The search for a really thick, creamy custard (Chess Pie?)

Hi all, so I'm still working my way off the stinkies (holding at 6-7 analogs per day, down from 30). Using a CF4+ with 1.8Ohm BVC coils @8W. My local B&M's flavors (I like their custard most) just seem a bit washed out on flavor, and I need 12mg nic to not want to smoke - which I know is not helping with flavor. However, I absolutely fell in love with Glas Milk - that thick, rich and creamy strawberry milkshake taste. So I went on a buying spree, trying to find the perfect custard complement to that.

Breakfast by Teleos's The Milk; Nicoticket Custard's Last Stand; and MBV's Vanilla Custard are all less than 1 week old; I have an order out for some Big Willie's Custard but looks like it might not make it till next week. To my palate, The Milk tastes like hot graham cracker crust - completely unvapeable, unless I cut it 50% with something like Moo Juice (strawberries). CLS is a tastier custard but still seems to be more graham cracker than custard. MBV's custard is about halfway between those - heavy on graham crackers but not unvaepable. Changed to brand new coils and washed/dried the tank between flavor changes.

Is this just me being super picky, since I still smoke this is a pipe dream? Should I just go get another bottle of Glas for the moment, and let these juices steep? Would switching to my iSubG/0.5ohm/~30W help with flavor? Or do I start buying Capella flavoring and DIY a custard recipe to get the thick creaminess/egginess I'm looking for?

Down here in the South you can get Chess Pie at the convenience store: a yellow vanilla custard so absolutely thick that it congeals and they cut it into 3" squares. The crust is usually about 1/8" thickness and isn't there to hold things together (like, say, it would be with a runny banana cream pie) - just for the flavor. It's cornmeal that makes it congeal so well - but in the end result you don't taste that ingredient. THAT's the flavor I'm after.
