I would like to publicly thank @Daintanee
I received an awesome package of delicious eliquid and I am very thankful for the note as well. The Vanilla juice is a very nice blend. You are amazing my friend!

I would like to publicly thank @CrazyChef edit: @caddisfly I think it was from you that I received some awesome eliquids, that Plum Crunchies juice is off the hook!!

I would like to publicly thank @f1r3b1rd for the very generous package that was shipped to me from MechSauce not only are their juices so good, I have considered making a purchase from them in the near future because their pricing is crazy good and the quality is great. I have not bought pre-made juice in quite some time so for me to say that says something.

Thank you everyone for helping make things a little easier for me, it means the world to me...

None of us are quite right, I aware!!! You know it was our pleasure. Plum crunches was from Caddisfly. He also made the Hobbit Vanilla recipe I sent you. Caddisfly and I worked on the Hobbit Vanilla together. The NF malt and small amounts of Irish cream and Tiramisu really enhanced the vanilla, the malt giving it a nice full flavor.

Ummm... I'm sorry, but I STILL haven't had time to put together the package for you that I want to.
With the Grand Opening of the website coming this Monday, I've been really busy.
But your juice package will be on it's way shortly - I promise! :D

oops, my apologies to @CrazyChef
I want to publicly thank @caddisfly for the awesome Plum Crunchies and the other juices but the Plum Crunchies in particular wow that is such a delicious juice!!!

Caddisfly, I assume you are a fly fisherman? I too fly fish. Well, not currently but when I am gonna be able to I will try and get back into it.
My current setup is a St Croix stick with a Orvis Reel, I forget which one I have now but I had the battenkill before it was stolen, I will check and let you know if you are interested in knowing. lol I haven't got into tying yet but I should since I primarily use only one fly. Anywho, thanks!!

I am a little late in posting this and I apologize. Sometimes I get a bit sidetracked and whatnot.
@Huckleberried I wanted to publicly thank you for the delicious juices you were kind enough to send my way.
Thanks to MamaJ's and to you, I think I actually like vaping Cherry now.
Still letting the other one steep though, might need some time on this one.
VU Community, I want to also publicly thank each and every one of you for your kind thoughts, generosity and support. It means more than you know!

Some days are better than others but the vape mail makes life so much easier to deal with, at least when I am seeing it through the clouds. :D

Message to anyone and everyone: Do not break your ankle in 3 places, it freaking sucks hard!!

I am not sure what bothers me most, the fact that I have to learn how to walk again or having hardware in my body or the possibility of always feeling that hardware when I put on my shoe (which I have not been able to do yet :().

With my lack of grace can you believe I have never broken anything except a toe? And my tail bone. And a tiny fracture to my neck. I think that's pretty good if you seen my level of coordination and age.

I had something similar a few years ago. A year of everything from casts to boots to walkers to crutches and so on. Physical therapy and lots of pain. It does suck, and while it's all happening it feels like it will never end. But it does. For another six months I had to take it easy and not overdo it, my foot would certainly tell me if I had. 3 years in I can finally wear heels again (not that you're worried about that lol)

I can't feel my metal pieces very well through the skin unless I go looking for them. But I can tell the forecast better than any weatherman. And every so now and again it hurts for no reason if I haven't been supporting it enough with the right shoes, but it's a dull ache nothing terrible.

Wishing you the best and if you need to let loose and bitch feel free to PM me because I've been there and it blows so much

You are more than welcome nabibrian, It's a pleasure to help out a fellow vaper, especially someone who's appreciates it. Don't forget to try out that honey custard that Shark made for you only. I hear it will grow hair on your toes! Just think, no more buying socks, the hair will keep you feet warm! Enjoy that juice and I hope you foot feels better real soon.

This was helpful more than you know. Thank you for sharing this with me.
I had a tri-malleolar fracture and according to my doctor it was very serious break.

Note to self: in 3 years you can start wearing high heels

Mine was a torn tendon, but to fix it they had to break my heel and ankle to fit everything together right with some plates and screws. I'm apparently immune to morphine and woke up screaming and begged them to just cut it off lol. They refused anything but morphine until they realized 8 shots in it still wasn't working. Not my best moment haha

Ugggh!!
Well, when I broke my foot...I had to be rescued out because I had been hiking.
For some reason they could not find a vein to give me pain meds so they had to hike me out with not pain meds.
Then to make matters even more intense, they had to set my foot/leg twice because the first hospital did not do it correctly. Like WTF!?
"Just cut it off", I think I know that feeling....Thankfully they did not cut it off and now back to high heels, that is awesome!!

That must be the lady I see walking around downtown dragging her leg behind her. Yeah I heard about her too.
Nope, and not that wheel chair bound bundle of crazy I ran into today... Was tempted to thump her with my cane to shut her up.

It was my moms 10 years ago, twisted her shit right around, Kaiser almost did more damage than the break and never told her about the fractured hip either. . Same cocksmoking fuckwits that did not tell her about her tumor back in 01.

No shit 4 months in casts, walking cast for over 1.5 years and was in a wheel chair for 8 months.

Sounds like she had every right to be. Pain will do some things to a normal mind. I nearly broke down when I had a botched surgery when I was 30. Took a LONG time to get through that, plus more surgery. Glad those days are gone.
LOL When I was laying there praying for death she kept trying to talk to me.. I finally had to have her removed because it was pissing me off to the point of anger.
Let me enjoy the buzz and stop asking me shit, I am busy dying over here.

For those interested in an update...

So far, I have been allowed to move out of the cam walker boot thingamajig.
I am able to wear my own shoe(s) with an ASO ankle brace.
After having that heavy boot on all the time and wearing my own shoe it is like walking on air sort of.
Lot's of pain when stepping down and then lifting the foot up.
From what the PT person is telling me, I just have to work through the pain and keep moving forward.
Then there is the feeling that the foot is going to turn and I can feel the hardware inside and it is a freaky weird feeling.

So for now I am now using a cane instead of the crutches, so that is some progress!
