Hello everyone I have a good friend that recently made the switch from smoking to vaping, but is a type 1 diabetic. I personally have very little knowledge on the subject of vaping and diabetes but was asked for a few vendors that make/carry eliquid that is "safe" for diabetics. He's been vaping sporadically because he's told me that some liquids he's tried has had an adverse affect on his blood sugar. Again if anyone can shed some light and/or possibly vendors that carry diabetic friendly eliquid it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, there are juices out there that have sweetener in them which would break down into sugar in the body. I would recommend an all natural juice with 0 added artificial flavors. This may help. Maybe even a CBD juice would be better for him. I know BadModderFogger is all hand crafted and natural and damn tasty too. Have him try them out.

I have a diabetic friend who vapes - the only thing that affects her BG is the nicotine leve, which she had to reduce. SInce natural sweeteners are not used in ejuice (it would gunk up the coils) that shouldn't be an issue.

I believe that pg can also effect your blood sugar levels, something about the body converting it into glucose. Sorry don't have time to track the article down. but google pg and glucose and I'm sure you'll find something. Also it would probably be best if he mixed his own liquid or had a vendor he trusted enough to be honest. Things to avoid extract wise would be Cotton candy, Sweetner and cappella flavors that are sweetened with Stevia (not sure if the last one effects blood sugar levels, but to be on the safe side avoid all sweetening agents.). TPA is a good source for extracts since they have the most transparent MSDS sheets and almost all ingredients are listed besides a rare few which are classified as industry trade secrets.
