Has anyone tried the mutank or the crius v3. I wanna try one of those on the rx200

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have the V3 CRIUS and is friggin awesome!
Really love that tank.
I'm actually using it and liking it more (with my own twisted and Clapton builds)
Than my TFV4 tanks!
Vaping Walrus has them right now for $30 shipped.
Try it out.
I doubt you'll be dissatisfied.

Here's mine:

Mine is at 400 with the same coil and tank, it does the same thing but if I keep the fire button pressed it works fine, I know it's not ideal but it works

I think you power it down, then from there 20 clicks shows you what firmware you are running. I believe you can also hook it up to your pc and the updater software displays what firmware version you are on. I don't have one, but I do believe that's what I've read.

Cheers,
Steve
Right you are @Wingsfan0310! Power down and twenty clicks worked like a champ. I'm still running 1.07 and I guess I'll stay with that since it appears 1.08 has some bugs. Excellent reading comprehension and information retention Human! Thanks, Go Caps!

Received mine yesterday, along with another TVF4. I've been running another TVF4 on am istick 100 and really like it. I didn't buy the TVF4 kit this time, just the single unit. It came with a .26 coil in it. I installed the batteries, and put a half tank of juice in it, primed the coil, and put it up to 50 watts, which is what I run the istick at. I think I took maybe three 'hits' and the tank was empty. Gonna need to increase my juice making, lol. Feels kinda big in the hand, which I knew it would. I remember not long ago when my istick 50 seemed huge. Now it's one of my smallest mods. I like the 200 so far. Hits very nice. I like the TFV4 too, although I block off most of the air channel, and totally block off the channel in the drip tip.

I installed a drip tip from one of my old Arctic tanks on my TFV4.. At 75w with the triple coil and airflow in the base cut about halfway is perfect..didn't like that adj stock drip tip from the get-go, lol

I was having the same problems with Ti & SS in temp mode. Plugged my Rx200 into my comp & found out that my firmware was 1.03. Updated to 1.08 immediately & problems gone! Temp mode works fantastic now.

So people using temp mode, a firmware update will more than likely solve most of the issues you're having. Before my update I was thinking what a piece of shit this thing is lol

This time last year I had decided I wouldn't buy another mod unless it had stainless steel 510 threads and a spring loaded positive pin. Many mods were still using chromed brass threads and fixed pins. Complete garbage. Now most mods come with a proper connector. I think I've decided on a new requirement for mods I'm considering. Updatable firmware. Really glad they included that feature in the rx. Seems like it makes it possible to turn a brick into a gem. Just some rambling thoughts.

Are you saying the RX indeed has SS 510 threads? Was wondering about that myself..thx

I'm pretty sure it does, but you can tell by simply looking closely at the threading. They certainly aren't aluminum and ss doesn't look like plated metal. If I owned one I could say for sure, but I haven't been issued my vape gear allowance by my wife in awhile. ;)

Imo this is hands down best mod out right now bang for buck. Above is my black one with black and red sleeve. My teal and white rx should be here this week. I would never buy anything from angelcigs again. They have the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. But go to vapenw if anyone is looking for a rx

Question on the Wismec Rx200- spec sheet says the mod requires 25 amp discharge batts.

Continuous or pulse?

You may need vtc4's with a 25a continuous if your firing at 200w but 20a is more than fine ~150w or so and thats enough to fire just about anything.

How many people can pull a drag longer than 1 or 2 seconds anyway? Maybe with a mech that takes longer to get up to temp but the newer high watt TC mods are clouding in less than a second.

My Samsung smurfs have been working fine as well, but 50w is generally around the top of my vaping power preferences. Lazy & snake, be aware that some folks have found that version 1.07 works better than 1.08...at least in some TC setups & circumstances.

How does the RX 200 stack up to the the Reuleaux with the Evolv chip? I am loving my ginger vapor boxer with the DNA 200, but I would love second dna 200 based box with a little more run time

I'd get an RX, and wait until Evolve lowers the price of their chip, then put it in the RX. If you think you still want to by then.

That was my original plan. At this point, the DNA chip would have to awfully cheap for me to consider doing that. and yes, it is an easy conversion.
