So, I've seen some reviews posted on this new Mutant X rda from Indulge. Anybody have one of these yet? Thoughts? 9 drilled air holes on each side, supposed to be a cloud chasing rda.

It looks like it was made by Youde. The packaging, the description on the box, everything screams Youde.
Looking forward to getting it and putting a nice low ohm build on it. :)

I've only heard good things about it. I don't know that there is a build that we can safely vape that can take advantage of all 18 holes well, but that's why the airflow is adjustable!
There's one thing that's for sure, that RDA is a monster, and a must have for any cloud chaser.

Is there a online store that sells the real deal? It seems like this has passed through a ton of group buys and I love the idea of a USA designed atty for under $30 retail price.

That's where I ordered from, I didn't get in on the previous group buys, and I'm kicking myself in the pants now. I've received no update from KoV on my order placed on Monday, just crossing my fingers they surprise me with mail soon.

EDIT - Scratch that, I was just looking through my spam folder for an email from work that I was meant to have received, and found shipping updates from KoV! USPS says it'll be here Friday, but everyone knows USPS lies.

This wonderful RDA atomizer indulgence mutation x is designed and produced by Shenzhen Unicig.it's very high quality made and machined from 304 stainless steel, doesn't leak/whistle, has a silver plated copper connection , posts are machined into the deck (and the center post doesn't spin), doesn't come with a stupid logo etched all over the side, and has EVERY CAPABILITY UNDER THE SUN!

It is the best looking authentic atomizer to come out in a while, the price point makes it a must have. I thought it was designed by US modders but outsourced to Shenzhen Unicig, I guess we were wrong?

hey man, it seems you are wrong, the authentic mutation x rda is made by Unicig, I got one, hummm it's terrific!!

I just received mine yesterday. Built a .09 dual Gplat macro coil in it to test the airflow (current setup is an Ameravape Manhattan with solid copper pins, and a sony VCT5) and wide the Mutation wide open, i was getting almost too much air!!!

The only con I have with this RDA right now, (which i think has been mentioned) is that the barrel isn't as snug as I would like it to be.

Otherwise, this RDA is a great value, anyone on the fence should probably buy it.

And it was designed well. Eskers chose a good company to make it too, the ones who bring you UDT hardware.
I have mine now, and it is phenomenal! I can fit 4 strands of 20 gauge wire through each post, and the AFC really is awesome.
MXcoil.jpg
My only complaint is with the tolerances of the o-rings, and that it doesn't fit a Chuff Cap. Both of which can be easily rectified, so those points are kind of moot.
Bomb.jpg
All points tallied, this thing is fan-fucking-tastic, and I'm dropping bombs and hammerheads now.

Broke a critical O ring on my first day. O rings are like spark plugs. They break change them. O rings I just toss.

So yea the Mutation X I initially ordered 3 of these things and when I got it and used one I ordered 2 more just got the second batch in.

Ordered directly from original maker Fogwind Company but recently ordered directly from the manufacture in China still yet to come in.

THE THING IS AWESOME!!! I don't care what anyone tells you opposite it's the BEST RDA under $100 PERIOD!!

Looks like a tobh with more air holes.
But after further inspection, I really like the design, nice drip well but not a bitch to build on *cough* omega. Huge post holes and evenly heighted posts.

I think the Congrevape Doge Competition may have something to say about that (for around $30). I wish the holes were a little more spaced out on the Mutation.

I picked a Mutation X RDA up off of an eBay pre-order for $26.99 shipped.

This was a very good price since the official pre-order was $25.00 shipped

It arrived today and since it was a holiday yesterday the tracking info showed it at the post office on August 31st (Sunday)

Not to shabby for an eBay vendor.
I have had great luck with eBay vendors in the past.

So this Mutation X RDA is great for clouds but the flavor is muted :(

I have tried different setups and adjustments and it just isn't a good balance between flavor and cloud production.

I did notice that if I close off 3 of the top holes I get better flavor production but less cloud production.
So it's a trade off. But very nice that it can be changed from a 1/8th turn of the airflow adjuster.

Even though I use Juice Mafias Cloud Collection juice in my RDAs (50ml's for $15.00? It's a no brainier!!!)
I still like the flavor that comes along with the juice.

I am glad I purchased this and I am running it at around 16amps, 5.5volts, .35ohms, 86watts on my 120watt Raptor Box and that is well below the maximum 120watt, 20amp specs that the raptor chip is capable of.

This is a really nice atty to have in your arsenal for when some chump starts talking shit about your weak clouds.
All you have to do is throw this atty on top of your box mod and it will shut them up for good!
:)

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the worst ever and 10 being the ultimate of all RDA's In my opinion this is a SOLID - 8.75 - 5150:)

Just got my Mutation X in the mail yesterday. So far I'm very happy with this rda. Definitely a cloud machine. I'm running a 0.14 24gage dual parallel and this things a beast. 6mg is too much for this monster! Post holes are huge. The well is deep and the airflow is sick as grits. :D

If you’re on a serious budget, but you want a cloud blowing machine – the Mutation X RDA is the atomizer for you! The Mutation X is an extremely unique design from Indulgence. It is all about air flow – and massive amounts of it.Now the mutation xl coming now ,28mm diameter with better drip tip.Come on,try it!

I just ordered the smaller of these from VaporDNA for $25. First time buyers get an additional 10% off. This should be fun :)

So I am not into sub ohms below 1. Would this still be a good atty for 1.2 to 1.5 builds? I like the look and the design. The biggest thing I like about it is the large holes in the posts so I can get the wire in easily. Since I don't go below 1.2 or so, am I just wasting my money on this one?

IMO, you would be wasting your money on this one. It has too much air flow for 1.2-1.5 ohm and up builds even with the air flow control. I would also go with a smaller RDA with a smaller air chamber. My $0.02.

I have this and the doge and honestly the mutation produces bigger clouds for me so far. Maybe it's because I haven't found a good build yet on my doge (probably my fault)

Mine came in yesterday. I have a dual coil setup at 0.28 ohms using 24 gauge Kanthal and I'm quite happy with the vapor production. This is the first time I've ever had a cloud chasing setup and the first time I've set off the fire alarm in my house from vaping
JC_doubleup.gif
. I agree with 5150sick that flavor is muted, but I was expecting that. Glad I bought this one.

I like that it is adustable. I have the CCI Militia, and you have to buy separate caps if you want different airflows.

Best of luck with it havok!
I think going to first try dual parallels with 26ga kanthal. Eager to try that wide ass open airflow!

The air flow control was what decided me on this atty instead of the Militia CCI franciscan. I thought I would probably want to grind the side of the skirt that restricts air flow to maintain the air hole pattern angle, but so far I have felt no need to do that. So far so good :)

I hear ya! My next build is being planned as a twisted 24 gauge dual at around 0.2 ohms. I've never pushed my VTC batteries that hard and it's about time, LOL. I find I get maximum vapor with the Mutant X wide open at 0.3 ohms but I know from reading that I'm not at optimum power for that much air flow yet.

She came in today and WOW! It sure can fog up a room! Loving the massive airflow too, makes going back to Zenith cyclops air holes a bit odd.

Built it up with dual parallel coils, 5/64 id, 5/6 wraps of 28ga kanthal. Meters out at .28 ohms

Its great having the deep well since it drinks juice like nobody's business!

Is that for a 18650, or a 26650??
You could still vape the hell out of it on a 26650. Nice recipes by the way... I had almost lost hope on the FA Coffee Espresso. Since I gave up tanks, including the Russian 91, I couldn't stand FA CE until I saw your recipe.

I've never been a huge cloud chaser, some people would argue otherwise, I mainly chase great flavors. I tend to fog up rooms easily and I like a warm/hot vape. What I consider warm some think is scorching. I'm ordering the Mutation X just to piss people off. That must sound horrible.:cool:;)

I do both..

if you raise your coils, you get even more clouds..
if you keep them low, you get taste..
so one of mine is always up and one is lower..
best of the both! :D

It is a beast of a dripper, Smoky. I've never actually seen a Doge in person, but yeah the Mutation X is cool cause you don't really have to adjust your coils for cloud chasing or flavor chasing. Yeah I keep my coils low except in one of my Stillares I have some dual nanos that are sitting high just because I wanted to show someone that if I wanted to blow clouds all the time what'd it would be like. I've never put one coil high and one low. I just have an atty for every flavor I make. If I make a new flavor I have to buy a new atty. :D Not that I need an excuse. :) Oh and I wrap my positive post with my inner tails so I don't melt an insulator. I haven't done it, but I can see myself doing it. Sounds like the Mutation X doesn't need it with the insulator on that thing. It's gonna be fun! ;)

If I did that, VC.. I'd have thousands of drippers :D

not sure.. think I want a whole new setup..
I like my 26650.. but it's just bulky.. thinking on a new copper mech..
i donated my old one to a new vapor, and well.. ;)

not sure.. still thinking.. maybe Santa might bring me a goodie :p
trying to be good, but boy is it hard lmao!

I really like the Ameravape Manhattan. It's a hard hitter and super thick. I want an FUHattan. I only vape copper mods at the moment. I traded off all the stainless. Partial to copper, but not full copper attys. And yeah you have a ton of recipes SB.

Same here. My main flavors are Creme Bruleé, Monster®, Raspberry, Churro, Banana Nut Bread, and when I'm sick I keep a Menthol Monster®, which I call my "Vicks Vapor Rub Vape". o_O I'm pretty set in my flavors and flavoring companies as well. Lol. I just made some eggnog for Christmas time. It's a little too much nutmeg, but not to the point I won't vape it! :D
