anyone else just not like the flavor from the subtank mini RBA?

I know there's a lot of drippers out there (and a lot of people who like this RBA) but the OCC coil just tastes better to me. I wicked it correctly and everything, no dry or burnt hits, but the flavor isn't as good.

Hahaha!!! It was a little more like the medium absorbency than the super, so perhaps that was it.
But it was definitely the scented kind. Im lucky I didn't get a yeast infection

a use the rba all the time, usually .5 ohm with 24g kanthal

I am using one right now. 24 AWG, 5/6 wrap 0.39 ohms. Taste is just fine!

I was never a big fan. But the tank is ubiquitous, and very easy to work with.l so I certainly owned a couple.

My go to tanks are now the goblin mini (amazing) for my stealth rig, and the Goliath V2 for my day to day tank. They're both exceptional.

Caveat: if you use pre-built coil heads frequently, the goblin mini doesn't have them, and the one I tried that came with my Goliath V2 (Kanthal) was awesome... for two days. So if your a coil-head guy, my faves won't be as well loved by you.

The TFV4 triple coil is surprisingly good too. But it's a wonky, juice guzzler of a tank.

Try using a higher gauge Clapton coil in it and see if that helps.

I've just started experimenting with mine (after like 5 months), but so far I'm also less than impressed. Will continue trying to get it right, especially since I've got a couple of the Keboxes on pre-order which will leave me stuck with Kanger's proprietary system...the OG RBA heads definitely benefited from some aggressive filing on the juice channels, though.
