Burnt coil smell

Hi,

can someone please help!? my vape was tossed around at a party and someone vaped by 0.5 ohm coil on my cubis at 90w and it burnt the coil terribly.. i tossed out the coil but the entire tank breaks of the burn coil and I can't get the smell out of it!

what do I do? other then buy a new tank

Clean the thing. Break it down and put it all in boiling water. Soak it in vinegar. Soak it in Everclear or Vodka. Soak it in a baking soda and water solution. Any one of those might be enough, or a combination of them. There's really no magic answer as it depends on how sensitive YOU are to the flavor in question. You might have to replace the o-rings as well, the rubber can hold on to flavors a lot worse than the steel and glass. Personally, a complete disassemble, cleaning, boil and 24-48 hour soak in vinegar has never failed me but again, it really depends on how sensitive you are. If you decide to try soaking it make sure you rinse it well and dry it completely afterwords.
