I have a request that may either be super simple or ridiculously hard. I don't know. All my recipes are usually really simple, but I would like a recipe for boss reserve from cuttwood. I would imagine a clone of cuttwood's boss reserve would be complicated. Now here's the kicker. I have found recipes for a clone of BR, but half the flavors had diketones or butyric acid in them and as a rule of thumb I avoid those things. I know it will be nigh on impossible to completely recreate BR without diketones since I would imagine there are some in BR itself, but if someone could get close I'd greatly appreciate it.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/268974991/VaporShark-E-Liquid-Testing#scribd Actual test results on that liquid, fyi. With over 200ppm of acetyl propionyl, you're just not going to get similar flavor without diketones. Unless there is a chemical breakthrough in the flavoring industry, your choice will be to find a new flavor profile you like or vape some kind of diketones.

Holy shit that's a lot. Looks like no more BR for me. Thanks. I'll have to do some experimenting. Try to find something delicious. Thanks for the tip of purevapes having those 3ml for $1.50 over in ecf. Thinking I might spend more time here from now on. Seems a lot easier to find what I want here.

Bad Blood by Bad Drip Labs https://baddistribution.com/product/bad-drip-30ml/
Description might make it seem as if it is and andromeda like vape... but it's far from it. Sweet and tart. And I can't seem to separate the flavourings from each other for they are really well blended. I would love any advice (even if not a recipe, just a direction in which to go). Everything I mix just ends up to sweet.
Thanks

Have you just thrown a random blueberry recipe at me?:) it's not that bad after shake, I must say, but far from what I'm after. Thanks though

Wasn't a random recipe. I've been using that recipe for years in my local shop and it fit your "sweet and tart description". It is actually one of our best sellers but don't tell anyone lol

Looking for a tobacco recipe that's sweet. I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to tobacco though. I like really sweet recipes with tobacco in them, but not straight tobacco-ey flavors. I tried hic's "light cigarette replacement" recipe, but I don't have oakwood so I tried using maple syrup instead to maybe add the sweetness I look for. That didn't really work though as the other 3 tobaccos in it just overtook it. Anyone have sweet tobacco recipes? I'm also a sucker for a good ry4 recipe. I loved ry4 double from tfa, but currently don't have any.

Dang I don't have any of those flavors except the vanilla bourbon lol. I'm having a hard time finding a use for bourbon and tahity. I seem to always end up replacing them with classic. That does sound yummy though. All I currently have is FA stuff. I used to get tfa, but for some reason I drifted away to nothing, but fa.

Most of my stash is FA, too. FA makes an RY4.

I'm actually making a recipe right this very second with it :). trying .5% maple syrup, .5% van bourbon, 1.5% ry4 and maybe some nut mix. Idk yet. I'm kinda sorta a diy noob so please for the love of god if i'm about to make something horrifying stop me lmao. i've never really had the money to really branch out and try a bunch of different things. i've always just found a few things I like and made a lot of the same recipes. My current adv which is beginning to bore me now is .25% graham cracker v2 from Cap, .5% Marshmallow, .3% vanilla classic, and .3% chocolate. I used to love it, but now i've vaped it so much i don't really taste it anymore.

I'm going to try to make 10 different recipes, but I might run out of PG and VG :/. I'm reading Hic's "my notes on" on mama j's website and looking at a spreadsheet with the different FA %s on it and going from there. I'll send a picture of what I wrote down. Maybe some kind sir/ma'am could give me some notes on them. I'm going to let them steep for at least a few days before vaping them. I also put them in this waterproof container and bring that into a hot shower with me to let at least the heat of the shower get to them for 10 to 15 minutes a day lol. I'll let everyone know what I think when I finally get around to vaping them :).

If your current adv really is just over 1% total flavoring like you listed it there, then the strength of the one you are trying with .5 FA Maple Syrup is going to blow your socks off. It is a very prominent flavor in mixes.

I'm sorry. I made a mistake there. 2.5% graham cracker v2, 3% vanilla classic, 3% chocolate and 5% marshmallow. Lol brainfart.

*whew* Then your maple-RY4 percents are reasonable. It'll be very maple, I predict. :)

Good I'd love a good maple tobacco recipe. Hopefully it comes out nice. I did end up adding some nut mix. I think .6% or so. I'd have to look at my notepad to dbl check. I had just enough pg and vg to make 10 10ml bottles lol. Of 10 different recipes of course.

My recipe ended up being .5% maple syrup, .5% vanilla bourbon, 2% ry4, and 1.8% nut mix, all FA. It's not bad, pretty smooth, but the tobacco in the ry4 doesn't really cut it for me and it's not quite as sweet as I was hoping. Should I have let it steep longer? Or maybe swap the ry4 out for a light tobacco maybe 7 leaves? I have 0 experience with FA tobacco. Looking for a light tobacco taste, nothing "dark" or

Another recipe from HIC. It's semi sweet but you could adjust too. I like it.

I get the distinct feeling my wallet isn't going to like all these recipes people keep giving me here lmao. Rocketpuppy's ry4, a few hic recipes, and a few other gems I've seen around. You all keep giving me these recipes and I keep going damnit I need that flavor and that flavor and that... lol

I suspect 1.8% Nut Mix sucked the sweetness out of Maple. That's a lot of raw nut flavor. RY4 benefits from caramel/butterscotch imo, which would raise the sweetness level. 7Leaves is really popular as a lighter tobacco, but I wouldn't use it with maple myself. Maxx Blend is another light tobacco with honey/caramel (more honey with great nic base; more caramel with "spicier" nic) notes that would definitely complement maple flavor. Of course you don't have to use just 1 tobacco. FA's tobacco flavors mix will. Nearly all mixes with FA tobacco flavors will change as they age - sometimes drastically - so anything you don't like, try it again in a week or two.

Hmm maybe cut the nut mix by at least half if not drop it down to maybe .5% or remove it completely, add in a dash of Maxx blend you think? Think I'm getting closer to something good. Wasn't a bad start by any means.

0-.5% Nut Mix is bound to be better, and some Maxx might give you the sweeter, more tobacco-y results you're looking for.
Keep good notes on what's in each bottle as you let your tobacco blends age. You never know which one might steep into a bottle of greatness.

Oh yea I learned years ago to take extensive notes on what's in each bottle, what was great, what tasted like dog shit, etc., lol. Seems like for every good recipe I have a dozen garbage ones were needed to lead up to it lol.

Lmao. Some I get close right off the bat. Others take dozens of tries lol. Is there somewhere where all the FA tobaccos are described like side by side?

Looking for a recipe thats something like coconut caramel ice cream with a small amount of nut flavor. It taste like you can taste the waffle cone too any suggestions
Try this... I haven't tried this but it should get you pretty dam close.

3% TFA Caramel Original
1.5% TFA Coconut Extra
1% FA Vanilla TahitiTahiti
1% FW Sweetener
.5% TFA Cotton Candy

You can increase the Vanilla Tahiti to 1.5% if you want more vanilla and nut flavor but it's not going to gain a ton of nuttiness above 1%. Vanilla Tahiti has "tropical " undertones which will compliment the coconut nicely and it also has almond undertones. I personally would toss in FA Nut Mix "to taste" starting at .25% and going up from there if you need more.

Hey everyone! I've been trying for awhile to figure out the recipe for MILK PLUS by bonzai vapors.

If anyone has any idea of how to make this juice Please let me know. I have tried many of my own variations but still don't got it.

how accurate is this recipe? @HeadInClouds - thoughts?
Looks interesting... Deadly Sin uses cinnamon danish TFA I believe but I've made it with cap cinnamon danish swirl. Cinnamon roll has similar notes but much sweeter. Suggest cookie... Obvious... Em is going to round it off and relax the cinnamon. Hope that helps.

Hey I've been trying to find a DIY mix that resembles "House of Liquid ( El Toro )- Cigarillos", anybody tried cloning this and come close any pointers would be great. Its such a great vape but at €8 for 10ml it starts to add up.

Because they are using tobacco leaves to make their own extract, you'll have a really hard time matching that with flavorings. You'd want to look to NET tobaccos, which is about as much as I (not a tobacco expert) can tell you.

Not to worry, cheers for the pointer I'll check out NET tobaccos, in the mean time there's more than enough recipes here to keep me busy.

Well TFA RY4 dble works for me..... and FA Cuban Supreme is a Great stand alone @ 1%. ( Dont let the name Cuban Supreme fool ya, its more like a light tobacco.. maybe vanilla like sweet taste.)
Both of these also lend themselves to slight adds that complement them, like a bit of Toasted Almond or AP (in TINY amounts! ).

What I find with my use of tobacco concentrates.......
All most all have a sweet spot percentage wise, and many over shoot when mixing. ( Then try to tame it with adds, and end up with Franken Juice ! ).
When using flavors to "enhance" Tobbys, it should be soft nudges with "soft" flavors... Not bold percentages with bold flavors.

Exceptions are when you throw the idea of "Tobacco" flavor out the window, and use it in something totally unrelated to tobacco.... like coffee.
You dont really expect to taste tobby in your mix, you want coffee...... but the tobby compliments the main flavor.

All just MHO.... YMMV....
:)
