Gear best wait times???

Placed an order through gearbest about a month and a half ago and there's no update when i track the order and I also haven't received any updates when I submit a ticket. Anyone have an idea on how much longer I have to wait??

It's been a while for me, too. I ordered the Youde 26/32 Clapton wire on 7/26 and they said it was on back order - which is fine. It shipped on 8/11, and this disclaimer was in the email: "The package should normally take 10-25 business days to arrive (approximately). However, please understand this is an estimate. The shipping speed is outside our control and is dependent on the courier company". I never got a tracking number.

I ordered it because of an email from the Vapor Joe's Network using this link. Hopefully it will be here soon. The last time I ordered from GearBest it took exactly 3 weeks to get to me. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.

I hear more grief about them, than I do good things. I've only dealt with them once, had a good experience. Seems like a long time, though. My wait was only 3 weeks. Good luck!

Same exact story for me! Same product and same dates. Still nothing. I expect 2 weeks to a month when ordering from China, but this is ridiculous. If it were a more expensive order I would have already challenged it with PayPal. Haven't done that yet, but I give it till next week and then asking for a refund.

Yep...I ordered three things about a month or month and a half ago. One came after 3 weeks or so. The other two, kanthal twisted, still is a no show. There are simply too many other sources to settle for it...no more for me.

I ordered the same item. Making then myself takes too long. I've sent 2 emails within a week with no luck. I visit a shop in Costa Mesa and the guy wanted $20 for the 15ft spool of the same exact wire...

I started a thread like this about 3fvape.com. China vendors want our orders but so many people can't handle the wait time. We can live with the 10 days of shipping time but it ends up more than that even when products are in stock as it takes them so long to get our orders packaged up and sent to a shipper. I have alot of gear it's never a need but rather a want but I use china vendors as a last resort look all over the web first. Waiting on 4 different orders now from china...wait...wait..wait

I delt with GearBest only once and never again. They aren't shady but don't like to tell you when items are out of stock until after you have paid then the waiting begins. I was strung along for weeks with them saying "be a few more days" then after I sent a email stating I was wanted get a refund my parcel magically went into "pre-shipment" and I couldn't get a refund no more. I then waited another couple weeks till FINALLY a tracking number and sent through Netherlands post. I then waited 42...ya forty-two days while it was in Netherlands post before it even got to Canadian customs. I had to wait almost 3 months for my package and my prize for all the hassle was a big heart felt sorry and a 5% discount on my next order....not in my lifetime again ordering from them again.
I should also add that if you do decide to order then watch closely since I had items change price between the item lists and the checkout and I still had to pay the higher price in which wasn't very much but thats not the point.

I finally had enough. I did get a response from GB, but it just made me madder than I already was. The basics of the broken english page long response was that since I didn't pay for tracking I was SOL. Then they pasted their information that stated without a tracking number it could take 10-25 days from shipping. I'm not a math genius but, Shipped August 11 and today is Sept. 11!!!!! I filed a PayPal challenge! It's only $6 but now its the principal! I may never get my wire, but GB will never see another dime of my money. I don't care how good the deal is.

I saw that Joe posted this same Clapton deal again today. I was tempted to reply, but restrained myself. I am almost 2 months since GB said they shipped it. Still nothing except a very quick email asking me to rescind my Paypal challenge.

Yeah I wish I could tell them to not post it because of how long it takes to arrive, I don't want anyone suffering through this crap. Did anyone have the option to get tracking? Im pretty sure I never had the option

I honestly don't recall whether I did or not, but who would put out extra money for a $6 product? I have ordered a couple of other items from China (after my GB order), one from FT and have had them for weeks. This is ridiculous!!!!

If I were to place an order now, it would be shipped to The North via British Royal Mail

Well, some good news! No, don't get excited, I still haven't received my Clapton wire that left was SHIPPED on AUGUST 11. But, Paypal resolved the claim in my favor. At this point its certainly not about the $6. It's about the fact that GB thinks it is ok to have my money and just keep telling me I should have paid for tracking!!!! I've seen some great deals from them on vaporjoes in the last few days, but I wouldn't give them another penny of my money regardless of the deal!!!

I have an order from August 4th that I'm still waiting on. That's 7 weeks 5 days ago (54 days ago and still waiting!). I've made 5 other orders with GearBest that all came in much faster. My order from August 29th came in by September 16th (19 days). so they're usually pretty okay, but when they're slow MAN are they slow.

Ordered from cigabuy once no tracking, took like 5 weeks. Guess gb a bigger site with way more inventory and such should take a note from the little guy. I can deal with a month or so, but when it gets in to the 40 day mark I start to wonder what the hell is going on. Another china site I've used besides fast tech was efun, got stuff in like 2 weeks, got an order with them now actually waiting on. Never used gearbest but I have used a few other china sites with none of the multiple issues people say about gb. Guess who won't be getting my $ EVER.

Way before I started vaping, I had just started buying things on eBay. I ordered some screen protectors for a blackberry pearl from a seller in china. They never arrived. I emailed them, and they said they resent the item. Waited, still never came. At the time, I was unaware of PayPal's buyer protection. I decided right then and there I was never ordering anything from china again. I now pay the couple extra dollars and buy from U.S sellers only.

I do have a pleasant update on my GearBest order. I ordered batteries from them on September 18 and was already freaking out after reading this thread. But I was thrilled to get them out of my mailbox yesterday, a mere 19 days after they were shipped. I thought I was looking at a time frame of 3 months-never.....

Mine was sent with the free ship also, that's one of the reasons I was so surprised. But I also doubt I'll order from them again unless they're practically giving something away, lightning usually doesn't strike twice, ya know? Lol!

Well still hasn't arrived. Been half a week past 2 months, submitted a ticket a few days ago but haven't had a reply from them. I said I still wanted the item and am willing to wait but if they don't respond by next week I'll take action to get my money or something from them. Really wish there was a way to convince the owner of whatever on vapor joes to not advertise for gear best because its not helping his credibility.

Im with the others on the August 10 order for UD wire that no one received. You can politley open up a customer service ticket with them, since we are past the 60 business day rule, their should be some resolution action, but they only say could you please close this non delivery ticket so we can offer a refund or resend. Why would anyone think Gearbest would fix the problem after you close the ticket? Doesn't make sense.

I got a response from them telling me to refer to an old ticket to get my item or a return, however the ticket I'm supposed to use is closed and I need to log in to submit a new one.... Issue with this is that I use fb to log in and every email and password I use isn't valid or registered... This site needs to be taken down, its a pathetic joke of a discount site and as far as I'm concerned they're out to take peoples money.

Sent them a strongly worded email explaining how I'm done dealing with their "customer support system" and that if they can't contact me at my personal email address, that I demand a full refund and that I'll be spreading the word about how they're out to take money from their customers.

I don't think this was a good move. Personally, I would have disputed the charge with your cc company or PayPal. These folks may be swindling people out if money, but they're Asian and they do have a sense of honor and respect which you've likely now offended. I'm doubtful you'll get anything back unless you go to PayPal or your cc company. Even Americans don't like being threatened, Asians tend to take it way more personally.

As a "professional" company they'll do whatever the customer says to save their reputation. I've been very cooperative for the last few weeks but after closing every form of contact I believe I had every right to say what I wanted to say. It wasn't an offensive message but I told them they need to handle this now through personal emails and not their form of customer service. If I had a way to contact the owner of vapor joes I would make some sort of petition or something with other people who have used gear best and didn't get the items they ordered through his/her site for vape stuff, and try to convince them to stop supporting gearbest.
