Does anyone else have leaking probs with their velocity? Mine leaks through the indirect air holes.

Lotta flavor as well at .7. It took me a little while to find happiness. Hard pulls not much airflow. 23.5 watts about 60/30 wapewild juice.

I'm not having any leak problems, but I do say it's a hard one to get the flavor sweetspot right. The best I've found is a dual coil setup using parallel wraps with 27g Kanthal at around .6 with 55w

I have 2 Velocity's , I have run them in TC using Ti 26ga dual coil, excellent flavor. But I am shying away from TC for now.
Now have a Dual NiChrome80 26Ga 3mm 10 Wrap at .5ohm using Organic Cotton.
Make sure you are using enough cotton.
Some people say it should be a loose fit and slide back and forth with some tension.
I don't I make sure I get it tight enough to pass through when I twist the cotton, then untwist it
when I have it through. when I pull on it, it should be pretty tight fit.
I also put a little cotton on the deck, just enough to hold a little juice and make contact with the cotton running through the coils, under the coil, make sure there is a good clearance that runs under the coil and that it is clear of obstructions all the way around.
I see a lot of people try to pack the cotton in so that the coil rests on it. This has never worked for me. You want max air flow all the way around that coil.
If I can post pictures I will, just don't have time to right now.

On an iTaste MVP3.0 (30w) running at 30W. and an IPV 3 Li VR running it at around 32W to 40W.
I get good flavor, with a loose draw, about 3 or 4 full turns from fully closed AF Control.
All Indirect holes open as well, on both Mods, but the 32W to 40W is better.
But, you also have to make sure the coils are in the correct location.
If they are too high/low off the deck or too close to the air holes, that can be bad.
I get them about as close to the posts I can, and right in the middle of the screw holes.
Try lowering or raising the coil/coils. If dual coil make sure they are both firing equally.

One last trick for real good flavor off the Velocity.
Take a 510 drip tip with o-ring still on, Should fit perfectly in the screwed on drip tip,
not the adapter, although you might be able to use the adapter and get same/similar results. But try this first.
Only issue is that the Drip tip will fall out, it's not a fully snug fit.

What this does is concentrate the vapor into a stream, and it doesn't affect the airflow too much, a little, but not bad.

Also, make sure you don't have a case of Vapors Tongue.

Leaking from Indirect Air holes could be caused by a couple of things.

1.) over filling which will cause spitting
a.) bad coil build that is not tuned right may have hot spots casing popping, that can be mistaken for spitting from over filled, under powered vape.

2.) Vaping so much that condensation is building fast enough to cause it to drain out of the holes.
Clean it more often.

Try a dual Clapton coil in my opinion Clapton's are the best overall favor build there will be some noticeable ramp up time but definitely a lot of flavor rip trippers has a pretty good build tutorial on the Clapton here's a link

So, been vaping the Velocity today, and the TFv4, and holly crap, do I love the Velocity.
The TFv4 is good for going out, but the Velocity is killing it.

IPV3 Li VR at 35.5W

Build is:
Dual Coil
26Ga NiChrome 80
10 Wraps each
3MM ID
at 0.5 ohm

Hope this helps a little more.

BTW, I have tried Clapton in this atty and 28Ga Twisted Kanthal.
I personally liked the Twisted single coil better. But this build I have above is even better.

Does the TC work with the nickel coils compressed I just can't get them spaced and built

FYI: For those of you Velocity users annoyed by the endless ejuice condensation seeping from the upper bell, it is easily solved with aluminum tape to cover the indirect air flow holes (most flavor chasers never use them). Worked the trick for me. It can be applied directly to the outside of the lower cap section to cover the holes with a 4mm wide strip. The tape is very thin and doesn't even contact the upper bell cap when it's re-installed, in fact I added a second layer of tape. Pic below. Basically, blindfold the robot!

Right now I junked my 26 gauge build for a dual 24 9 wrap macro coil, 0.4 ohms and vaping it at 42+ watts. Direct airflow 1/2 open.

make some nice tight coils, torch 'em then put them back on the rod and space them with your thumbnail. Easy with 26 gauge.

Thanks for the tip. I was getting tired of the slop from this RDA. It's my first Velocity. Blindfold the Robot, Classic!

Trinity Glass top cap. Bought it for my TM but it fits the Velocity clone.

That's pretty slick. How does she perform set up like that?

Bigger coils that take up more of the chamber also helps with flavor intensity and vapor density...
Try doing Quad 26g 6 wrap/3mm ID coils, then start at 60w and go up to your preferred settings-where you feel comfortable and have the best experience. The velocity has a very large chamber and you wont have that intensity if you dont build larger or if you dont close it completely off.
Quad 24g 38g Fused Claptons .jpg

Im just showing you how they should be setup/look, not showing you that this is what to make...

Also some 4mm ID Dual Parallels or Twisted 26g builds would take up more space also and give the same result, just make sure your cotton is fluffy and tips just barely touch the deck-this allows for a better/straighter juice flow.
