How did you get it off? Had to be either an abrasive or a cleaner....?
i didn't. i just turned the 510 to a clean spot and it works better. i have some metal wheel polish, i think i will try that. but i'm thinking that even a piece of paper will polish it out.
Jinx'd, that is FAR too simple a solution. I am shocked, frankly.
You need to find a way to put power tools to work on it, tout suite! Otherwise, none of us are going to be happy.
What is the use of having a shop with 80 bazillion dollars worth of tools, if you just turn the flippin thingy and move on?
See, this kind of shit is what you get when you "made me look."
. hows this ?
Hell yeah, now THAT is more like it! You'll either FIX the fucker or twist it all to hell. No wimpy shit!
Let me get my phone ready to take a pic of you drilling into that battery! Crispy Jinx'd!
yeah, i didn't think you'd like a small drill bit.
Shoulda known that was coming.
Yeah, yeah, that's what she said. I know.
ya know, i really didn't think it that way. but now that you mention it
Gonna need a bigger bottle. My Jaws reference for the day. Ha ha ha
@Jinx'd . Try this shit.
I had the same problem with my Athena Squonk arcing and misfiring.
After i cleaned the contacts and applied this shit, No more problems.
I got it at Ace hardware but other folks sell it as well.
that looks like die-electric grease. do you know if it is/isn't the same ? i think i may have some somewhere.
I have dielectric grease that i used on ignition modules back in the day.
This is a little darker. Don't know if it's the same or not.
I know i put this shit on my Athena, 2 months ago and it's still working tits!
