Are you sure it's 7.2mg? That's a very odd strength -- maybe it's 7.2%? which would be 72mg, which I think is the limit of the TPD, or in the UK? Looking at your other numbers, it appears you've switched % for mg -- .06 is usually .06%, which is 6mg, and 1.2 is usually 1.2%, which is 12mg -- and 6mg and 12mg are VERY common strengths of ejuice.

If what I suggested of your notation switching is true, adding 5ml of 72mg nicotine to 50ml of 6mg ejuice will leave you right at 12mg -- it might not be *exact* -- math isn't my strong suit AT ALL -- but it'll be VERY close.
