What are the most commonly used drip tips?

Smaller diameter drip tips tend to enhance flavor where as larger diameter tips can improve vapor production ,providing the proper tank or rda used for its intended purpose.

Smaller tips also will increase heat as larger ones can decrease heat.

No one tank or rda will be at its best with just one drip tip and thats something you have to experiment with to find what you like most.

Hope this helps some.

^^^what he said!!!
yes they really make a big difference as odd as it sounds. I wouldn't have believed it until someone sent me one as a gift when I bought my first Mech and RDA back in the day. It really opened me up to ditching the stock DTs. I DIY, so whenever I do go to a b&m I just pick up a driptip; and, doing that I've gotten to where I have a fairly large assortment to try out when the vapemail arrives. Like the rest of vaping though, its all what gives you the performance you like

X2!! Drip tips are an often overlooked way to manage airflow. I prefer the Dotmod friction-fit drip tips, the lack of a rubber o-ring allows for a super wide bore opening. For me they work well with the way i vape. I like to drip through the tip usually. And they're super comfortable. Just another thing to mess around with-it all changes the vaping experience a bit. But they do make a big difference-at least the size of the opening does. Below are two of my favorites: one with an o-ring and smaller opening and one friction fit with a larger bore.

Airflow is crucial in vaping. So many folks build and sick great, use great juice, have good airflow And then use a tight 510 drip tip and are missing out. At the same time one that is too big can be detrimental in pursuing a great Vape.

I am currently hunting for a nice wide bore TEFLON tip. Heard good things

Those dot mods that @scarecrowjenkin posted are great! they have a black Delerin one that I have on order. Right now I'm using the gold tip with delerin base on my Aeolus v2...its an awesome tip, highly recommended !

I have several Delrin but no Teflon. Sort of hard to find unless in The UK. Anyone have one? Thoughts?

Ive found some of the stock drip tips that came with tanks and attys to suck compared to others i have...One of my favorite flavor only tips came off a kayfun..A super tiny hole at the top of the tip that with low power brings out flavor in anything i own.

Right now my favorite are the orchid drip tips..Delrin bottoms and stainless tops...medium sized hole..over 4mm i.d of actual air flow....works great on most all my tanks and even some rda's...Stays cool..good flavor and decent cloud for me personally.

I'm sure most folks know this, but for just sheer quantity of drip tips fast tech has u covered, and most are dirt cheap. For me I prefer plastic or delrin, don't have any Teflon yet but I will probably get some. After using aftermarket tips I've found that as most folks have said it does make a difference.

I've thought about purchasing new drip tips time and time again. Unfortunately my local shop doesn't ever get new tips in, and none of the tips they carry are interesting to me, except a dynasty drip tip that I will eventually get. I am trying to build for flavor lately, and I definitely need a drip tip for the job. Got to get a nice atty too.. All mine are "cloud chasers."

Drip tips are an accessory I haven't really explored. Pretty much just using what comes with the atty. I'm gonna check it out after reading this, get a couple.

Are the minis like the derringer, snub nose, etc? I just got a magma and have been using single coil builds mostly. I'd consider myself to be a flavor chaser. Do the minis give you better or more flavor? I'm kinda a noob to the rdas and just got into diy.

100% they do. A thinner tip for me ALWAYS equals more flavour. A wide bore tip is much less flavour, more for clouds.

My favourite tips, for any of my RDA's if I am going for flavour, is the tip that comes with the nautilus mini, and I also have a straight tip that has about a 6MM bore. I have many others, and a few on the way from china, but I always use them two, and the do increase the flavour. I do not know if it concentrates the vapour so it hits a smaller spot on your tongue or how it works, but I always fins thinner tips, all the way to the top, not small bore but widens, they seem to have less flavour also.

It has to be thin right till the end I find.

I have a drip tip coming with a purchase I made of cotton bacon, we'll see what it looks like as I have no clue.
I will definitely be starting a collection of drip tips when I buy my freakshow Mini next week, want to get the most flavor out of it. Might go with the chuff cap, in which case I'll use the tip on my Crown tank!

I don't see how you can use a chuff on the FS, unless there's an entire second top cap with cannon bore hole in the top.
I said this in another thread... I was under the impression that the mini was not compatible wwith the chuff cap, but two on here said that it was... It's not, isn't it.

The quick pics I googled had a side view showing the cooling fins attached to a 510 sized chimney.
If that entire flat pops off (like the Samuri Bonsai)... cool.
Otherwise, it would require a second body/top cap as I mentioned. I think.

Plus, I wish "Chuff Cap" would become a standard, so RDA makers could have a standard bore and we could buy chuffs and 510 adaptors just like 510s.
I agree. I'm under the impression from websites selling it the chuff won't fit.

I wish as well, my Mutation 3 is great because I can put the 510 adapter on 'er, but my Doge X2 will never fit a fricken DT, the wide bore is insane. Hence the need for a flavor Atty, two clouders and no flavor... I now want flavor and lots of it.
