Attaching YouTube links

Hi All

I'm using Tapatalk and recently posted a link to a YouTube review that i copied from the YouTube app, anyway the video ended up being the advert at the start of the video and as a result I recieved a temporary ban.

I am unsure how this happened and am seeking some advice on how to post a video correctly in the future.

I saw something in the rules about not posting external links and that I can only post a video that can be viewed within the forum.

If I have read that right, how do I go about doing that?

Try copying the link from the browser, NOT the youtube app.
I don't post from anything other than a computer but when I post from a browser, I have no issues.

On my computer, I just copy and paste the video then add comments if needed. I can't do it on my phone with tapatalk.

I just hit share, copy link then paste it in the reply box. No issues.

That's what I did, I think where I went wrong was because I was in a rush I didn't wait for the add to end. I just opened the video and clicked share while it was still on the ad.

I'm going to try again here to see if it works after the ad.

I had to skip the ad first then copy the link once the video had started.
