Going PG free is a bit of a pain because most flavorings are PG based. I'm sure you can get VG based ones as well, but I wouldn't know where. If you can tolerate a small amount of PG (~5%), try using Flavourart or Inawera flavorings because they're very concentrated. As for the juice, add 5-10% distilled water to it to make it a bit less viscous. You can also try using saline (some people say it makes the juice more moist, didn't work for me) or pure grain alcohol/vodka (for a bit more throat hit)

Yeah, VZ SC (Super Concentrated) flavors rock.

They come from Russia and are alcohol-based. I let them air out a bit un-capped for it to evaporate while steeping the juice.

SC Caramel Mocha is bloody addictive. :D

ECX is another place to get flavors: http://www.ecigexpress.com/flavors.html
Just pay attn. to what the ratios are. ;-)

I do mostly PG free. I use Natures Flavors Organic. They are alcohol based. The problem is you need to breathe and steep pretty extensively to get no alcohol taste and full flavor permeation. Think about 1 - 2 weeks. I use a few tricks to speed it up, like heating the flavorings to evaporate the alcohol and crock pot steeping.

OH NO!!! That really sucks. You need the organic flavorings for coffee and tea!! All organic alcohol based.

medicine flower is good..
That's what I've heard. $40 for a 30ml of flavoring seems a bit excessive though. I may try one or two of their flavors just to see what it's all about. Have you contacted them regarding diketones?

I make PG free base then use flavors… If the tiny amount of flavor I use has PG in it I'm fine with that.

Just my 2 tarnished pennies… :D

You might want to do that.. I only have a couple of theirs, as I make a bunch of mine, myself.
I love messing with herbs and the vape I get from my own keeps me happy. :)

I've heard good things about the Blackberry too, but haven't mixed any yet.
I'm more curious about Blueberry cause it's one of my favorite flavors.
Alcohol flavorings may give more TH, or seem to be more harsh.
I'm down to 1-2mg nic with my tobacco flavors anyway, so it doesn't really bother me.
Some say to leave the cap off for 12-24 hrs to evap some of the alcohol.

I mix only the flavorings + a little VG in a glass bottle then warm in crock, cap off, with a fan blowing on it. Once the flavoring has no more alcohol smell, I mix the rest of my ingredients and begin the steeping process.

If I am doing VG only I will warm the vg a bit in a glass bottle in hot water prior to blending. Makes it easier to pour and work with.
Then after blending shake it like a sob, then hot water bath it and let it cool, recap it and shake and hot water bath it again before a test vape.

VG only? Nic or flavoring? Many of my mixes are PG free but there is some nic 0.3% and probably a slight amount of residual alcohol from the organic flavoring.

Just something I have tried sans nic since the heat will degrade it.
pre warmed vg for easy of mix then reheat with flavoring.

It takes quite a lot of heat to degrade nic strength. When we did our UC/crockpot steeping experiments, the nic percentage was unchanged after 4 hours at 150 degrees! (Of course you wouldn't do this with a whole bottle of premixed nic if you just going to take a little out.)
