aspire atlantis killing new coils

alright, so here's the deal.
gx-200 and the atlantis is my setup, routine coil change, saturate it good, prime. let it sit and soak. just as gross, got really bad, load up a new one after repeating that process, maybe it's a factory defect etc etc, hell no. same deal with the other one, I'm at a loss here gang. this hasn't happened before and I'm 100% stumped

i was using the same tank and after ripping a few coils apart i notice the cotton between the coil and the ceramic is amazingly thin
thats the reason im using rebuilds now i know whats inside my tanks) so a single hot spot or dry patch would be enough to expose the ceramic. i ripped one open after 5 pulls after presaturation and soaking overnight there was already exposed ceramic. personally i would contribute any downfalls to that least i did. so far bets options ive seen are build your own or the kanger subtank (my buddy uses one i ripped his pre made coils open and seems like its real cotton and only cotton* and kanthal just as they claim) still have some new coils from atlantis in a drawer can show a pic of what i mean if needed

Do you know what wattage you're vaping at. I burned up one when I switched from my RDA to the Atlantis and forgot I had it set for 80 watts.

1) http://i.imgur.com/aauJqn8.jpg one coil factory one rebuilt (Rebuild on the right with cotton missing from the hole
2) http://i.imgur.com/e2PgUAu.jpg a rewicked with organic cotton (lightly used) and a new unused factory coil)
3 http://i.imgur.com/yfDUfcF.jpg the parts of the factory coil the "ceramic paper" AKA fiberglass is in the middle of the inner and outer cotton (note that the inner cotton is the thinnest thing i have ever seen and would surly burn a hole through in no time)
