Good morning fellow vapors

I am currently looking to get a uwell Crown tank and would like to hear some opinions on it before I pull the trigger.

I will be running it on an IPV3 LI that I normally run in power mode but would not be opposed to switching to TC if I can get the same quality vape

Thanks in advance

Theres a billion posts about this tank, 99% raving about it. I am one of the ravers, tank is amazing. Best tank i ever vaped. Doubt you'd regret the purchase. .5 coil shines around 50 watts and .25 around 65 (for me) and the nickel coil does well too. Tank is well made, doesn't leak and topfill is great.

Your gonna really like the Crown..
I liked it so much I now own two of these awesome tanks... The top fill is really cool and the ss coils produce clean flavor and good clouds. I run the .25 at 60-62w ...its a killer tank...you'll love it!

I normally vape my Aspire Triton at about 75 watts and get an amazing vape I wonder how it will do around the same wattage

Best tank I've ever bought (well, I bought two!), and the only tank I seem to reach for. The SS coils are so good it makes me wonder why I got so excited about TC! But for most of the coils you need at least 60-80 watts to get any performance, so I'll have to pull out something else to use on my lower-powered mods.

Unashamed fan boy. There might be other tanks that have a feature you like. There might be others that are as good... But there is no better tank right now than the Crown. I bought two. Threw my others away. Just no point. Had to get a DNA just to try SS in TC. I'll run my other in power. The nickle coils are better than Kanger, but not as good as the SS. Once you try the SS, you just can't go back. If TC for SS turns out to be no big deal, we'll then I bought a mod I really don't need. Cause I'm not putting the SS coils down.

No worries about the power I currently vape an IPV3 LI at about 75 watts

After the good things I've heard here and read and saw online I think I am going to pull the trigger. Other than fasttech.com any other suggestions on where to get it online a local shop has it for 35 but wanted to see if I can do any better online

That's a very reasonable local price. Seriously. Just get it. A couple places have serious bargains for like $16, but you have to be real quick with the mouse. They go as fast as they come in. On line generally is 30-35... So do your B&M a favor and support them. That's a very fair local price. I paid $45 local for one... But I'm impulsive. :)

Keep a sharp eye on ecig.com, got my black Crown for $18.45, stainless for $16.45. They are supposed to be restocked this Wednesday or Thursday.
Good luck!
BTW, The black finish is electroplating, no powder coating or ceramic crap.

Broke down and bought another crown from someone on this forum, so count me in the "gotta have 2" crown owners. Giving away my arctic and now will only have to buy one type of coil.

I just bought a second Crown Uwell today. The tank is good and the prebuilt coils are the best I have ever used. I have the nickel coils on both my sigelei 75w and my sigelei 150w. My poor castigator is looking lonely on the shelf with the new dripper.

OK, OK I have done it, I have 2 Crowns the black and the stainless.
I swapped the tops and bases between the two, the first two tone Uwell Crown's.
Thank me later!
Step it up one more, swap the tips.

If the local shop has it for about $35, PLEASE go support the local business! That's what helps keep businesses alive!

I totally love the crown tank got one with my Sigelei 150 and I have no regrets at all, tank doesn't leak and I get nice flavor and a really nice amount of vapor using it at around 65 to 70 watts ... Now, I do have a question ... Is it true I can just use my Sigelei with the pre-made coils in power mode? (I'm pretty new to the whole box mods and tc, so I haven't tried to use it with the TC mode Cus I don't want to damage a 5 day old mod)

Yes, the SS coils should be used in power mode on the Sigelei! If you had the Ni200 coils, then you would use those in TC mode.

Thanks, do you by any chance know where can I get the nic200 coils online?

I have 2 Crowns as well, love these things! I switch back and forth from the Crowns and the TFV4's and keep going back to the Crowns. Just something about the flavor these tanks provide is unreal. My tritons have been collecting a lot of dust as well since the Crowns arrived.

What drip tip would you recommend for this tank? I'm using mine on the IPV 4s and I LOVE IT!!! My ONLY issue is that the drip tip gets unbearably hot and I need to find one that is more heat resistant that fits on the tank (preferably with the same amount of airflow)! Please help thanks!!!

I use the Uncrustable from VapoShark, Teflon coated stainless steel, delron insulated, available with 2 O rings to fit the Crown, bigger bore than the stock Crown tip.

Best tank I've used so far. I have 2 of them and run the stock coils, 0.25 & 0.5, and have rba sections for both.

I just got this tank in!!! OMG the flavor and vapor is insane!!!!!!!! I went from the ISUB G Tank (.2 coils on it gave me dry hits every pull longer than 2 seconds) now I'm vaping 80-100 watts NO DRY HITS!!! Great suggestions guys I am in love with this tank!

Does this drip tip get warm at all? Or does it stay pretty cool at even 80-100 watts vapes?
It will get a little warm chain vaping or at high watts or temp, but really not bad at all, I love that it will not gunk up at all, overall it stays cool.
Hey I have three of them.

Great! I use these drip tips on all my tanks, but you may want a larger bore:

ok heres a question
we all know crud builds up on the drip tip fact of life

if this drip tip repels crud as it states....where does the crud go?

Stays stuck to your lips, get a napkin.
It will get some moisture in the bore, but nothing sticks, q tip it, no alcohol needed.

Well the crud on sticks to the inside of my drip tips..Every 50mls of juice or so I use a couple q-tips and a little alcohol to clean them out... winds up as black crud on the q-tip... Sounds simple, and it works! Lol

Pulled the trigger on a Black Uwell crown & box of .5 coils. Can't wait to try it on my Sig 150 tc. Does anyone know how the airflow compares to a Triton tank?
