Alerts Without E-mail Notification? - Resolved

Is there a way to set alerts to my dashboard only.

I'd like to get alert notices when watched threads are updated, I'm quoted and so on but I do not want any e-mail notifications. So far I a can't seem to set alerts for anything without also getting an e-mail notification.

Click on your profile top right
Click preferences
Under Browsing Preferences/Options uncheck "and receive email notifications of replies"
