Strange after flavor

Hi all,
Currently I use the isub g with 0.5 on 30 W with 50/50 vg/pg sunshine grey alchemy.
After every puff there is a small aftertaste. I donno how to put it in words bit sweet, bit strange...
I tried different clearomizzer and different flavors as well, seems the aftertaste is present.
I followed the instructions to prime the coil and took puffs also without firing the batt....
Any help will be apprichated.

Have you tried a 40/60 or 30/70 mix a high vg is generally preferred for sub ohm.

Hi, i only got 50/50 at the moment.
I want to try something else as well I'm in the netherlands and seems there is a huge selection to choose from.
Only problem I got is that I really don't know what to get. I love Marlboro flavor and menthol. Kinda stuck
Could it be related to priming the coil maybe?

Might try using less watts. Sounds like your on the edge of a burned vape. Welcome

Thanks for the welcome!! Tried from 20-30 same effect.
Will need i guess to experiment.

I hope this won't sound stupid. But I changed the tip to a different one and the Strange flavor is gone??
Kangtek mini pro 3 tip is simply nasty in my mouth vs the isub g large tip.
Can i be?

Sometimes the drip tip can make a difference if it's restricting the airflow. However, most likely your issue is the juice itself.

This may sound strange, some metals have a different effect on certain people. I can't use a Silver Mouthpiece on my Trumpet, or wear silver jewelry. Turns my skin black. That could count for the aftertaste of the drip tip. Just a guess.

I see, ok i like Marlboro reds flavor and menthol, (not tougher) I got sub tank and regular one
What should I buy? I know there are loads of threads here but I get lost.
Any quick recommendation?

ok i'd have to say theres your issue,every marlboro red i ever tried had a funky after taste

try out an "arabic" ,first one that comes to mind coz i vape it all the time

Loads of Arabic tobacco flavors, donno how they taste though.. And Arctic seems to be menthol. Looks nice
So for 0.5 I should get 70/30 vg/pg right?

Countrypami makes a good point. Not only can ones body chemistry react adversely to some metals, but a flavor could also be affected by metals alone or in conjugation with your body chemistry. I never could find a straight tobacco flavor that I liked and I tried a lot of them. I ended up using a sweet flavored tobacco, some of the dessert tobaccos are pretty good. The ones I tried had a god tobacco flavor but had a lite sweet undertone. I settled on vanilla tobacco which suited me fine but there are a number of other flavors to choose from.
I say suited me because after 1.5 years I am starting to dislike tobacco flavors and am on the hunt for a new ADV.

Fa shade is the only one I know is good and I have most. Fa shade 3% mostly tobacco hardly any flavor.

Exactly what I'm trying to avoid that sweet after taste.... I completely dislike that...

to me,,the Arabic is a slightly spicy ,chocolatey tobacco flavor

plenty of places have ,perhaps even your regular supplier too

You can but you may have to pause between vape to let the wick catch up.

I haven't ordered from virgin in several years now,but they use to add 10% water so it would wick properly ,give er a shot and report back
