elev8vape? ;)
I hope people wouldn't consider me behind. I am printing every stand to custom order, heck even got a new printer to meet demand. Longest lead time anyone has had to wait was 2 days since paying, most have been 1 day (or less).
stand is wonderful too. Love it love it LOVE IT!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Looks great all loaded up. I'm using the exact same one in the same color :)

Well, as of yesterday, I have now received both of my IPV2 preorders. One from my local shop that is my preferred source, and one frome elev8vape that I bought primarily to resell. My local shop got me mine on Thursday, and the one from elev8vape arrived yesterday (Saturday). Both function just fine and I can definitely tell 50 watts is going to be more power than I'll ever need. So I think I will skip the IPV3 when it comes out. Especially since it looks like it will need two batteries thus increasing the size and weight.

I have always wondered, at what point is too much, too much? A Guy down the street has a Mustang Super Snake. 750 HP. He drives it to Kroger, parks as far away from other cars as he can. To the corner store, that's it. I asked him why he bought a 90,000.00 car. You never drive it over 40 mph. He said, You never know when you may need the HP. I have a OKL T10 I built. Has no screen to show power. @ less than half way up it just boils juice. I am guessing about 40 watts. It's useless beyond that. I wonder what 100 watts will do. I'm using .22 Kanthal on a 4 coil atomizer. Status symbol I guess.

I'm with you on this, I can't Vape 50W now, nice to know I can go up if needed.
Currently 1 ohm dual coil on a dripper, 28G A1 @ 26W does well for me, yes, I cranked it up to 50W and did not like the taste. now, do that at 100W? can't see myself at that level, That said... a dual battery set-up would be nice for more mah, as long as it is not the size of one of my shoe boxes....

There is no too much, provided you're not hurting others. Driving an overpowered car hurts others because it depleted the planet's limited shared oil resources for nothing. Vaping at 50W (or 500W or 5000W) hurts nobody - other than you, possibly, should it ever be proven that juice produces nasty chemicals when heated too much, but that's nobody's business but your own.

I have tried 50 watts on my dual coil twisted 28 sub ohm build on my Patriot RDA. It was hot and strong and way too much nic (i use 12-18) but at least I can say I tried it. It isn't my preference, really.... but i will keep trying with a better VG juice and different build.
When i brought my iPV2 into some B&M shops they had the right build and better lungs and higher VG juice to do so like a pro.

SO.. i guess to each his own. I am sure when 100 comes out they will hit that as well.

What attracts me most to the ipV3 is the dual battery (not so much the 100 w).

I would think that the 100+ watt units would need a lot of battery horsepower such as a 26650 or 26700 (I have one of these by Panasonic, 4000Mah, 50 amp continuous draw). Dual parallel 18650's are cool, but the need to be the same battery make and only used in the 100W mod. Not a problem if you charge via usb. The usb charging issue brings up some questions like how long will it take to charge a unit with 2 18650's with a total Mah of say 5200 (2 VTC5 @ 2600Mah each).

"how long will it take to charge a unit with 2 18650's with a total Mah of say 5200"

I guess it will depend on
1) how many amps the SX330 V3 USB board will allow in at one time to charge (2a would be ideal)
2) What you decide to plug the other end of the USB to.
I have a wall unit to USB that I bought from Fasttech that will allow 2.5amps of charging power.

If P4U decides to play games over who they are going to give the warranty to then I will never buy anything from them again.
They should have put dual 18650's in the IPV2 like the OKR/T2 boxes.

Whenever I see a SX350 mod box with a single 18650 and "upgradable to 80watts!!!" in the description I can't help but laugh.
How long will it last at 80 watts? 5 minutes? If it fires at all!

My question: Who is going to make a hack to allow the SX330 V2 (Same as the V3, different firmware) to go to 100 watts?
and when are they going to start trying to hack this chip?

If you look at the specs of the YiHi sx330 v3 it appears it has already been hacked.
How else did P4Y add USB port, touchfire, and upgradeable firmware. Sigelei apparently has done the same.
I suspect, since iPv2 just came out that they are keeping their cards close as to HOW they did the modification.
In time the 'how to' will leak out, i am sure.

Please forgive an old man. Does "hack" mean acquire the means to change a device, or simply change it's parameters of use?

i suspect the original post meant to hack or alter the ability of the inside chip so it will exceed the initial release specs.

Yes... i once heard an old guy describing an embarrassing mistake he made. He said and I quote, "Boy I sure pulled a boner!"
I about fell out and wet myself.

"Bad" used to be bad. Now it is good
"Sick" used to be unhealthy, now it is actually awesome
Fat (actually Phat) doesn't mean overweight.

Hmmm... that might make for an interesting thread. "How the meaning of words have changed"
