I started using 100% VG juice (Nicotine 12mg + 10% water as advised by some experienced folk here)

Mainly to avoid muscle, shoulder ache due to Lactic acid buildup from PG.

And it worked, all aches gone.

    What I was wondering was:

    1) What is the VG sourced from (Plant)

    2) Is any particular source better, safer

    3) I got some on a trip to Melbourne, and it was quite cheap.
Got 120ml VG juice with 2% Menthol for AUD $12
    I added the Nicothine later.

    4) I noticed that the VG juice was from China.
Is it safe, as their safety standards may not be up to the mark ?
    Electronics I dont worry about.

    5) Any recommendations ?

    Cheers

    1) I think its Soy
    2) Coconut is another source but is less available and cost more.

I'm sure one of our resident DIY wizards will chime in with better info.

Not no wizard, but I'll do my best :)
First of all, Grats on finding a way to enjoy your vape. Now VG is made from one of many plants, the cheapest and most common is soy, then you have coconut and palm, there is also one or two more that I'm probably forgetting, but I have personally only used soy based VG. Coconut and palm are pretty expensive compared to soy, but some people swear by it, I wouldn't know though. The only reason I can see in using palm or coconut over soy is an allergy, but maybe someone else knows more on that.

As for China juice and supplies, entirely up to you. I personally don't like 'em, but it's cause the e juice I've had from China is absolute unsalvageable shit. Maybe their mixing supplies are different, but I wouldn't know. How heavy have you been vaping on it? If you've gone through a good bit in a decent bit of time with no repercussions, you should be fine (don't quote me on that.)

China = Quantity>quality do with that what you will

I do tend to agree regards the quality. I used to get my PG/VG juice from New Zealand, which was great.

Got it from China once, was something else... I wouldn't want to touch it. Threw it away after 1st use.

The VG I buy is made from Palm

Vegetable Glycerin is a favorite among eLiquid manufacturers. It is a viscous and slightly sweet compound producing a smooth, full vape. This compound is a derivative of palm oil. Liquid Barn’s V.G. generates large amounts of “cloud” vapor due to its viscosity and high purity of 99.7%.

    Product Name: Vegetable Glycerin USP
    Chemical Formula: C3H8O3
    CAS#: 56-81-5
    Color: Clear Colorless
    Purity: 99.7%
    Kosher Certified
    Musim Mas ISO 2001-14001

All products bottled and shipped in the U.S.A.

Wow reaally affordable pricing. Hope the international shipping to Aus is also cheap.

They say bottled in the US, does not specify country of origin. May email them.
