Newbie here, need some advice

Hey guys, I got into vaping about a month ago with eleaf ijust2 kit.

I started practicing some tricks and I just wanted to know if my current kit is enough to start practicing jellyfish. My O's are not as consistent as I'd like them to be but I don't know if it's down to my build or just the technique. I am limited by budget so my current kit is the best I can afford at the moment.

So if you guys could tell me if I should keep on practicing or is my kit too weak for such tricks. I'm smoking a 30/70 pg to vg mix and I'm not sure it can handle much higher vg than that

kit specs are 3.7v @0.3 ohms - 12amps - 44watts

Although a higher powered mod can help produce bigger, denser clouds, that's not always necessary for doing tricks, and often times can impede performance. If you take too much vapor, it makes it hard to manage your lung control, and you end up expelling more vapor than necessary to make on "O", and if you draw for too long, the vapor thins out in your lungs and makes your "O"s wispier, making it harder to perform jellyfish. If you watch Pro Trickers, you see they take shorter quicker draws (filling most of their lungs, but not forcing it in) and don't hold the vapor in there lungs for too long. Tricking is ALL about technique, not power (although having power at your disposal is helpful). Another thing that helps is an RDA. Although you can trick with a tank, an RDA allows even more precise airflow control, and being able to adjust how much vapor to air is allowed into your lungs will help manage your lung control (Too much air and your vapor is thin, not enough air and your lungs are starving for oxygen, which is what will make you cough)

So TLDR: Tricking is about 20% Power and 80% Technique. More vapor is not always better, being able to control your lungs will improve your "O" density and allow you to jellyfish

If you watch most of the good vape trick guys like v gods you will notice the longest pull they take is 1 second but it doesn't matter how good your setup is it mostly comes down to techniques and muscle memory it took me about 3 months to get perfect 0s. You want to make sure you can pop a fast perfect 0 everytime and manipulate your 0s perfectly before trying to work on your jellyfish technique the most important part of any trick is the 0 once you learn that perfectly then you can work on advanced tricks. Take my word for it, it took me 3 months to get perfect 0s and about 3 days to get perfect jellyfish after that. It's all about that 0.

J do hope you started vaping as a healthier alternative to tobacco, @eyeballer.

When I first started smoking cigarettes, I thought it was pretty cool. Blowing smoke rings only made it cooler. Not so cool was when I realized I couldn't stop. Fast forward several decades when I started vaping. Now, the phrase of which I'm most proud is "I used to smoke cigarettes."

I still know how to make rings, but, as with most ex-smokers, there's no fascination. When I was young, sure. I started smoking as a young teen. Since most of us are ex-smokers, many think of it that way. Tricks are for kids.

You just read alll that, so, thanks.

I bet the 30yo winning 30k trick comps disagree. people have many reasons for vaping let's not judge and understand we are all in the same game with different back grounds and different reasons. It's vaping not a judgemental religion we are talking about.

This is a forum for vaping ej. Os are vaping related. I am willing to help people out with any vaping related information I know. This forum has some really great people nice community but when comments like yours are posted in the derogatory manner you presented it it's rude and just makes this community look like egotistical ass holes. Who has anymore right asking about how to produce clouds vs how to produce 0s? Answer me that. What's the difference.

I actually started vaping to stop smoking, and it worked. One month in, I can't stand cigarettes. I tried one 3 days ago just to see if I can still get some pleasure out of it and it felt disgusting. I started smoking 9 years ago and to stop within one month is nothing short of a miracle to me. Os or no Os,I am definitely more satisfied with vaping than I ever was with smoking.
Also, as I said, I am extremely limited by budget so I can't post about sick builds, brands and whatnot. Tricks is what I do to entertain myself and my friends. I can accept that this was maybe a wrong forum to post that, but I don't understand what is so dreadfully wrong with asking for help with something that many vapers do? Just to be clear and say that I'm not generalizing, I have massive respect for you guys who took the time to help me out and gave me some tips or at least a few thoughtful words of encouragement

As for the ijust2, I had it for 6 days before the 510 threads stripped. No tank will screw into the battery anymore. My advice is to be very careful. The thing was sitting in my pocket and the tank just fell off. I loved the thing before that. Goes through a ton of juice but that's the nature of the beast.

I'm loving it so far. One month and no problems whatsoever. Ran out of power only once so far and that was after a 2 hour marathon of messing around trying tricks with my friends. Even the shop owner told me that I'll get the best bang for my buck with ijust2

Silly tricks may not be my thing either, but this is a forum, last I checked, for adults to talk about vaping, even if other adults want to talk about aspects of it that you're not into.

I remember when I started building sub-ohm before it was really cool, and the people on the old forum shook their fists like an old man chasing me off the lawn. Let's not do the same, eh?

Yeah looks like they are built for each other. But fuck looks the performance is what gets me. I have never had flavor EVER not even from my tugboats or royal hunter mini that can match the vcmt. And vapor.. well we all know about the vapor.

i have the ijust2 as well but so far so good.No problems as of yet and yeah boy i burn through the juice though!
