Which coils do I buy?

It doesn't look as if you can buy replacement coils for the ascension there. I'd do a search for vaptio ascension coils and see what you find!

I'm from the UK.

Also, would it be more beneficial if I buy a new tank for my mod? Like an Aspire one?
IMO, a different tank of a brand, that is most commonly used, will make it easier for you to shop for replacement coils.

This. I'd never heard of the Sail S50 before and just found the first place I could with the coils so they'd be easy to ID, but if they are hard to find in the UK then a different tank might be the best option.

Ok. thank you. Wasn't sure at first, I didn't think I could buy a different tank for the box mod (charger) or whatever you call it.

I'll probably buy an Aspire tank. They seem popular!

Can you post a pic of the 510? Asking because it says 'redefined 510 thread with innovative 3-pin structure.' It may be that you can't put regular tanks on it, but I'm not sure.

I'm gonna sound stupid but what is the 510? Is it what the tank screws onto?

I agree 100%!! I also tend to buy tanks that have a re-buildable deck (RBA) available. Even if they stop making coils, I can always make my own, not to mention it is a MUCH cheaper option in the long run.

It's a standard 510 thread. I don't know of anything that is commonly available that doesn't have the 510. Anything from Uwell, Smok, Kanger etc will fit just fine. Having a 50w max is probably your biggest limitation depending on what you buy. Looking at each manufacturer's coil specs may help you decide. You'll most likely need to stick with coils that are 0.5ohms or higher. A tank with temp control coils could be your best bet, but it looks like you may be limited to nickel if I'm reading the mod's specs correctly.

Which tank would you choose from this site?

No, that's the lower limit. Anything between 0.2-3.0 and you are fine. You'll be close to maxing out your power the lower you go because those coils need more energy to heat up.

Out of the choices given, I'd personally pick the Kanger toptank mini. You have a few widely available coil options that will fit in your power range, and I'm a fan of top filling. You also get the re-buildable deck with it if you ever want to try and make your own coils. I personally feel there are many tanks that are superior to the Kanger (I own a mini) as far as flavor and cloud production goes, but the 50w limit will probably keep you from using some of the newer tanks. Most will require at least 30-40w because of the newer coil designs. My TFV4 for example doesn't even start to come to life until I hit at least 50w. I'd also consider the Atlantis. They offer coils that are widely available.

If you really want to get into the newer sub-ohm tanks, I hate to say it, you're going to want more power...

Ahh I see. I was worried, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to this and I thought I needed the same ohm power haha. It's either the one you recommended or the Aspire one. Thanks again!

It can be a little overwhelming at first. I think either one will suit your current needs just fine. Watch some reviews of them on Youtube, that may help you decide...

If you are playing with the thought of building your own coils, I have to agree with @Flightmedic76, in getting the Kanger Toptank mini, due to coming with the RBA. It is fairly easy to build on this deck, so it's a good beginners option.

Do you think this is a regular 510? It looks slightly different to me.

I don't think this is a commonly available box, and remember that are some people (Halo comes to mind) that do use propietary threading on some of their mods.

I only say it's a 510 because the manufacturer states it is. Samzon, do you have a shop in your area that can verify? Or maybe a friend with a different tank to see if it threads in?

Not just if it threads in, but also fires up.
