The Vaptio Turbo-L RDTA is a new RDTA from vaptio. It features a massive velocity style build deck with nice hex post screws, a 5ml capacity and a smaller bottom with smaller 510 pin to use it as a straight RDA without the tank. Initial Impressions and features
When I first got this RDTA, like always i took it apart and cleaned it up. It was easy to take apart and the threading is good. I was impressed with how wide the build deck was and the chamber is just huge. It’s really made for high watt vaping and big builds. I thought the spitback guard was a cool feature. I love the looks and the red accents on it. The included extra base to switch to an RDA is cool as well. It’s a side air but the position is great and easy to build coils above it for best flavor. And it has plenty of air as well. The air seems to match the chamber size very good for the right density with a large build.

    Build Deck (pics above)
Lets talk about the build deck now. It has a velocity style 2 post, 2 holes per post deck. While it’s nothing innovative these days, it’s a tried and true deck that works well and is one of the easiest to build on. It’s a dual RDTA, no option really of a single. I mean you could if you wanted but it’ll but the flavor for such a large chamber. This RDTA loves a high watt build. The psot screws are good quality hex grub screws which are my favorite. And it comes with spares. It’s easy to line up coils with air correctly as the top of the coil needs to line up with the top of the build deck. So while it’s not flashy, it’s a great build deck for beginners or advanced vapers that’s tried and true.

Performance wise, I found the flavor to be above average for RDTAs. As i’ve explained before about chamber size it has a high potential for flavor, but needs high watts to get there. It’s really made for 80+ watt vaping. If you aren’t into vaping that high of a wattage, it won’t be a device for you, you’ll get muted flavor at lower watts due to the large airflow and large chamber. But if you like to be build, this thing kicks out some serious flavor. Great for vaping well over 100 watts easily. Doesn't really get that hot either surprisingly. If they domed the cap a bit into a conical shape they could have improved it a bit as well but as it stands now it’s still one of the better flavor RDTAs on the market for high watt vaping. I’d go as far to say it’s my favorite RDTA for 100+ watt vaping.

    Overall Impressions
Overall I was very impressed with this RDTA, the build quality is somewhere between average and above average. So I’ll call it slightly above average. The flavor potential on it is above average. Some small tweaks could have made it killer but as it stands it’s still pretty dam good. It does take a alrge build to bring out the flavor so it’s not for lower watt vapers but for my vaping style it fits my needs perfectly. It’s not all good though, there are some things I didn’t like about it. The spitback guard while good in theory just collects juice that goes into your mouth. I just removed it and don’t use it. Also the drip tip being proprietary is another thing i disliked about the RDTA. i wish they would have made it a standard 810 size so you can use any drip tip in it. Outside of those 2 nagging issues i really enjoy this RDTA.

    • Build Quality
    • Good quality hex deck screws
    • easy to use build deck
    • Color options and looks
    • Above average flavor
    • No leaks or seepage (if wicked correctly)
    • RDA option
    • 5ml capacity
    • Needs a big build so flavor is good (80+ watts preferable)
    • Proprietary Drip Tip
    • Really Tall RDTA
So with all that said, do I recommend this RDTA? I don’t like doing the hard yes or no but this one leans towards the yes. If you are a higher watt vaper or someone who likes RDTAs like the limitless plus or Ijoy Combo, etc etc, this is a great RDTA in the same class. While It does have a few nagging cons, The flavor payout is well worth it in my opinion. It is one of my favorite RDTAs. It is dual coil only so if you are a single coil vaper or lower watt vaper, this isn’t the RDTA for you. I’ll be adding this to my spreadsheet.

For good recommendations feel free to check out my google sheet of recommendations located here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1c4MZ2xYBE-1-0A6rLYY46OHtzHCM-roJINpxghmhzXM/edit?usp=sharing this sheet will be updated regularly so feel free to bookmark it. It has 3 tabs one for juice, one for mods, and 1 for attys

I want to thank you guys for reading (or watching or both).
