When I first got this tank I hated the jfc but after using it for 2 weeks or so it has really grown on me. Glad I ordered 2 of them. Think I'm going to break out the 2nd one.
Well i know it's been a while but mine it's on the way, hope it gets to me before a v3 it's release XD, photo as soon as i get it

Where did you order from? Thanks! How can u tell if it is the v2 or the original that I heard the machining wasn't so well done?
Wasnt the actual, real V1 never publicly released? As far as I know theres only 2 versions (that people call the V1 and V2) that are out in the public space. I have both, and the difference is the grips/cutouts and what not...

Just order one, you dont have a choice, youre gonna get which they have in stock. The v1 was never released and there are none for sale, the v2 was put out first and then they made the little changes and started shipping the v3 out instead. Its all the same thing.

Im just seeing people doing what they normally do on every forum...some bitch, some complain, others are helpful....its alot like a neighborhood...some people you should just ignore....I dont see any reason that would make me consider leaving here though...It's all in the Merlin thread

A YouTuber didn't like the device, compared it devices that had nothing in common with the Merlin. Merlin/Augvape/Roxy fanboys when into defensive mode, the reviewer came to the forum and started to kick up shit in some wierd attempt defend his opinion, some of it right but most of it really really wrong, Tia Vapes comes off as smarter than him. Anyways it ended with him posting personal information of Roxy's from contact information she sent him to get him to review the device in the first place.
After that she asked for people to stop engaging him or she was leaving. Three posts later is someone quoting him and she checked out.

Differences are single hole in the posts, the top fill is completely different, and the metal drip tip. Oh yeah. And the red orings.
The guy I got mine from sold about a dozen on ebay. His next shipment was the newer with the delrin tip, wider top fill, and two hole posts.

Yea I know what the differences were but I wanted it for the Coilporn factor....I was in on the Alleria loop when they were in the prototype stage I just never received one before it went to the V2 Im not sure what your looking for in trades but Ill pm you tomorrow about it.@raymo2u I bought a v1. just got my alleria. build a set of little alien coils for it and it was a slightly tight fit getting it together, then as it was screwing down the last few threads the inner glass broke first build lol...at least there was a replacement glass with it.

It's tricky - I broke my glass, broke my spare, stole the spare off the one I bought for my wife and finally got it right...then went and ordered a 5-pack of spare glass from FT...just got my alleria. build a set of little alien coils for it and it was a slightly tight fit getting it together, then as it was screwing down the last few threads the inner glass broke

vapes great. im a little leery of the jfc right now but thats just lack of experience. so far its working perfectly, just feels like it would be really easy to leave it too open and drain it over night or in my pocket. not a drop has leaked out yet though.Oh no
yeah i was just not thinking. i rolled up 3mm 6 wrap aliens and the glass fit over them but it touched them. as i tightened it down i guess the pressure increased enough to pop it. thanks for the heads up on replacements. i got mine from 3fv and they only sell the outer glass there. ill place an order for a couple new ones from ft

i wrapped up a set of tiny staples (6x .3mm) and stuck those little aliens in my boreas.really like the tank so far though, i just wish i wasnt stupid enough to break it in the first minutes its out of the package

@mach1ne, don't feel bad, I broke mine while cleaning. At least you got to put your coils in it. My feeling is that the wicks put too much pressure on the glass chimney. I have a set of aliens in one of the allerias that barely fit. I just took my time, fit and refit until the wicks didn't bulge around the chimney when I put the deck inside the tank.
I'm normally 3.0 ID on everything (and now that I've got my Boreas that's what I'm back to), but I had to get down to 2.5 to fit some basic Claptons on the Alleria. Tricky, because they call the inner glass a "wide drip tip." I see now though that there's a complaint the glass doesn't fit - I'll have to pull one of mine out and do a quick test comparison in the next couple days to confirm or deny...

i already copied the link to my reminder list, but i hadnt checked the comments yet. it looks like the singles and the 5 pack are all for the ft clone and not the authentic. shit. so it looks kinda like the options are: buy another alleria or two for parts, or buy the clone and a 5 pack of replacement glass. has the clone been covered in this thread already?
I haven't seen it, but I also took a forum sabbatical for a month or so and I'm just now kind of showing back up, so I'm not sure. If you can wait a day or two until I have a chance to take my v2 apart and try to fit one of the FT replacement inners into it, I can report back with experience, given I have both products in hand...somewhere.
EDIT to add: if these don't work, I'm FUBAR. Not buying more tanks just to get some little dainty glass sleeves. Will stick with the Boreas if that's the case.

thanks...this is all just making me think i should order a few for the boreas. i broke my griffin 25 a while ago and the replacement-replacement glass for that just showed up in my last order. im thinking i should just do a full order of replacement glass for all this stuff before it (potentially) gets really hard to find.thanks for the heads up. i guess ill think about buying another tank for parts. i wonder if the clone is any good. anyone tried one yet? it makes sense to grab one if thats the only way to get new glass...
Unless you're super-sensitive about size or obsessed with looking at your (usually pitifully dirty) coils, I'd go Boreas if you're buying another tank...
i want to have a couple nice tanks in 22mm for my skinnier mods. i just bought another alleria and some boreas glass so i still have at least one backup for each glass in all my tanks. it normally wouldnt be so imperative feeling, but the uncertainty of the future is kinda freaking me out.

I still haven't broken out my Alleria. Waiting for a raining day & if the vape apocalypse does come I'll have something new to play with.
