Anyone try a yogurt flavor?

I am on a The Schwartz kick and they use yogurt in all of their recipes. I was wondering if anyone used the yogurt in their recipe and what the percentages looked like. i was thinking of trying to clone their "The Upside" which is a delicious strawberry yogurt

The recipe is was thinking was something like
2% FA Strawberry
1% TFA Ripe Strawberry
2% Yogurt

In their version I felt the yogurt was lacking so i think putting at 2% instead them probably at 1% would help bring that out

I'm interested in hearing people's experience with yogurt flavors, too. If I remember right, most (or maybe all) of them have diacetyl/AP. But I've been dreaming about vaping a mango lassi for so long now...

How can I deny myself this?

I have a yogurt flavoring, but have yet to try that. I'll need to remember that next time I mix. I see it could be highly used, but I try to minimize vaping the flavorings with "the bad stuffs" in it.

I feel concerned about these ingredients, too, but so far can't get any real resolve when it comes to the baddies. It was a big deal to me (i.e., I gave myself lots of gold stars) when I ordered almost all FA flavors in my original DIY purchase. But now I keep making exceptions. Right now, my personal rationalization of choice is that I should at least try out the original flavors for the sake of my learning process--for science, really, if you think about it. In a very specific and limited way.

And I want to be able to tell by smell, for instance, if something has diacetyl or acetyl propionyl in it, like people say they can do. Plus, I want to know what I'll be missing, exactly. I should at least take that into account (or so my reasoning might go...)

Unfortunately, the more I read about the risk/lack of risk/relative risk that might be entailed, the more uncertain and subject to rationalization my decisions become. It reminds me of that George Harrison quote: "The more you know, the less you know". Tho it's possible he did not mean it quite this way.

I will look forward to hearing any results if you do try for a lassi! I've made two small flavor orders since I decided I desperately needed mango, but in neither case ordered any because it wasn't available at the time/place I was ordering... so now I really can't justify getting it for a while. Or can I?! (Poor me and my first world problems, I know. Maybe I should start a gofundme.)

I have German Flavors Peach Yogurt. It's good. Tastes like peach yogurt. lol Go figure. There are a couple more fruit flavored yogurts...yes, strawberry is there on page 4 of Fruit Aromas. I'm pretty sure Kevin vets his flavors as much as he can...best bet would be to ask him. http://www.vaperstek.org/

Can you tell me the % you mixed that at? I see 7% is recommended. I've been addicted to Peach yogurt juice and would like to try making my own.

I just use CAP Creamy Yogurt + CAP Peaches & Cream.

PEACH YOGURT
5% CAP Creamy Yogurt
5% CAP Peaches & Cream
0.5% TFA Caramel Original
0.5% FA Meringue
0.5% EM (if you want more tartness, leave this out)

Or try CAP Greek Yogurt for more twang.
Heard FW Yogurt was good also...

You might be able to make one with FA Peach + FA White Peach + FA Yogurt, if your worried about the "baddies".
Haven't tried this as I don't have any FA Yogurt yet.

I have FA yogurt. It's awesome and spot on for yogurt but very overpowering. At .5% it's perfect for me. 1% works on some recipes but it really jumps, beyond that it's about all I taste so go low and adjust to taste.

I just picked up CAP Creamy yogurt. Anyone have a recommend percentage in a mix?

Yeah CAP Creamy Yogi is my favorite. It's great at 5-6% with any kind of bright fruit, or dark. You MUST add sweetner with it imo, and with Greek Yogurt even more to really balance out that disgusting sour note. I actually don't understand why people rather vape yogurt over anything like ice cream or milkshakes. I mean I understand eating it because of health benefits...but you don't gotta worry about that with vaping, so why not vape ice cream or something?

At 6%, quick heat the yogurt is right in your face. That "sour" note is very prominent. This CAP stuff is pretty damn good.

I've tried Flavour Art's diketone free Yogurt as well as TFA Greek Yogurt. So far, I still prefer TFA's. I haven't tried any other brands. I won't use TFA's above 6%... above that it tastes rancid to me.

12 hours after mixing. I can't put this juice down. It's a very realistic yogurt flavor. Added a little bit of EM as per Wayne's suggestion along with blueberry, vanilla ang Graham. Super tasty.

haha that is great man. and i almost agree with you. until i tried kilo kiberry yogurt i had no interest in the yogurt field. but i primarilly stay away from alot of different types. im pretty much a 100% dessert guy. but that yogurt did something else to me man. and my aresanal of fruit flavors is sub-par due to my own biasness towards the sweeter stuff. however something about that tangy greek yogurt really gets me. im about to start a massive yogurt expedition with all the differtent yogurts. have you had any experience or luck with mixxing two different yogurts. and im also looking to steer clear from the standard starberry mix. and i dont have to copy kilo to badly with kiwi strawberry. Do you have any recommendations. currently im leaning towards a raspberry/strawberry or a mango/strawberry. iv had some luck with sweet rasp by tfa. but its simply not up to par with the big brands. anyways i guess ill reiterate what im asking. and thats that do you have any recommendations on two fruits that you think would compliment each other nicely with a yogurt have you tried any. or do you think the strawberry solo is really my best bet.

Sorry to necro a older thread but is the sour not a good sour or nasty sour on those yogurts? Ive been looking for something to add with some cranberry and think the sour could add some nice tartness to it that the cranberry is missing.

Not a bad sour actually, at least it shouldn't affect the Cranberry flavor much.
If anything, it might be kinda like a Sour Cream maybe.
Others might work, like TFA Sweet & Tart Candy, Citrus Punch, etc.,but they might add unwanted citrus notes.
But it might not be a bad change anyhow IDK.

Thanks. I might have to try some. if I can do the cream and sour with one flavoring that would be pretty rad as the cranberry I have fopr me is really good and already sweet it just needs a bit more sour.

If someone blew his vape budget for the next few months, could I....ahhh, he mix custard with sour to make a fake yogurt or be better off waiting and try some yogurt flavors?

I dont think you would be able to get the custard gone. It would just taste like sour custard. I could be totally wrong though. I would think you would need some type of combination of milk/cream with maybe cream cheese and then the sour. Im sure someone would chime in but usually it ends up taking like 5 off the wall flavors.

I'm a fan of FA Dikeatone free yogurt. Not that I'm a Dikeatone free guy all the time, I just found it to be a good plain yogurt,a little Vienna Cream tones down the tart if using with other tart flavors.

@Superjeep That sour note is really the most characteristic aspect of a yogurt, and I understand if one wouldn't like it...I know I'm not a huge fan of it. But the best way that I'VE found to make it palatable for me while also keeping it authentic to yogurt, is to just add sweetener to really keep that profile under wraps. Sucralose is your friend with Yogi's

Hey lirruping. I saw your post and made up this version of yogurt, it's actually quite close to a Lassi. I'm pretty sure you can sub the pineapple for the mango, but if you have it, try it with pineapple :)

Pineapple vanilla yogurt
0.5% Bourbon (Vanilla Bourbon) (FA)
1% Cream Fresh (FA)
1.5% Pineapple (FA)
4% Yogurt (FA)
Flavor total: 7%

I used Cream Fresh to round up the acid edge of yogurt and Vanilla to counter the tartness of Pineapple. And I picked bourbon to be sure I was in the "deep" end of vanilla, so that it doesn't hit floral notes (like Tahity would).
Also - and that's for lirruping - I think that Vanilla Bourbon kind of emulates the "saltiness" of a Lassi for this recipe, because of the caramel accent.

The trick I found to not hit the sour notes was to vape it at lower wattage, (for me 25-27wtts)
At higher temps it starts to "burn" and the sour kicks in. I hope this makes sense to anyone.
