Best Sub Ohm Tank for the IStick 30

Holiday money is kinda tight, I can't upgrade my mod just yet but I wanted a sub ohm tank. I know I need to upgrade the IStick as soon as I can. But is there a good sub ohm tank that will work with just 30 watts?

My eLeaf Melo works great on the istick, and can be found for under $20. Not sure how subohm, I use the .5 coils at about 26-30W.

I have some Innokin ISubs that work well on low wattage with the .5 coil. They are just the cheap plastic ones but they also have Pyrex for more money. I think I paid around $10 a piece and bought 4 of them to keep different juices in. I have never had problems from any of them. My son and my wife both use them as their daily tank. Coils are inexpensive too. Since you are on a budget, they would be a good choice.

I have an iStick 30W as well and have been using the Kangertech subtank mini 18mm. I'm thoroughly impressed with this tank and the coils it comes with. I properly prime all my coils and have been able to stretch their life even while running constant 30W to 1 1/2 - 2 weeks before they start tasting burnt.

I think the tank does not matter as much as the coil. A lot of the more popular sub ohm tanks are making, and some times including, coils that are built for lower wattages. It works out well if you you decide to start using more power in the future.

I've been running a Subtank mini on a istick30 for weeks. I found the Subtanks on sale for $21 and bought two. I recently upgraded them with the top fill tank gizmo for $6 each. I run the occ coil (.7 ohms) at 24 watts. Love it. I run the other on a istick50.

Very much this, your coil is what does the work, the tank simply tweaks and tunes what the coil has done. The tank matters of course, but point is make sure to choose the right coil for the tank, and make sure the tank has a coil for your needs. At 30w you're going to want something .5Ω to .8Ω IMO. I run a .5Ω coil on a 4.2v Aspire subΩ battery, it's very nice (according to Ohms law at max charge that's 35w, but realistically it's probably like 3.something volts so around 25-35w as I charge it full every night and only use it sparingly). When I had a .3Ω coil in there it was terrible, 1.5Ω and it basically did nothing. Gotta get the right coil for the right power.
