I don't get it...This idot admitts they know nothing about the subject they are writing on, and blithely says their stupid assumptions, bigotry, and ignorance is firm ground on which to base LAWS.....why not just use the I-Ching or reading animal entrails as a basis for legislation.....The other thing I just don't get is how peiople feel they have a right to go into a private bussiness that another person worked and sacrificded, and is gambeling their life savings on, and to dictate to that person that there bussiness should be run according to what they want.not what the owner and his customers want.

while the autor is an idiot it points out an important thing

MANY do not know what vaping is.
They know cigarette smoke is bad., We've been told that over and over again. Second hand smoke is bad. cigarettes are bad. We all agree on this.
The market labels them as E-Cigarettes.
They put out vapor which to most looks like smoke
So its not a big logical jump in many people's minds that if it looks like a cigarette and is called an Electornic CIGARETTE,and you blow out what looks like smoke, it may be bad too. The average non smoker is not going to do the research to find out the difference. They have better things to do with their lives.

And contrary to what some say, vaping leaves an odor. Sure its usually one many find pleasant. But I worked one place and a sub contractor who came in on a regular basis would walk in and blow his vapor out, and I hated it. It was some french vanilla espresso thing. I did not like the smell of it and it lingered for 5-10minutes in the room after he left.

I DIY a black licorice flavor. My family does not like the smell of it. SO I don't use it much around them.

SO we can't assume that just because we think our vape smells great that everyone else agrees.

Its like perfume and cologne. My son loves Axe...it makes me gag

Vaping in bars should be considerate of others and not all vapers are considerate. So there are legitimate issues that this dumb ass brings to light

The way the article reads, the author is nothing but a zealot who has no one to beat on except vapers. There are way too many zealots in this world who try to force their views onto you. Religious, Political, Social Warriors. They all want you to believe as they do, and do as they do. Fuck the zealots and their PC enablers.

I think it might be an attempt at satire, but it's so poorly written that I can't tell. Also the site it's been "published" on is called ctBoom. If you read the about page you'll find out that this brilliant pile of excrement was started by Kevin Begley, who apparently is some c-list CT celeb who thought Connecticut citizens needed a crappy assortment of poor online journalism. In his own words:

"Kevin and a few people above his pay grade at Connoisseur Media Connecticut decided that our state needed a place for everyone to read, watch, and yell about Connecticut. Wacky stories, news, music, sports, culture and everything in between"

Don't get me wrong, I don't like the article. This just goes to show that anybody can be an online journalist. Anyone.

i wish more people were like you

it drives me crazy to see people vaping like its no big deal and blowing tons of vapor around at children's events. Maybe I am overly concerned about kids and vaping, But I look at it like this, vaping is a safer alternative to smoking, smoking is bad, I dont want to give off the impression to young children that vaping is something they should do. Many people who smoke at say a childrens baseball game, go off to the parking lot, into their cars, behind the trees etc and somewhat hide themselves from the kids, while vapors sit in the stands blowing vapor all over the place. Kids see this and pick up on it and tehir little minds will make the incorrect assumption that smoking is bad and something you should hide while vaping is ok.

You are exactly CORRECT!
Yes vaping is a lot safer than smoking, but you all have to keep in mind is everytime teens see someone blowing clouds, doing O's it gives them the impression that it's OK to vape everywhere plus when they see the clouds, u here them say WOW!!! we have to be responsible in our actions we have to be conscious on where we blow out clouds, and we have to be respectful of others.
I vape mostly in my house, car or smoking area, but I stay away from smokers cuz I can't stand them!!

I agree but on the other hand you have these social justice douchebags nazis that go into hysterical facial ticks if they see a toodlepuffer eight blocks down the street, and raise their kids to hold their noses and run past you like you're spewing mustard gas....and scream "stranger danger stranger danger"...pedophiles are treated better than vapers and smokers.
I think as a society we have to face the fact that the emotional and psycological disturbed are given a legitamcy that isn't warrented......in a more civilized time the would have been told to fuck off and get a life.

I get all those points and considered them.

The stupid starts flowing when this dude is a OK with going out and getting pissy drunk in public but at the same time he doesn't LIKE some of what others in the same BAR as him are doing.

See article by same moron: http://ctboom.com/where-does-connecticut-keep-its-drunkest-citizens/
"If there’s one thing I know about Connecticut, it’s that we drink.
We drink 4th most in the nation a lot. And when we hit the bottle, we hit it hard"

So HE WRITES A STORY about how he couldn't be bothered to do a half hours worth of research (he's a fucking journalist! research IS HIS JOB!) in order to become educated or EVEN WORSE HE DID the research but doesn't like that he saw Vaping to be at least 95% safer than smoking but decided to blast it anyway.

Either way it's 100% clickbait bullshit and people like this should just not go out if they are afraid of "could be's" and "maybe"s" while their out getting shitfaced.

I am way more concerned for when the bar closes and this asshole figures out he needs to get his car home.

ok stealth vaping is one thing. if noone sees or smells it, i aint go tissues, just really hard to do tha for me any more with sub ohm
]

I can't discretely vape anymore. Like nobody's going to notice the low pressure system emitting from my face.

I vape in my house which I never used to smoke cigarettes in, but do smoke hookah and maybe once or twice a winter a pipe.

My wife is not the hugest fan of me billowing my sub-ohm vape clouds in the house, but is a HUGE fan of me not smoking cigarettes so she's going to have to deal with it.
