Hi All, Anthony Vapes back here with my review of the Aspire Breeze NXT Pod Kit, please see the bottom for disclaimers and links. Note this is not marked as a sample version.

Introduction:
The Aspire Breeze NXT Pod kit is the latest Pod Kit from popular vape manufacturer Aspire. They have been around for a long time and have made some nice mods, tanks, and pods so have a pretty good track record overall and the breeze NXT is the latest in their breeze line of pod systems and the follow up to the breeze 2 and nautilus AIO. The breeze nxt is a simple rounded rectangle shaped style AIO Pod with refillable pods and a built in 1000mah battery and button press or inhale to fire. It’s available in 3 colors Black, White, and Red. Looking around online I see it mostly pre-order however in stock in a couple of places and priced around 25-30 for the kit, 8-10 for a replacement pod (which includes 1 coil), and around 9-10 bucks for a 3 pack of coils so good pricing.

Breeze NXT Battery Rundown
The Breeze NXT is a rounded rectangle style AIO (all in one) Pod kit, meaning there isn’t a separate mod or tank that can be used with anything else. It does have replaceable pods so you can carry spares, but those are sold separately and the coils are replaceable and you can reuse the pod like the Breeze 2, nautilus AIO or Nord. Design wise it’s very similar to the breeze 2 with a couple of improvements. It’s a good size all things considered. There is adjustable air like their breeze 2 and nautilus AIO which is great and they improved the adjustment location so it’s now on the input and side of the battery making it very easy to adjust on the go without having to remove the pod or anything. Really nice design there and it goes from a loose MTL to a restricted DTL draw. It has a massive capacity of 5.4ml which is great, one of the largest I've seen in a pod system. The battery is listed at 1000mah and it’s a non-adjustable direct output device. It features built in USB charging with a listed rate of 1A in the manual. I tested this 3 times with an inline USB meter and for the charge rate it charges at .91A max so good rating there. It charges full in about 1:15-1:20 so charges fast. Battery size wise i got 886mah-900mah so no complaints there. Pretty damn good ratings on aspires part. It also has passthrough vaping as well (does not pause and keeps charging) so you can vape it while charging. No Drip tip, the mouthpiece is part of the pod itself.

The Breeze NXT is very nicely built and lightweight. Paint wise I have the black which is a shiny black finish to it. It looks great and no signs of wear on the battery. The pods attach to the battery via a click in system and fit really well so good job there and fit it nicely with no wiggle or play. The older breeze 2 and nautilus AIO had clips you had to press a button to release which gave me no issues personally but I seen others complain about them breaking. They changed that as well here and now the pod itself just clicks into the battery so that’s not a worry anymore. To remove the pod just pull it out. To replace the coils they just pop into place and are held in by o-rings like the nord instead of the screw in style of the breeze 2. It is not compatible with older breeze coils and uses a new coil. You just remove the pod and then pull the coil out of the bottom to replace. The filling is pretty basic. Just a simple rubber plug and the cool thing about this one is it’s on the side so you don’t need to remove the pod or anything to fill like most. You just pop open the rubber plug and fill.

Usage is pretty easy. It has 1 button which is a fire button. It also has inhale to fire so you have both options like the caliburn. The air sensor worked great for me personally with no issues. Click fire 5 times to turn on or off. You can tap the fire button to see the battery charge as well. The battery LED is around the fire button and is Green(>3.8V), Blue(3.5V-3.8V),Red(<3.5V). Good spacing but a 4th step would be nice but most pods have 3 steps so can’t really complain. When charging the LED stays on and turns off when charging is complete and the charge color shows you the current charge as well. The pod sits inside the battery however there is a nice cut out on the side that’s deep and the pod itself is clear so it has a very nice juice window making it easy to see your juice level. Really well done there.

Coil Performance and details
The Aspire Breeze NXT Pod Kit comes with 1 Pod but 2 coils which is great. All kits should always include 2 coils/pods. There is 1 coil option for this kit which is a .8 ohm mesh coil. I used all 50/50 and 60/40 nic salt juices 20-25 mg nicotine. With that said both coils performed very similar so good consistency. Flavorwise they are both tier 1 and it puts out some of the best flavor iv’e gotten from a pod system. Right up there with ones like the caliburn and nord. COil life wise it was also really good. I got 20ml from my 1st coil and 25ml from my 2nd coil. RIght where I want it to be personally. Overall the coils for the breeze NXT are great.

Pros:
  • color options (3 total)
  • Massive 5.4 ml capacity
  • Good build quality on battery
  • Adjustable Air
  • good size for easy portability
  • good ratings for battery size and charge rate
  • charges fast enough (about 1 hour and 20 mins)
  • pods are easy to remove and install as are coils
  • reusable pod (just replace coil)
  • easy to fill
  • led is easy to see for battery meter
  • good battery life
  • comes with 2 coils
  • Pods are clear and nice juice window to see juice level
  • Great flavor for a pod system
  • great coil life and consistency
  • Passthrough Vaping
  • air sensor or fire button option
Cons:
  • battery meter could benefit from a 4th step
Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend this POD kit or not? I don’t like to do a hard yes or no, but this one leans heavily towards the yes. It’s one of the best pod systems I’ve used and I’ve used a ton of them and kind of made me a little salty I just ordered more coils for my breeze 2 before getting this device because otherwise I would have waited and I'll use this over my breeze 2 once I run out of coils for that. The nautilus AIO felt like a step back to me from the breeze 2, but the breeze NXT really nailed it as an improvement to an already great pod kit. I think aspire really knocked this out of the park and it should be recommended alongside the other top pod systems like the caliburn and nord. I added this to my spreadsheet of recs which is linked below, feel free to check that out if you are in the market for anything.

This is Anthony Vapes just keeping it honest, hopefully you all can say the same and I'll catch you on my next review.
