Just got it in the mail the other day. Its HORRIBLE. I was led to believe it was using a CHDNA 30 chip, its not. Its their own version and its very under powered. At 30 watts and a sub-ohm head @ .8 - feels like im vaping off a 3.7v device. The original vamo is actually better in my opinion.

I'm ashamed I even pimped this piece of shit.

When this and the Tobeco came out, I was seriously waffling between the two. Got lucky with my decision!

It'd be interesting to see this thing put on Busardo's test kits. Hope it's in his review queue. Not interested in buying it at all, but now I'm curious about the actual numbers.

I'm surprised honestly given how reliable all the other Vamo's have been over time. Have you contacted the vendor? Maybe bad chip?

I have heard similar things from others who have bought it.

Officially Unpimped, thank you, I was sort of looking at getting one. So many other 30-100w devices coming out lately, I most likely will just settle on a rDNA.

Wow, thanks for putting a previously-pimped product on blast! I was attracted to this thing big-time for a while, but I'd just bought 2 more Vamo V5's. At this point I'm probably going with a higher-wattage box mod for my next regulated, but still appreciate that a guy making money off positive reviews calls out the turds when they float to the surface...

I never saw this post until now. I was googling vamo. I also have one of these. Shock Horror Terrible !! It's a bloody bad vape. It rattles like a pill head and sucks like an old lady.

I like mine. Bought one after my VS RDNA30 broke. The rattle from the buttons are not noticable, unless you take it up to your ear. It's easy to lock and it's nice to use. Put a Nautilus mini tank on and it's amazing

to it's credit it works ok with a mini kayfun or clearos. it just doesn't hit at higher watts with RDAs and sub ohm atties.

Joe, all hope is not lost. I have been talking about this for a while. Yes it is a POS but It is good for more than the trash. I want as many as I can get dirt cheap.

Hobby we spoke about this mod. Do you know who/how I can get all the crappy shells of these mods?
