HIC's Bourbon Peach Pudding recipe: mmmm! super smooth and very flavorful

2% FA White Peach
2% FA Custard
2% TFA Kentucky Bourbon
1% FA Cinnamon Ceylon
optional 0.5% FA Honey

Made to shake and vape!

I recommend no flavor substitutions here. This tastes so good, it's worth getting any flavorings you're missing.

FA's superb White Peach flavor and TFA's Kentucky Bourbon are the main flavors you'll taste. They combine so smoothly, it's like they were made to go together. Custard makes it into rich pudding without smothering the White Peach or the complexity of Bourbon. Cinnamon Ceylon adds sweet spice. If you like honey-peach, include the optional honey; it's excellent with or without it.

I'm sure this would taste great at half-strength, too - but it's so smooth and peachy, I may never get around to trying that.

I like this so much, it may drive me to mixing retirement. Well, this one plus a 'few' other favorites.

I made this this morning and popped it in hot water for 30 mins or so. It's a little boozy for me LOL I taste none of the other flavorings except the KY Bourbon.... or maybe I do taste a slight hint of peach, which adds to the booziness :) Most likely my missing tastebuds again, but I'm going to put the rest of it away and revisit in a few days to see if I can taste anything else!

Hey Amanda, I thought it was Apricot that you couldn't taste. Both? Can you taste them in other brands - or in artificially-flavored candies, like Jolly Ranchers or tea/soda? That's just not fair.

I have another recipe in which I use white peach, and I can taste it in that one - but I think the percentage is higher. I don't eat candy, so I have no idea if I have trouble tasting apricot in those - but I can taste apricot fine in the real fruit and in some apricot drink I used to get. I may just need to play around with the percentages in this recipe - or just lower the bourbon a bit. As for the apricot, I don't think I've tried another brand - only FA.

Amanda, I can taste TFA Ky Bourbon at 0.5% and it's strong. After a couple days or so, it really calms down, smooth and mellow.

Yes, I use it in a Castle Long clone recipe, but I forget the percentage. And that recipe I steep in a crockpot for 4 hours. I'll check the percentage on that one and try that, but I'm going to crockpot it longer this time! It sounds like such a good recipe, I have to make it work :)

I had that one at 2.5% and even after the 4 hour CP, had to drop it down.

Sorry for the derail there, HIC...

You could use FA Brandy or FA Whiskey, but both are boozier than TFA's flavor. I think you'd want just 1% to keep the dessert sweetness. If a peach-cream cocktail sounds good to you (does to me!), 1.5% of either one. Irish Whiskey + peach, I'd vape that.

Hmmm, would ya believe I never vaped peach so no idea! My husband likes peach cigars so since I ordered pg/vg from bull city I thought I'd try some peach recipes out. Lemon didn't sound good to me, but my sister in law likes it...so I ordered some flavors and she fell in love with your lemon meringue pie and it is damn fine as well as your limoncello torone parfait and wllmcs lemon lime creamy something....I think that was what he called it! Ya all are opening my eyes past vanilla and clove! Im excited to try some cocnut vapes as well as Thunderballs white peach cocktail and Sullys sweet berry mash...and baked peach sounds good!

You're going to do a vanilla-peach-clove, aren't you...lol!

I have limited tolerance for peach flavors; I like peach best with a good shot of boozy something. Peach rum, peach Irish Cream, peach whiskey, peachy cocktails of all sorts... Would you believe I rarely even touch alcohol? But I love boozy vapes.

HIC I am in love! This is GRANDE! I can see a smoker quitting vaping this! Tried your Apple-Pear Frangipane last night. Very good too. I did get marzipan & so much more. I haven't even mixed up the DJ rum...having too much blessings with you all's recipes! Gotta work on my Tahiti pomegranate cream now...but the consistency of it. Reminds me of your frangipane. But no cinnamon...don't know if that makes sense or not! Going to T balls peach cocktail & WLLMCs banana coconut pie & Huckleberrieds golden Oreo next! OH YEAH! And Sullys Jays caramel Apple. Not enough time...must vape faster!

You know, I get it....I rarely drink...don't care for most alcohol & my cousins brew their own beer! Smells like a skunk! But things I don't eat I love to vape & vise versa ....But their Apple pie shine...So damn fine a shot in hot Apple cider on a cold night in a hot tub gazing up at the country stars....the spices I told you about...cinnamon, ginger, orange peel, cloves, allspice, vanilla bean, black & pink peppercorns...they soak it in these spices for 2 days before draining through a cheesecloth. If u got these spices handy try soaking them in Apple juice for 2 days, strain, heat up a cup! I guarantee you'll fall in love....Great winter drink...you can even put a shot of everclear or bourbon in it and you'll still love it! I really enjoy the peach in bourbon...wasn't my thing standalone.

You mean for clove flavor? I've forgotten what you needed clove for, but you know FA has one, right? It's good for bakery stuff, like their Cinnamon Ceylon is good for bakery cinnamon. That DJ Rum is kretek-like; I taste some nutmeg and (???) with it, but I like it.

This is very good HIC.
I made a couple of bottles so that I can give one to my Son and his fiance for Christmas.
I have only just begun using FA flavoring and hope that the flavor doesn't fad after a long steep.
What % do you recommend FA Custard as a stand alone base flavor.

Around 3% standalone.
Here are my notes all about FA Custard: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/my-notes-on-flavourart-custard.12017/
( flavor notes are here now: http://www.hicsmixes.com/notes-etc.html )
You'll notice it's smoother/creamier after sitting a couple days, but these are some strong flavors that won't disappoint you by fading away if it sits longer. I hope your son and his fiance enjoy it!

Mixed this up last night. After a shake/vape, I was worried this was boozy for me, and as my first experience with FA custard, I was surprised by it's TH at 50/50 and it's unmistakable citrus undertones compared to cap VC2. I got a lot of creamy citrus booze and the white peach is a touch perfumy after mixing imo. My last white peach mix took several days to get juicy so I put this on the shelf, optimistic...

12 HOURS LATER ... wow! The booze provides a nice boldness to the creamy body without sharpness and that peach is so complex, it weaves into the big body from top to bottom. edit: the booze sweetens the white peach in a round way. I also opted for the honey and it's all new to me so I can only speculate.

My experience has been that white peach's profile changes for the better after 5 days (I've read it takes a month for peach to reach its final profile but never waited that long), so while I like this after a night's rest, I expect I'll love it with some time. I'm hoping the citrus mellows out... Even If I have to tweak the custard down a notch for my taste (I want slightly more peach and less citrus, maybe time will fix) this recipe is a keeper, what a great mix of flavors!

edit: This is my first experience with Cinnamon Ceylon FA as well, and I had completely forgotten it was there (or thought it was a faint booze spice note) until I glanced at the recipe again, and I've been chainvaping this for the last hour. Coming down from Cinnamon Coffee Cake by Cap SA mixes, which has a weird sensory effect (alcohol based), I'm thrilled to find a cinnamon that can play along nice.

Made this (without the honey). For me it tastes exactly like described in the OP. Love it. Thank you HIC for the recipe. Think I should no longer bother to make your recipes in 10 ml tester volumes.

Should i use TFA Brown Sugar or FA Maple Syrup instead of FA Honey at an equal percentage ?
Whatever sounds good to you. I wouldn't like maple in it, but maybe you would.
