Im wondering how you guys install your dual coils in your rda. As far as cutting the middle lead on second coil inserted. I find that can be tricky somtimes cutting that lead as the first coil is in the way. Its to tight to get in their with wire cutters. So somtimes I pre cut which can be a pain. Or snap it off which can cause issues. Im wondering if the thin wire cutters like plato brand or the UD ones would be able to get in there. Ones i use are mastercraft but there thicker.

I install the legs (leads) through the post holes, center the coil tighten the screws a little cut the legs with nail clippers on each coil, ...it gets easier the more times you do it...

Lol thanks but thats not what i meant. Ive been building coils for months now. I know how to install them. Im strictly talking about how you guys cut the lead on positive post on second coil installed. Someone must know what im refering to. Its just hard to get in there to cut that leg specifically.

On a three post, I'll typically pre cut the wire or bend the lead up as I slide it in and cut it as close as I can, as long as its not touching anything I don't see any problems

I just use flush cutters. *shrugs* These things vvv

When cutting the inner lead on the second coil, I insert the rod back into the first coil and pull it as far out as possible while pushing it as far down as possible. I keep the rod in while I work the flush cutters into place to keep the coil from getting deformed. The snips just barely fit and there's not a whole lot of room to open them, but fortunately they cut through the wire with ease, so it's a quick one-and-done.

Before I had those, I used to place both coils at the same time. Before putting them fully into position, I would cut the inner leads. After that, I would push them up to where I wanted them and tighten the screws down, leaving a mm or two of wire sticking out of the positive post holes.

yeah use flush cutters and if the other coils in the way just push it outa the way then move it back after you've snipped.
