Oh, and it's EXTREMELY comfortably to hold.

I like it. But it has limitations. The batteries are in series, so the wattage can be limited. The build I just posted maxes out at 87.5 watts. It won't go any higher.
I've heard about the 25A limit, I figure super low builds are for a mech anyway. The size is what got me, and that perfect screen.

I'll take pics with a macro lens, then look at it on the computer, and be like,"Where the fuck did that (hair, cotton fiber, fleck of dry skin) come from???". And spacing issues. There's more, but I just woke up. Yes - coffee, cinnamon danish vape, and VU are my morning ritual...

I usually have to read all the threads I check twice in the morning because the first time I'm just not awake enough lol

So I finally got a staple build down after getting some Kidney Puncher N80 ribbon. Fraple alien! 2x26 N80 frames, 5x.4 N80 ribbon, 32G N80 alien Clapton. Had one little gap and it bothered the hell out of me lol. Came out good for my first real try at ribbon.

You might wanna give it a little more airflow underneath the coils, though.

Tried blowing it off with some compressed air before taking the pic?

No, just move the cotton out from underneath them. Maybe even trim it back a bit.

Okay, what exactly will that do to help? I'm relatively new so I'm not sure how the changes will really affect the way it vapes

It will give you the airflow needed to create a much better vapor - both flavor and vapor production. The ends of your cotton should just reach the bottom of the juice well, or maybe just a tiny bit longer.

Definitely is hitting better! The taste is close to the same, but it seems to be smoother overall and I definitely will be wicking like this from now on!

He's one of the great ones.

To elaborate a little on the whole thing as personally I always want to know why, you want to keep your coils clear on the outside because you don't want to be filtering your vapor back through the cotton, cotton tastes nasty, so you want a nice clean airway in to the coil to pull that vapor off and into your mouth. As a little experiment try putting way too much cotton in sometime, go to the point that it's blocking off the airflow. Then you'll know what the person who said this meant (I love the quote though I'm paraphrasing) "i don't want to suck on a titty through a wool sweater".

So clearer airway and no nasty cotton taste.

I did that before because I thought it would hold more juice and work better. Inevitably I kept getting a burnt taste and had to drip on it quite frequently. I see now that this works a hell of a lot better

How's that vape? Wondering if it ends up with that connecting strand overheating or anything?
It should thats the reason I took out that Double Barrel Build I did in the Velocity, the part that extends to each coil wasnt heating with the coils but would heat first and almost glow bright yellow when the coils were barely glowing

Doh, yeah that's what I was worried about, looks awesome, thought it might be a good way to get some beefier coils into a higher ohm build, but if it's acting like that, well no go. Back to the drawing board for what I build for my NC that's coming.

If that bridge is short enough it shouldnt matter but if its around 1/3 of an inch or more then Im pretty certain it will always heat up first.
Something like this seems crazy enough to work though...

That's pretty sick, I forget what that's called but that braid/knotting to connect them... wow. I'll probably just do some standard single core clapton to start.

The "Altered Bridge"
That for the entire build name? or just the braid/knot they do with that tiny wire? That name doesn't ring a bell but the thing looks very familiar.

I don't find mine overheating at all. The amount of air from the griffin keeps it cool, vapes great. Running the same build for about 2 weeks now.

Ehh worth giving a try, I got about 1.5ft of 24g fused clapton that I did just on a whim a while ago, far from perfect but I was trying out the swivels. Should be able to wrap that up and give it a whirl.
