Och....crying my eyes out whilst listening to "All Around Me" by Flyleaf......I do this often to remind myself that I'm still breathing.
The Blessed Virgin Mary and Lacey Sturm are the only two women that have complete and utter control over me. I know Lacey personally.

Anyone else awaken to watch the "bloodmoon" this morning? If its not cloudy, I should be smack in the middle of it. :)

Here is a calculator for the Moon's eclipse timetable for your location: http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/LunarEclipse.php

Animation_October_8_2014_lunar_eclipse_appearance.gif

The full eclipse will start at 6:25 a.m. ET, NASA says, and last until 7:24 a.m. ET.
It'll appear 7-8% larger than that last one in April and according to some, could be the brightest in decades.

Just looked out the living room window, it's clear as a bell out and the full moon is lighting up the sky at about 10-o'clock high. Sweet.

Tiki is being a Lunatic...gotta love how animals can sense things eh?

Watchin it now and yes, I love animals situational awareness.

Manual settings on the Canon worked :)
F8.0, ISO 200, 1/200, 6X optical zoom - not bad but I can do better I think.

Of course, it'd be much better if I used a tripod, but not hauling that thing out in this neighborhood at 3am.

Bah, tried to get a photo of the actual total eclipse, but just not enough lens on this P&S camera for that. Looks beautiful though.

Moon is now about the colour of my avatar. :D
