20 years of smoking cigarettes

I'm 36 and have been smoking for 20 years. 2 packs a day.
I got a smok r200 and tfv4 mini tank and think it's great. I haven't had a cigarette in over a month. I got on here for advice on how to run my r200 settings with the different coils for the best and cleanest results.

On a personal note...
I work at a big rental and no longer have to smoke outside. I also am a dj/host/emcee at www.route66bikerrally.com in Oklahoma. I like tattoos and motorcycles.
I have a 1 year old daughter and a great wife who is also vaping with me on the same set up we bought for xmas. One for each of us. I'm hoping to live longer and save some cash.

Is it a titanium coil?
Do I run it as a dual coil?
What is the best temp, wattage, and ohm level?

as far as your coils go, smok only makes kenthal coils so they are kenthal and for use in power mode only. not temp control mode.
For the wattage they print on the coils the recommended wattage. start on the lowest number then raise it little by little until you are happy with you vape

Congrats, not sure if that coil is Kanthal or Ti - SMOK does or did make stainless coils for the TFV4 (I still have some) so it's possible.

They are definitely Kanthal not Ti - found this great description of the coils on this site

Thank you for the welcome. I'm saving roughly $80 to $120 a week with vaping. It's a miracle. Box mods are way better than the ecigs and pen devices I've thrown away in the past. I can feel myself getting the nicotine.

Yeah it's referring to the coils themselves inside the housing...to be honest most pre made coils will be for power (or wattage)mode on that regulated mod

For a beginner I would recommend you steer clear of temp mode and coils for it best to do some research first

As others have said Smok always print recommended wattage and on the side of their coil start small and work up when breaking in a coil checking for bubbles before each increment... I never reach max most people feel it tastes burnt by that point

When I put a new coil in will the smok r200 mod box select the coil type for me? For instance I have a tf s6 coil... the r200 says it's set for titanium dual coil... does that sound right?

You probably have it on temp mode buddy change it to wattage mode

Most Smok UI is the same so 3 clicks of fire bottom > scroll through until you find mode > select watt mode > start on soft or norm > find correct wattage for your coil

Note if you're breaking it in go much lower to start ramp up slowly
