I just picked up an Aspire CF Sub Ohm mod and I'm super excited to try it out. I couldn't wait to tell someone haha. I haven't vaped in a couple weeks due to my mods all breaking or selling them so this better be amazing. Any tips for using it? It's my first mech mod

You can also use other attys on it, just stay at or above .3 Ohms. Don't like the ego type charging, but it works, just takes a long time.

So is it ok to use a .3Ω coil with this?
I won the titan and that's why I bought it, my understanding it comes with a .3 an a .4 I'll know for sure when it gets here later today.....I just don't want it to blow up on me ya know I'm kinda skiddish it's my first mod

Yep. .3 is the lowest you can go with it. It will simply flash the button light like 15 or 20 times if you are below .3.

Have the charger for it?

Yeah, it's not recommended to go under .3 so if it does have a .4 I'd use that just to be safe? What color did you get?

Charge it until the button light goes out, then it's fully charged. The charger is about 500ma, or 1/2 amp, so it will take some time. You will get between 300-500 full charges before the battery peters out. I have the CF model where you can use your own 18650. I mount up my Big Dripper and go for the day (with a spare 18650 just in case).

I also have an Ego One Mega in black. 2600Mah (22mm), charges via USB. Fires down to .3. With the CLR rebuildable/rewickable heads, that squat Ego Atty just does the trick. At .5 with the standard CLR heads, it put out admirable vapor for a "beginners kit". I wish I had one like I do now when I started vaping. 901 Atomizers and those fucking cartridges just sucked, but that's what was available.

The Ego One Battery is also a good one to get, not as cheap as $25, you have to get the kit - the atty is good on it's own and great for a backup, but it's got the advantage of being able to charge via USB with 1 amp wall plug, cutting down the full charge time to 2-3 hours.

Plus it looks killer with my Lemo Drop in black with a smoked tank. All evil and dark Vulcan kinda thing

Ok so I found this link about the charger
I know nobody likes ecf but if it's helpful....
https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/aspire-cf-sub-ohm-battery-charging-too-long.640460/

It says that the charger could be dirty, or it could of just crapped out very interesting read mine has been charging since 1 and it's still at it at 10 the website says it should only take 2 to 5 hours to charge. I'm thinking I'm going to order the aspire charger just to be safe. On a side note it should come with it's own charger

Hope this helps

Those ego chargers frequently fail no matter what the brand is. Prepare for it.

If you do order from Fast Tech, remember there is a discount code for batteries and chargers. I don't remember what it is but you might want to search for it. I think it's apx. 5%.

Sure, you can use an RDA on it, just build it higher than .2 Ohms an you'll be chucking clouds.

If for some reason it's .2 or under it would not fire correct?

That is correct! Make sure you test it on an ohm read first just to insure safety. If the device rounds it may become and issue because a .26 can make it go boom because the device reads it at .3 just be careful

So I'm thinking .4 to .9 to be within the safe range

The battery won't allow loads that are too low and overstrip the output capability. No boom on the CF.

LOL, no they don't. I have the CF Mod where I can use my own 18650. Fires right down to .2. The best of a mech and regulated device combined.

Not trying to thread jack but if you're looking at the ego one might also look at the ijust 2, same battery I believe just comes with a different tank and Ive seen em as low as $25ish. Eleaf and joeyetech are the same company, and from the reviews I've seen the battery may be a few less mah but is virtually identical to the ego one except for the button design and where the charge port is. That's probably gonna be my backup subohm rig when I get a little extra cash.

Just got my first aspire sub ...exchanged an ola x 2.2 vv t for it .. Best move I ever made this lil bitch packs a huge punch that don't hurt your lungs . right now I'm pairing it with a kangertech subtank mini with the Ktech RBA reading at .7 ohm. Consistency, reliability , flavorful and so cloudy that I can't even see the setup in my hand for a few secs . very very basic as far as usage goes . jus press and hold button and inhale thru your tip for as long as you want as long as you don't want to mess up your coil or brand new battery lol that ola x was a piece of shit and I'm sure it still is haha vape on my friend
