5/10 Connector Stuck On Tfv12?

Really weird issue going on here. Had a predator 228 mod with tfv12. long story short a friend dropped it a few times and the tank popped off, with the 5/10 connection piece from the mod still on it. i've gotten a new mod i dont care about fixing the old one, but i've tried pulling the connector piece off, using pliers, trying to unscrew it, and gotten no luck. if my tank can be salvaged, please leave ideas

Bigger pliers Rubber bands around base of tank... or try sticking a small screw in the air flow hole use as a lever. Take tank apart.
