Ok, at the eleventh hour, I did finally order one of these mods.

I was having a hissy because I got eliquid all over the place trying to refill my Luna. Was encouraged by a buddy to try a refill bottle, then another buddy pointed me to the $1.00 bottles at Florida Vapor. I then discovered that I could buy a mod with no additional shipping charge over what I'd pay for just the bottles! It was a no brainer! See how things work out? lol

Had to get a green door, that's the only thing. Love green, just not neon lime green. Have a potential solution, though.

I ordered another one too. I didn’t notice before that one of the bottles listed was the refill type so I had to add a few of those and the regular bottles to my order. Of course that lead to a few more RDA’s and juice that are on clearance...SMH

Dang. It's taking a week for FedEx to get a package to NC from CA. Took just as long to get to CA from China almost. Hell it sat in Charlotte NC for 3 days. That's 45 minutes away. But has to goto the Greensboro hub for local deliveries. Which is 45 minutes the other direction. Lol.

is anyone have a problem with these ? i am, voltage drop like a bitch. 1 almost doesn't work at all. this other one right now. i got a good juice, thanx @Pastorfuzz , that i want to dedicate a mod to. so i start using it, and its hitting weak. so i put the atty and same battery in a tube = BAM, hits like a freight train ! now, i know the Arma is not going to be as good a tube, but man, big difference.
and yes, the contacts are clean.

I think I have a leaky oring in my 510 but no issues with voltage drop. Did you adjust it too far up to make good contact? The way I have mine I had to split the difference with the attie gap and the contact to actually make contact

the one today, i did not addjust it at all, is as it came. the atty sits high from the mod, so it in there good. the contact hits right in the middle of the round contact.

My most recent BCF order went from Durham, to Greensboro, to Roanoke, and then to me.

It was 90 minutes south of me in Durham, then went 90 minutes southwest of me to Greensboro, then went 150 minutes northwest of me to Roanoke, then turned around and came damn near back to Greensboro to get delivered.

Makes not one lick of sense.

I have one in my vaping cabinet I haven't used it yet but I do like it. I'm working up to full mechs. Considering they're only a couple hours for me I was actually tempted to get in my car and go down there instead of paying $8 to have it shipped 2 hours away LOL

Ok so we talked a little bit in that other thread about not getting the best results out of these Armas, and I've now modified the coil in mine.

I had originally built this CSMNT clone for a regulated mod, then when the Arma came, I just rewicked it and moved it over. Resistance was really too high to start with and I should have modified it. It was a N80 staged coil at 0.38 ohms. I took two wraps out of it, so it's now at 0.25, and it's vaping a lot better. Before, I felt like I was having to DRAG the vapor out of it - just sluggish and wimpy as all hell. Much better now.

One thing I noticed when I was checking inside the mod a while ago, to be sure the 510 was making good contact: When you press the firing button, does the flat angled silver piece on the inside make good contact with that little round knurled piece inside the mod that sits over the bottle?

On mine, if that little round piece was lowered even a little bit, I can see where that flat angled silver piece would pass right over the top of it, and it may or may not make good contact with that little washer thingy that sits on top of the round piece. Not sure you'd want to make good contact with that washer thingy.

I respectfully ask that you do not make fun of my use of girly names for bits and bolts. K bud? I don't know what the flippin things are called! :)

ok, i figured out what is wrong with the purple one i am working on. idk if the others have this problem, but it bet they do.

see pic. what you see is a rendering of the switch contact, from the top. see the half moon between the 2 parts.
that is a gap between the contacts. so, in this ones case, there was only about .002" x 2 = each end, that was making contact.
i am surprised it was working much at all, let alone "weak".
so i sanded it some with what i have at hand.

now, this thing is hitting like a MoFo !

when i get to the garage and my tools, i will tell you how to fix this. in the mean time, get yourself a piece 1500 sandpaper.
then i will tell you what size drill bit to use. though a 3/8 should do fine.

Can't like that. Sorry you're dealing with this mess. I'm beginning to wonder if they saved all the fucked up mods to sell to us at $20 each, without disclosing that they were fucked up. What are the odds of you having three of them just coincidentally like that?

Mine appears to be ok, but I haven't taken it apart to look closely, and I have no intention of doing that. I don't buy mods so I can fiddle fart around with them.

    Sorry Jinx'd.

i think they are still making money off the $20, i have evidence of this. the arch was stamped to small, even if it didn't have bur's, it would have voltage drop. how many are like this, idk. and i have yet looked into this one and the first one that F'd up.
a good thing though, the fix is easy. what i find odd, is that it seems i am the only one having this problem.

if yours is working, don't bother taking it apart. but there is a way to check it without taking it apart.

There was another member who posted just the other day with the same problem you're having. I think they talked to Arma on the phone to get walked through a fix. This was right before the hoo-hah about them offering to sell you parts. That was part of what sent me batshit crazy when they offered to sell you parts!

yeah, i now remember that. i have a feeling that more are going to have this problem. and even if someone doesn't, if they want a much better firing mod, do the sanding.

Mine isn't firing. I've tried adjusting the pin up/down and thats about it.
Maybe @ARMAGEDDON MFG can stop by and fill us in.
One thing, if the pin on the atty is hollow, like a hex screw or a plug screws into it, the pin on the mod might not contact the atty.

You might want to take a look at Jinx's drawing earlier in this thread, if you haven't already. Seems like quite a few of these mods aren't making good contact between the main body of the 510 and the firing bar.

all right peeps, get a load of this. looks like juice was getting "cooked" at the contact points. what you see is goo that just wipes away. and then after wiping, the 510 is stained, i guess from the juice cooking, idk. but the other mod i fixed didn't have this.
and the bar is not the same diameter on this one either.

I assume that's from arcing inside the mod when it was being fired, because of the misshapen cutout on the bar?

I did see a very tiny bit of arcing inside mine the other day, once or twice. I don't see it now.

yeah bro, that looks like a magnet, but its not. just a piece of plastic. so you can whittle yourself another one ! lol

the screwdriver like that. hold mod firm. push in with the blade then pull up. comes right out. then putting back in, push it in that sam'ish place and push the piece back down. it has to go in the slot down there.
if that doesn't make sense, just let me know. then i can show ya some of my fantastic photoshop skills !

arcing and a bet it can get warm/hot right there, because of bad cutout. and the goo, juice really shouldn't get down there, but, ya know.

i have seen arcing also, its really small.
