Woo hoo! I have the lungs of a non-smoker, from my doctors mouth to gods ears!

I was a pack a day smoker, started chain vaping a little over 2 years ago and have been smoke free the entire time.

I decided to go get a chest x-ray to see what, if any effects vaping was having on me. And needless to say, it has had a dramatic impact on my health...in a good way!

My doctor says that my lungs look clear as a non smoker.

Just wanted to share!

Nice! I love how the ANTZ still like to say there's only "anecdotal evidence" that vaping is a much healthier alternative to smoking when there's actual people sharing stories like this all over! Any chance you could post before/after x-rays?

I don't have the before X-ray (didn't think vaping would be this good) but will post the after X-Ray tomorrow.

Hey people,

Thanks for all the great feedback. For some reason my computer won't load the disc with the image on it. My fiance just got back from Russia yesterday, so I asked her to take it to her office and put it on a USB for me. Will update soon!

What about hemorrhoids? Did you have him check for those?
I'm sure it's easy for doctors to miss vape related illnesses.
The only hemorroid I see is............

Nevermind

Discs are usually coupled with a DICOM viewer. You can google for a free DICOM viewer app.
Once you do that, take a screenshot with print screen and paste into mspaint. Or unmaximize and use snipping tool and paste that.
Of course I have to ask the obvious question of if you have a before picture before it would make any difference.
My lung collapsed at 19. I smoked for 6 years prior and 20 years after. I was worried about my lungs and heart 5-6 years ago after some pains and the doctor said I was fine. Can't remember if I got chest xrays or not.
Not trying to burst anyone's bubble but without a before and after you just aren't doing anything scientific and it is anecdotal.

Me? I smoked cigerettes from 18 to 30 got up to over 2 packs a day. Inhaled 10 to 15 cigars a day from 30 till 48. I am now 49 and feel lucky (sometimes :D) to be alive.
Nice. I did kinda the same route. Went from cigs to black and milds then vape. I felt so terrible when i was smoking thr blacks.

I have a x ray from the same day I stopped smoking. I had a 4 months long bronchitis that wouldn't cure with two runs of antibiotics. Doc said if I didn't stop that day, I would die sooner than I thought. I smoked 2 packs for 24 years prior to this.

A week later (already vaping like crazy) the cough stopped and the bronchitis was gone.

I'm planning on taking another x ray next July to compare even though I'm not a doctor and won't be able to see shit.

It would be nice if somebody here could read x rays properly and give an opinion.

Regards
Tony
