Anyone else a fan of these? I just got one of these this week. I must say, it has already taken over as my favorite tank. I was swapping between a Goblin Mini and Billow V2 as my daily users. I think the Aromamizer beats them in flavor, vapor production and air flow. That along with the easy build velocity style 2 post deck make this thing king of the hill for the time being, IMO.

I got about 3 weeks on mine, it is really a impressive RDTA. It really delivers the flavor. Went ahead and ordered another one. Beats my billow V2 for sure.

Got it and compared to regular rda it is great. The optional velocity deck is the way to go imo.
Running Ti coils in TC and thoroughly impressed (for a tank)

Vapor DNA had them and they sold out in record time....steamcrave direct is ok but slow shipping might order one asap if they have them.... I feel since the recent review that ripp trippers did it will be like ordering the velocity...always sold out.

So you like it better than the Billow V2? Is there a large difference or?

Not any more than me trying to wick and coil my Billow v2. If this keeps up its going on the block.

Although I have seen people having trouble getting the wicking right on the RDTA, it's is a different type of tank than all others. Where the Billow and almost every other rta you have to draw the juice up the deck, then up the wick, making it more of a process. Where the Aromamizer RDTA is so different is there is really no deck to pull the juice up, The wicks sit almost on the bottom of the tank and there is no 1/2" tall deck to pull it up, it more less sits the tail of the wicks in a very shallow pool.

I would think the velocity deck would be easy with no hassles.

I bought one and it came with an Allen key that is too small!! I was able to get a build in it with much fussing, but couldn't get the right build on because the screws would get tight enough. I'm pissed!! Anyone know where I can get the proper hex key?

I want one of these but for the life of me I can't get past that rubber band and I'm thinking the airflow wide open will be too much for me.
I know first world namby panby problems. But hoping for a v2 I guess.

SS now, but with kanthal I was using the dame build between 45-55w
SS In tc lets it wick better.
I'll pm you how I build it, don't wanna hijack the thread

are you in the USA? they have a warehouse in NY for US orders. mine shipped rather fast. i think i received it within a week or purchasing it direct from Steam Crave website. mine came with the original 3 post deck in atty and I paid another $5 for the velocity deck. came to $48 and some change shipped. also comes with extra orings, screws, grub nuts and glass.

IMO beats the billow v2 in flavor AND vapor production. air flow is more open too.

i put in a new dual clapton 2.5mm inner diameter 6 wrap vertical coils coming in at .4ohm and it's working nicely. been vaping it at 40-60w with zero problems.

i did have a little bit of trouble wicking. now i use plenty of cotton and just lay it in the juice well. just dont stuff it in tight and you should be just fine.

havent tried ni or ti builds yet. mostly because i've enjoyed these last two kantal builds better than any ni or ti builds i've tried thus far.

another thing that some may find as a minus, this atty is 23mm wide. in my pic, you can see there is a tiny overhang. just ever so slight. can't notice when it's on my IPV4s or istick50w. can't even notice much on the SMPL to be honest. just thought i'd throw that out there if you are OCD

How is filling this atty? Is it a PITA?

24 ga kenthal, 6 wrap, 2.5mm, cotton just touching the deck, and not covering the juice holes, don't have cotton touching bottom of coil when bend your wick down to deck. my tails are basically laying inbetween the juice holes. Coil dead centered for the air flow holes, but again no cotton touching the under side of coil from placing them on deck, lets the air circle around coil. Flavor is incredible good clouds from MTL

I am in the states, took almost two weeks...packaging looked to be from overseas but who knows, wasn't a big deal but tracking was non existent and weird using the site from my account. But I have never had an issue getting what I ordered . I have had 3 orders and all were kinda sporadic. But no worries I just order and forget about it, then it's a suprise when I get it:)

This tank is a good one though been loving vertical builds on it lately they seem to wick and work a lot better.

Can this thing be laid on its side or will it just flood? I looked a bit at it but if it cant be laid on its side ill start having genny flashbacks.

Rip Trippers says if you build vertical coils and wick like he did, you won't have any leaks. He said he has laid it on it's side all day with no leaks, but your mileage may vary.

Ok cool. I guess ill check out his review even though his use of edit cuts makes a person almost go into epileptic seizures. Thanks for the reply.

At least he gets to the point, and doesn't take 1 hour on something that should otherwise take 5 minutes, like Busardo's videos. Rip figures you already know how to wrap a coil. The camera's and lighting he uses are excellent too. My son think his video's are funny. He's says "Dad, what does sick as tits mean?" Well son......

Honestly, I just got a Zephyrus and this looks so much better in so many ways. I'm going to have to pop for one to put on my HCigar DNA VT200 with some SS or kanthal dual clapton coils.

My question is, how does it do with high vg? I almost bought a big dripper till I read that it had some trouble with higher vg. I like to vape max vg, right now I'm happy with my rda and my orchid v2 tank, but might consider an rdta in the future if there is one out there that can handle max vg. I was disappointed about the big dripper too, as it can be used in tank mode or as a standalone rda.

So I went to my B=M this afternoon. Just got back. They had the aromamizer and they had the bellus. I took both apart and really examined them hard. Thr bellus is everything the goblin could have been ... nice albeit a bit cramped deck with great juice channels, top fill, very adjustable side air flow. The deck on tha aromamixer looks a bit easier to build on and is also top fill but I like the air flow and juice channels on the bellus. The bellus ios a nice two post velocity style deck. It is just a bit small so fancy coil builds ( twisted, fused, parallewl, clapton) will be tricky.

At this point it was pick and choose. One guy had bought the aromamizer and loved it and my friend came in with a belllus (that I had stuck some 24 gauge kanthal at .3 ohm in. I tasted both (with my own drip tip, lol). I opted for the bellus because I could take six or seven hard pulls in a row with no dry hirs at all and the flavor was excellent ( clouds were okay too).

So I bought me a bellus. I wrapped two coils - 24 gauge/6 wraps - just under .3 ohms and closed the air flow down about to 3/4 and set the watts at 37 ( this was after a bit of experimentation). I tastes great on top of my HCigar DNA200 ( at 37 watts, lol ). I vaped about a fifth of a tank of visions ejuice at the store. Ther HCigar battery barely went down.

We are truly blessed these days. I did like the aromamizer. But the bellus from my experiences today is on par. I had no issues wicking. I stuffed a lot of cotton through the copils and let it drop to the deck. I set the coils pretty high - air flow height - and close to the center positive. Wicking was perfect first try (although I had to make two sets of coils as the first did not sit well).

Now the aromamizer is definitely an easy build. Personally I don't mind. I build a coil to last a month or two so no biggie. But if you are one of those guys that likes to keep replacing coils often than the aromamizer might be better for you. I like the look and taste of bellus a bit more.

i had the gob mini, which was my favorite. and the aromamizer is better imo.

i've done lots of builds on my aromamizer now. i've done both vertical and horizontal builds. so far, my favorite is dual vertical 7 wrap claptons and my current dual 9 wrap horizontal Ti coils. i dont even use the air control band. still loving this thing.

i've never filled mine from the top. you might be able to unscrew the topcap and fill. but it's easy enough to unscew it with the base left on the mod.

Got this R(D)TA today and put in a couple different simple builds. Dual 26g nichrome80, 2.5mm 7 wraps I believe clocked in at .31 (max watts I hit was 65.5 before it started sizzling a tad). Vaped this for a couple good hours with the various air flow controls/rubber bands and I some what have mixed feelings about this tank. Got the same experience with a build of a dual 26g kanthal 2.5mm 6 wraps .37 ohms(50w almost always my go zone with this build).

The vapor production is top notch and zero spit back if you use the stock mouthpiece. It does fit all of my random 510s laying around so to get a little more flavor out of her I would put something else in unless spit back is something you need to worry about with your build so in that case, the tip is tits lol.

Overall I couldn't find a comfortable air setting for the flavor I get out of my other 'go to' tanks. I'm not really into chasing huge clouds but I like to try and live in both worlds. Nice thick clouds full of flavor. I could only get the huge cloud part when using this tank but I was really missing the flavor. I tried a lot of different wattage's but couldn't find that "sweet spot". So after all is said and done, I would give this tank a 9 for vapor production and a 6 for flavor on a scale to 10. I love the build deck and the juice flow system and hope to see this in more of these RTA's in the future!

Just my personal perspective and I am looking to trade this which you can find the thread in the trade area. But it is a damn good tank, just not really my style nawmean.

i feel like i get great flavor from the aromamizer. but i like an airy draw. deff not for mouth to lung vapers. i see you are trading your aromamizer for a billow v2. i really like my billow v2, but the main thing i don't like is the slightly restrictive air flow. for some reason, i feel like i get better flavor from the aromamizer than with my billow v2. different strokes for different folks.

I have not got this yet but it my next purchase and I had an idea I think might work for you or anyone really. The nice things about those vape bands for air control is it would be really easy to mod them. When I buy I am gonna buy a few extra 2 hole and then use my leather punch to make some different sized holes as I tend to like a little more restricted draw.

I know you can just close the holes off some but I have found with direct airflow that for whatever reason(and maybe this is mostly in my head) it seems like having a perfect circle just directs the air better as opposed to that off angle half circle. Its kinda like putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose compared to a high pressure nozzle.

Just a thought that might make a difference. I already have a couple leather punches here but you can pick them up on ebay for like $8 shipped and they can come in handy just having one around for odd jobs not related to vaping.

The closest I really got to what I was looking for flavorwise was a dual 22g build at .17, running at 95watts. But then I would rip throught a set of batteries in no time. The good news about that is the wicking actually kept up which surprised me. Im definitely a lung hitter and a wide open billow2 just seems to be about perfect for my needs. But again the Aromamizer is a damn good tank and maybe I didnt give it enough time to win me over but its all good :)

Funny how tastes can differ. I find the aromamizer ti produce perfect flavor and vapor. Not too hot, not too wet, not too dry, just perfect. I run it with standard coils nothing fancy at .34 ohms usually around 59 watts. Haven't experienced a single dry hit all the way ti 75 watts but don't care for the temp of the vape that high.

I'm with Adam. Tastes vary. I love my bellus - been vaping it at 45 watts with a .28 coil today. I keep airflow about half open. Good flavor. No dry hits. Easy to build at .25 - .3 ohm standard kanthal. Wicks exceptional - no dry hits. Fills easily if you close off the air flow - otherwise leaks.

I have just started experimenting with my new aromamizer. It is the mini version. I tried a .2 ohm build vaping at about 60 watts. Wide open ( hate the band). Tasted very good. But I need to vape it more - maybe tomorrow - to get a sense of it. Still early. Easy to build and fill though. Have not had it leak yet.

Any RTA that delivers decent flavor, has top fill and does not leak I'll use happily.
