How to properly clean and dry heads?

I'm a budget vaper and need to get the most out of my heads.

For the last few weeks I've been using vodka to soak my heads for a day like most people seem to recommend. But I do not drink, nor am I 21. I was able to use vodka because I found some, but now I'm all out. I just got some 91% isopropyl alcohol and want to know if that's safe.

Some problems I had before included drying, because after soaking in vodka for a day, I would rinse the heads in water and set them out to dry for a few days. The problem is, my heads started rusting from sitting with water in them. So I'm guessing water cannot be used anymore for rinsing...

What is ask is : Is 91% isopropyl alcohol safe to use for cleaning, and will it evaporate and let my heads dry completely if I set them out for a few days without rinsing in water?

Yes and yes.

I would suggest you start building your own coils though.

I soak all of my stuff in alcohol. It may not be the right thing to do. But it dries quickly (within 30 minutes) and as far as I can tell, leaves no residual taste. You can let them dry for a few days if you want. But I really don't see the need.

I do make it a point to blow it out of the small openings. To insure it does dry quickly.

I have been rebuilding ever since I started on a CE5 actually, but now I have an Ijust 2 and it is nearly impossible to rebuild. I have a cheap RDA on the way from FT, but I just made this thread specifically for the things I neither have the time nor experience to rebuild.

I used to just run hot water over my coil heads, now I use a sonic cleaner. Never really worried about drying, I'd dab them with a paper towel but that's about it. I generally just leave them out to dry or toss them back in and start using them.
