They still use 'spent coca' leaves for flavoring though.
See my above post.

I used that white powder for a while, but coke tastes nothing like it. It's just bittersweet, a great deal more like medicine than anything I'd drink because I enjoy it. About the only coke I can tolerate is the fountain coke at mcD's; for some reason, it's a lot sweeter and tastier than any other "real coke" I've ever tasted. I wish they hadn't discontinued "new coke," it actually tasted good.

soda?

oh you mean pop.

I lived in Michigan for 5 yrs, so I started calling it "pop" -- after I'd been home about 6 months and once said "pop" around my mom, she wanted to know when I was gonna stop talking like a yankee. :giggle:

Down here, it's ALL coke... even the clear ones. :giggle:

MT Dew, Milk and OJ is pretty much all I drink.
In a bind I will drink water.
But I will go thirsty before drinking diet drinks.

I have accumulated a love hate relationship with my vape gear lol.

I tested many and of course not all sub ohm tanks. I personally never got any good flavor from them, except one, but the coils aren't that cheap, especially if you have to change them often.

I did the same with rdtas and the ones I tried fell all short.

Then rda none of them could deliver the flavor I wanted, I settled after having purchased dozen of more modern/current rdas on the market for the wasp nano. Now that's replaced by the recurve and I'm actually very happy with that.

On to rtas same here kinda, always into the newest dual coil none working bs, I now fully switched to single coil and only vaping one rta for at least the last 4 months, maybe longer but I can't remember. I'm sometimes look at other single coil option, but don't feel the urge of having to purchase them, especially if I feel it's just another hype of crap.

Mods, for the longest I used my drag, love it. Now I switched to a dna 250c, love it even more. Stopped buying and looking at mods.

Diy juice, I don't buy any commercial for the last 8 or so months anymore, but I also stopped running after every released and overhyped flavor. Is there something better? Yes there's always something better allegedly but with the sheer amount of shit out there, hard to find good stuff, unless you want to keep spending money. And why would i? I'm happy with what I got and maybe I add a couple rtas here and there if I feel like I need to experience it need a change lol.

I like the fiddeling but I don't like products that give me no reward at the end. With my single coils, it takes around 3-5 minutes wrapping coils for 2-4 attomizers, maybe another 2-5 minutes for the wicking. In less than 10 minutes I'm done with all of them and won't have to worry for another week or more. I'm extremely picky so my experience and example shouldn't be taken as a generalisation, but when I find something I like, most likely sticking with that.

do I have other mods/rdas/rtas/squonks? Yes we all do, I on the other hand have around 3 huge boxes full of that stuff. Most of them I pif to friends or people on the forum needing something, but there's a good amount of stuff, I would not even hand to my worst enemy lol

I like rituals and fiddling. I need the ritual behaviors for a sense of normalcy and I like the fiddling because when left alone with nothing to do, I can become a danger. All of my great inventions have come from fiddling and all of my dangerous ideas come from being idle. Every so often I get lazy and let shit back up on cleaning or building or whatever and end up using some stock coils in something and it instantly makes me go clean up or rebuild or whatever I have been putting off (unless Im sick or being really, really lazy and willing to suck on some subpar atomizer).

The very dialed in and awesome vape I expect from my things can only be had by fiddling.

Fiddling is necessary. I want a tattoo that says "Fiddle or Die" now. I am the fiddler.

Lol! It seems like I’m in the minority.....I love the tinkering, mixing, building.....it keeps my anxiety at bay. My station is a disaster of testers, experiments, bad coils, good coils, post it notes, wire trimmings, puffy cotton, tanks that need cleaning, bottles that need cleaning and I love it! I’m really good at maintenance in general, so vaping is right up my alley.<3:ejuice:
I'm with ya. I like to tinker with my stuff. I just need more free time to do it.

I’ve only been vaping for 10 months but I’m still enjoying. I’ve slowed down quite a bit buying gear but have been focusing more on my DIY e juice mixing.

I didn’t start vaping to get into a new hobby only to stop smoking. It turned into a hobby for me because I’m an electronics geek & like to fiddle with stuff lol!

I’m sure that like most hobbies at some point my interest in some aspects of vaping will wane but not of actual vaping.

I'm with wildgypsy here. I love to tinker with my stuff, but that's just my personality. I have something vape related to do just about every day. Whether it's mixing, building, making claptons, etc there's always something to keep me busy, but I enjoy it.

Lol! I actually lie in bed and think of what vape related tinkering I can do the following day :giggle:

That's why I got a good mod that all I do is change the batteries and a tank I fill once or twice a day and once a month I put in a new mesh coil....... No messing around with coils and cotton and always greasy and oily..... Man vaping can become s full time gig......

That sounds about like my own maintenance schedule, though I build my own coils. It takes maybe 5-10 mins, and I replace it maybe monthly-ish. It really doesn't have to be a time-suck. I think 5-10 minutes once or twice a month saves more time (along with the money) than going into Walgreens every other day for coffin nails -- their parking lot takes longer than that!

I really wish I could use tanks; I've got a couple of really nice Tobeco KFL+'s, and even one AUTHENTIC KFL+... but there's just no flavor. :( I'm gonna try out that new(ish?) Coppervape Caiman v4 MtL RDA and see if it can provide flavor as good as what I get from my Achilles; it's constructed quite like Achilles, and has interchangeable inner-airflow "nozzles" so i might even be able to get a really good tight draw from it. We'll see! But Achilles RDAs have ruined tanks for me forever. :(

Yeah, this running a restaurant business really gets in the way.....:giggle:

My wife and I owned a little restaurant in 2009/10. If we worked a 12 hour day, we were slacking! :)

As far as fiddling goes, I clean and rewick my rdta about every 3 or 4 days and my rta, about every 3 weeks. I've got an rda that's only used for juice testing so it gets rewicked quite often if I'm trying out new recipes. I've only got 3 good quality mods for home use and 2 little iStick Basics that serve as my carry-out vapes.

For my rebuilables, I buy quad core fused claptons and staggered fused claptons from advanced vape supply and just install them as needed. Being one-handed, I can't do much coil building, though I have wound a couple of simple 26g 6 wrap coils just to prove I could figure out how to do it. It's not something I'll be putting a lot of effort into because there are too many people that make good coils cheap, and I'm not into producing coil porn. I like to look at it just like any good art, but that's it. Like wildgypsy70, I do most of my fiddling with flavors even though I only vape 2 mixes on a daily basis. I am on a quest to find a third adv though. I do mix several different recipes for my daughter and one of her friends so there's that.

All in all, I pretty much enjoy everything I do vape-wise, and unless I'm out of juice, I only mess with it when I feel like it. :)
