Got my Coolfire IV on July 17th. It's been in rotation with a couple of Isticks, and quickly became my favorite. Was using it the other night. Things were going great. I set it down, and took a few pulls off one of my other devices. A few minutes later, I picked up the Coolfire, and nothing. Totally dead. Had three quarters of a charge on it when it gave up the ghost.

Have you tried removing the tank and putting it back on again? Tried plugging it in to recharge to see if it resets the device? Made sure it's powered on? Just throwing out some ideas.

Tried four different tanks. 'On' button on bottom is in on position. I've switched it on and off several times, and plugged it in numerous times. No signs of life.

Let it sit a week or so and see if it changes anything. One of my coworkers had the same problem, and he just left it alone for about a week. When he picked it back up, it was working again.

LOL. I'd smash it before I wait a week at a time to see if it's gonna hit or not every time I pick it up. I'm going to contact the seller and manufacturer to see what they'll do. I'm sure it had some kind of warranty.

That was going to be my next suggestion ... Hit it with a hammer, it will either work, or you will be very satisfied, either way it's a win. LOL

No worries from me, just wanted clarity for the sake of the thread. :)

I contacted both the seller and filled out the required form from innokin. Waiting to see how it is handled.

I hope it will work out well. I just got a "replacement" KX-50D from China that died over 2 months ago. While it took a long time to arrive, the good news is that the vendor (focalecig, can't speak highly enough about their customer service) and manufacturer (Kangxin, required a couple "troubleshooting" videos") did ultimately support me.

I've been exchaging emails with a girl named Brittany. I followed the steps she told me to, and mailed the faulty unit back. I just made the 90 day warranty cut. We'll see how it pans out.

I received my replacement yesterday. I find it odd, that in all this, they never apologized for the inconvenience, or claimed their product was a good one, and his must be a fluke, ect...They were very non-personal about the whole thing. Another thing I found funny is, I couldn't find the USB charger. You know, the little piece that they probably spend 20 cents on to include with the mod. Well, they actually untaped the box to the 'new' one, took that out, and retaped the clear box that the product comes in. I know fair is fair, and I didn't send the one that came with it back, but you gotta be shittin' me. I'm totally turned off by Innokin at this point. I'll give this one to a buddy and move on.
