Thoughts on upgrading from a IPV3 Li to a DNA200

Is it worth the extra $150(the difference between selling my ipv3 Li and owning the VaporShark dna200D) I know they are both 200 watts, but one I think the build quality may be better, and from what I've read the DNA200 is better than the YiHi sx330.

But again my thoughts are speculative at best, and would like some input, I need to make up my mind by Monday, as they will ship on 8/24

I wouldn't be in any hurry, there will be no shortage of VS dna200 devices, and more seem to come out weekly of various brand mods.

So far there is

Opus
Vaporshark
dozens of high end mods, and dozens of lower end hammond box type mods like Vaporlips
Several 3d printed do-it-yourself mods
Cloudmaker Whiteout (soon to be released)
Hobo (soon to be released)
Hcigar VT200 Box
LavaBox by Volcano (cool looking box @ $169)
Hana Modz
Boxer Mods
Militia Mods
Steam Monkey Vero200
Cigreen Svip 200

I'm sure there are more

Really like the abilities and look of the VaporShark DNA200 but just can't see myself using a MOD that is not really designed to simply slap in some freshly charged batteries rather than charger then in the device. Just my opinion :)

hmmmm no it is not worth it to do it.. For me man I would keep the LI I have both DNA 200's and two LI's I use the LI just as much if not more than the DNA 200 I use the DNA 200 right now as my massive power kicker for RDA's and i use the LI mostly for Tanks in the 60-90 watt range.. I like them both but for different reasons.. the DNA 200 is great for TC much better if you are into Stainless Steel 304,316 etc but... for everyday use on a tank you cannot beat the LI .. :) do not trade up its not really something I would consider

Well at this point I own 6 different mods one of which is/was a recently(5 days ago) purchased vaporshark dna200. My daughter just knocked it off the counter....and now it doesn't work. I realize these things aren't meant to be dropped or treated roughly but I've dropped every other mod I've owned from that high or farther in some cases and slapped the batteries back in and was good to go. Hopefully vaporshark has a remedy for this but at this moment I can't recommend the vaporshark based on how fragile it is.

I second that !
Pre-ordered one myself and am still waiting for it to ship because I took a long look at the available info in order to make up my mind on this device. Did some research on the DNA 200 chip and was blown away by the operating environment and future potential. It is important to remember that the DNA 200 chip is just that, the chip that runs the device. It is the heart & soul of whatever DNA 200 device you buy but the hardware (device) that the chips resides in is just as important in building a quality product. I have read similar reports of the VaporShark DNA 200 being over priced and being of light weight and more susceptible to physical damage from even minor drops and knock overs for what it costs. Not trying to bash the VaporShark, some probably prefer the light weight device and by most reports and the overall reputation it is a good device.
