Not a bad looking mod although it reminds me of the iLEAF design (not a fan myself ), wish it had rounded corners on both sides and a fire button positioned like it is on an MVP but thats just me . I bet others will love it, good luck to you on your new venture , i wish you much success.

This looks like the way mods should be built , solid and tough as nails , won't see a China mod with that type of build.

Man, what i would do to have extra $$$ to buy at will and not sweat it , must be nice .

I've got a couple of mods I'm gonna to try to sell to cover the cost. It's set to be complete in December so it'll be my Christmas gift for myself. ;-)

Right on Jordan! Already liked the MHM facebook page. Time will more than likely go by slow until I receive the Nucleus! It's gonna be my Christmas present myself!

As a matter of fact, I received it yesterday! It is a little larger than I imagined it would be. It seems to be well built and a solid device.

Awesome looking mod you got there. I have been following this one and saw on the FB page that orders were being sent and it made me think of this thread. Thanks for the pics. Firing all your attys and hitting like a beast?

So far it has fired everything I've threaded on it. I haven't ran it all the way up to 100 watts yet. I'm gonna rebuild this 28.5mm TOBH I've got and see if I can vape my face off!

Looking forward to your take on it as you get a little bit more familiar with it. I am pretty interested in it and I was lurking in this thread when you jumped on it which is why I bumped it.

How does the bypass work from switching to unregulated mode sounds very interesting is it still potected the switch can handle the load I may just grab this... let me know

I don't think the 100w SX-350 chip allows a bypass mode, since the battery are running series. The SX-350 Mini does offer bypass mode. I think the mod creator may have misunderstood the capabilities of the chip he is using.

Good catch.. yeah after reading the specs I have to have any high wattage mod have the abilities of 7watt --> to x power after reading the specs I see that the 100watt version is 10 to 100 that will not cut the cake for some sensitive mods even a new Kanger Subtank at times with certain juices needs to drop to 3.6 3.5 watts I saw this alot last night when I was at the vape bar good think my IPV V3 can do this the poor guy was losing his mind on his freshly charged mech at .5 ohms

I want to know the answer!! Now if you want me to buy this which I was going to but I will give you the benefit of the doubt you are busy..

Does the bypass work on the 100w? and is it accurate according to the specs of the 350? I private messaged you and got no response..
Let me know I have money to burn..

I agree VH it seems to have hit the marks with both build quality and function. I am looking forward to hearing more about this mod as more ppl get them in hand.

Holy shit! That mod is fucking HUGE. There is enough room for 4 batteries. .

To be honest, I do not mind a bigger mod, but these are ridiculously big. No way I would buy one at any price point, but that's me.

I might look at putting in a dual 26650 sled, or even a dual 32650 sled.

With the size of the case, I can't figure out why they DIDN'T make this a 26650 mod.

This is just not a mod you'll be carrying, unless it is carried in some kind of Pelican case.

I think it's due to the availability and quality of the batteries.18650's are well known, 26650's a little less, and 32650's are rare. I've got a high power xenon floodlight/spotlight I use on my boat at night which uses 4 32650's. Never seen a mech that uses them...but they are probably out there somewhere.

I think you are right Zam.

Though the 26650's are not hard to find. But there are some making unregulated and Mosfet boxes with 26650's. Now, from what I am seeing trending in price, they are about 50% more than the 18650 boxes though. The only reason I have not bought one is because of the price difference.

I do think though, my next box will be a Smaug. Those have begun to grow on me and I want one. Wish they came in a green color though.

I looked at the Smaug 150, good price point, but I'm concerned that the SX300 chip is a knock off clone.

I checked with Jordan, the SX-350 100 watt version does not have a bypass mode to go directly off the battery, the V1 did, but it was capped at 50 watts or so.

Thanks bro yeah thats the only reason I did not get one... I thought it was awesome and it is.. but I wanted the bypass that would have been really cool
I know its not a necessity but I already have several high wattage devices and another coming..

I support USA mod builder's... For the price of this box, this is definitely a BUY!! Very unique device, they should've just slapped 26650 batt in this giant!!
There's always a market for this pricey MODS....and ummm aren't we going smaller this year?? This thing too damn big...IMO

Well, I have a quad 18650 sled and a Dual 26650 sled left over from a DIY project. I made a quad 26650 (all in parallel) with a mosfet, fat daddy 510 and put it in a hammond box. Used it for a week and a dude who own a vape store near me bought it for $150. He still uses it with some scary low builds, low like 0.08 Ohms! I think he's nuts, but he's a safe nut with quad 26650's in parallel.

I hear you my meager collection is a mix of Chinese and USA built mods and they both have their place the Chinese stuff is affordable and promises a bang for the buck and a lot of the American manufactured stuff is typically higher quality with a sturdier build, I am hoping this is like a high wattage Provari that can take some abuse and keep on ticking.
Like I said I have been following this one since this thread and yes it is big but that does not bother me as I like everything else about it, plus I have big hands so I doubt it would feel cumbersome to me.

It will be at my door on Monday.

Looking forward to your opinion on the build quality and performance, hope you share some more pics in the way of vape porn.

I'm putting the mod through it's paces atm. Using a .4 Ohm dual 24 Gauge microcoil in a Vapewell. That atty has enough air flow, you could breathe through it. Anyway the memory setting m1-m5 are now set. I'm creating a new weather system at 60 watts. Impressive power. This mod is BIG, perfect for my sausage fingers and big hands. Not really a carry with you mod.

Ok, a short review:

The unit is BIG, fit my big hands nicely, the interior is well laid out and neat, wiring is top notch. The case is a tad rough with the anodizing, not 100% smooth, I can see tooling marks and grind marks below the anodizing. The screws on the case cover are beefy and made of hardened steel. It would be nice if they were magnets since you can't charge the 100W via the USB, that's for firmware updates only. Batteries are in series. There's no battery venting holes, the case cover has a bit of a gap on the top and bottom which serves that purpose.

The fire button is a big ss clicky horn button. The watts up and down are those freaking bb type switches (don't like em personally). It's a heavy fucker, not for carrying around, it's also built like a freaking tank, thick and very solid aluminum. You could probably run this over with a car and have it still work. That Fat Daddy spring loaded 510 has fit very atty I've tried.

The updated V2 SX350 performs really well and is spot on accurate, I mean really, really accurate with voltage output under load. Matches up perfectly with an Ohm's law calculator. Resistance is calculated correctly as is displayed watts, volts and battery life. The battery life at 60 watts with a .5 Ohm Vapewell Dripper is better than the same Dripper setup on the Sig 100W by about 30%. There is zero firing lag or warm up time with this mod, compared to the Sig 100W. It appears to be a flat DC signal, not pwm.

I've set up the memory functions m1-m5 with different watts, they are saved after changing out the batteries.

Overall I really like it with the exception of not having a magnetic case cover, but I can fix that myself. The warranty is really good (1 year) and Jordan (the mod maker) is really responsive to questions and is helpful.

This mod is pricey, but worth it in my mind. I'll be using this thing when the other stuff I have dies off. If you get one, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Disclaimer: I bought this mod for myself, I don't get vape gear for free, just not that popular with the "in crowd" I guess:rolleyes:. Never got invited to China to hobnob with the big boys. My views are mine alone.

Hi... trying to get a hold of Jordan. I bought the Nucleus 100 Watt SX-350 Box and would really like some info on it. There weren’t any instructions in the box.. settings, upgrade, etc. I am rather new to vaping but read nothing but good stuff on the box. I am using it & love it but would love more info—like how to upgrade the chip etc.. I have one of the originals (battery cover with screws), number 063. Anything info someone can send me? :)
Thx, Dawn
